    1. The mocha had boba, and it was nicely blended! The cronut was fluffy! The bagel sandwich was simple and comforting! 2. The spot has fast casual vibes as it was a typically order-and-go donut shop! 3. The staff were friendly and timely with preparing my drink and bagel sandwich! Note: There are plenty of tables inside to sit! Photo: Strawberry and Nutella Cronut, Egg and Cheese Bagel, Mocha Ice Blended

THE BESTT breakfast sandwich and delicious donuts! Donut holes were a 10/10!! The woman who attended us was very friendly, sweet and personable. Me and my boyfriend stopped by for a bite from this adorable shop. We're not from Buena Park but can't wait to come back when around the area very memorable

Pretty good! Donuts weren't warm but still soft at 845am. They open at 4 so they've already been sitting for a bit. Very friendly and very nice, helpful women who work the front. Both very talkative and helpful. This was out first time and yes they're just donuts but my girls like what they like. I didn't see the one my younger wanted and the woman directed me to the other side where the donut was. Will come again! They take cash and card but prefer cash. Nice selection and I guess mochi donuts are their specialty? I've never had them but they recommended them when we walked in. Bonus that they have water/ice based slushies. Not really smoothie like. And croissant sandwiches. Breakfast and lunch.

Fresh donuts and friendly service. They even have bacon maple donuts. Amazing! My girls love when we get to bring home donuts from Hot Donuts. I recommend a dozen. Much love are put into these delicious donuts. My favorite are the swirly ones.

They worked with me on getting the exact look I wanted for these donuts!

Our local donut shop for when we want donuts at home. Love ordering donuts here for events! I've done 3 events with them and gotten compliments on the donuts each time. They're very easy to work with and all really nice! Their donuts taste just as good as they look!

Hot donuts is located in a kind of hood area in the corner of a shopping center. I parked right in front and immediately locked my doors as 4 people were smoking weed on their bikes and near their car as they watched me walk in. Kinda weird but whatever. Anyway, the man working was super helpful as I selected a few donuts, they had a crumb cinnamon roll which was the first I had ever seen. Those are 2 of my favorite donuts so I was pretty excited about that. I also got a regular apple fritter. Each were $1.75 so instead of getting change back I just asked him to fill it with 50 cents worth of donut holes which were 10 cents each. He ended up giving me about 10 donut holes. I tried 2 donut holes on the drive like a fat person. One was regular and was meh, 3/5. But another had a blueberry flavor to it and I had read this place was known for their blueberry donuts. It was a nice surprise. That night I ate half of the crumb cinnamon roll. I have a rule of only eating half a donut to cut the calories and reduce diabetus. Man that was really good. 5/5 I put the rest in a ziploc and ate the other one the next day, well half of it. The apple fritter was still surprisingly soft and tasty. The apples inside tasted fresh and overall was pretty delicious. 5/5 I had another donut hole but it was pretty weak so I threw the rest away. The main donuts are great, the donut holes are ok, but the location is pretty sketchy. Overall a 4/4 and I would definitely come back here.

How much for a dozen custom made donuts?

It depends on the complexity and cost needed to make the donuts. It’s best to come to the shop in person to discuss prices because we can see what you want us to make. I all I can say is that it will be “at least at the bare minimum” $17 for a dozen…

I executed a beautiful cheese pull upon my first bite, but could not capture it on picture because I ate too fast! So you'll just have to take my word for it. My family also enjoyed their sandwiches. What made the stop even better was the service behind the bar. The employee taking our order and serving the sandwich was genuinely pleasant, attentive, and accommodating, offering great recommendations that made choosing easy and the experience even smoother. The sourdough was exactly how it should be: fresh, crisp, lightly toasted and sturdy enough to hold everything together. Inside, Calabrian deviled egg salad met a perfectly jammy egg, spicy mayo and peppers for a creamy, tangy kick with just the right amount of heat. Messy? A little. Worth it? Absolutely. This was a lip-smacking, reach-for-another-bite kind of sandwich. We didn't have time to dive into the beer selection, but there were plenty of tempting options. We were headed toward REI to grab some outdoor chairs and decided to stop at GHOST Sando Shop in Huntington Beach. I've driven past this place plenty of times and never really knew what it was. It also happened to be one of the only places open in the shopping center that early, so we figured, why not? Man, we had no idea what we were missing. We ordered the Melrose for ourselves and a Club for our daughter. Marco took our order and was also the one making the sandwiches. A few minutes after we sat down, he actually walked over and asked me, "Are you sure you want the pepperoncini and tomato on the Club?" My first thought was basically, uhhh... yeah, of course I do! Then it clicked. The Club was for our daughter. Marco had remembered that from our conversation when we ordered and knew that a lot of kids probably aren't exactly excited about pepperoncini and tomatoes. Meanwhile, Dad over here completely forgot to ask for them off. That might seem like such a small thing, but THAT is customer service. Marco wasn't just taking an order, collecting payment, and moving on to the next customer. He was actually paying attention. He remembered who the sandwich was for and took the extra few seconds to come over and double check before making it. Good looking out, Marco. Seriously. And that wasn't the only interaction we had with him. Marco was incredibly friendly from the moment we walked in. He talked with us, answered questions, and even gave us suggestions on other sandwiches we should try the next time we come back. Nothing felt forced or scripted. It was just genuine conversation from someone who seemed to actually care whether we enjoyed our experience. There were only two guys working while we were there, yet everything was running smoothly. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was relaxed, the bright green interior gives the place its own personality, and there's plenty of seating inside along with a really nice outdoor patio area. And most importantly, the sandwiches were GOOD. The Melrose was a great first choice, and Melody enjoyed her Club, thankfully without Dad accidentally loading it up with pepperoncini. We also grabbed some Calypso lemonades, which went perfectly with everything. We originally stopped here simply because it was open and convenient. Now it's somewhere we'll intentionally come back to. There are thousands of places where you can buy a sandwich. What makes you remember a restaurant is usually the people behind the counter. Marco made us remember GHOST. Excellent food, clean restaurant, great atmosphere, and genuinely outstanding customer service. We'll definitely be back, and next time, Marco, we're taking you up on those recommendations.

TOGO'S recently revamped their rewards program so that whenever you accumulate 50 points, you earn…read morea $5 off reward. Points round up if the subtotal ends in a half dollar or more. As part of this revamping process, TOGO'S migrated their rewards system to a different platform, and if you successfully migrated your account over, you get a $2 off reward that is valid for 2 weeks. My $2 off reward was going to expire in 2 days, and I was planning a quick trip to the area to visit a couple other businesses in the same intersection, both of which had offers that were going to expire the same day or the following day as well. I normally wouldn't go this far for a TOGO, but was definitely willing to make an exception this time around. This TOGO'S in Cypress is located on the southwest corner of Katella and Knott. The dining space inside is quite ample, much larger than the Long Beach location I must say! There was a large family sitting in the far corner on the left hand side, but towards the right, there was an employee, Logan, who was ready to assist me. As I was looking at the menu, I didn't like how the menu was kind of scrambled around. What do I mean by this? So I was intending to get a mini 3" sandwich to redeem my $2 off since percentage wise, that'd be really good savings there. The right side of the menu specifies the sandwiches that can be made miniature, but the sandwiches are denoted by their assigned numbers. The numbered sandwiches aren't in any particular order, so without Logan's help, I would have had to bounce back and forth between different sides of the menu to understand which sandwiches come in a 3" size, and for how much? Such a cumbersome way to present that part of the menu that I really wish TOGO'S would consider reformatting the menu for ease of readability. But I'm starting to digress. Logan did help me out by specifying the four mini sandwiches that I was initially looking at. I thought about the #3 Turkey and Cheddar, but once he told me the #20 was Albacore Tuna, I decided to go with that. Tuna sandwich for less than $4? Count me in! Logan asked me a couple questions: What type of bread, and would I like all the produce? Since I'm trying to get more whole grains and vegetables in my diet, I said whole wheat and yes, respectively, to his questions. However, Logan was trying pretty hard to sell me on a kids meal, which also comes with chips and a bottled water, despite me not being a kid, except maybe at heart lol. I did ask him how much a Kids Meal was, and he had to go to the register to look it up. It was a couple dollars more than a mini Albacore Tuna sandwich, but since I was planning to get food at a neighboring eatery, I passed on the kids meal and settled for the mini sandwich. While Logan was crafting my sandwich, he asked his co-worker, or maybe supervisor, Brian, to ring me up. After scanning my QR code for the migration offer, the $2 came off, no problem, and I paid. Shortly after I paid, Logan had my sandwich ready in a takeout bag. I asked for a water cup, and he gave me one, no problem as well. I took the sandwich and water cup to a table by the window to enjoy, but the first thing I noticed was a small piece of bread stuck to the outside of the wrapper?! Well, not so great presentation up front, but after unwrapping the sandwich, I found the #20 Albacore Tuna to be quite good! Unfortunately, it seemed Logan missed a few of the vegetables like the olives, jalapenos, and the cucumbers, which you can request in the TOGO'S app. Kind of disappointing, especially since he asked if I'd like all the vegetables before crafting my sandwich, but I suppose for those three in particular, you have to proactively ask? Nevertheless, I enjoyed the tuna in this sandwich, and there was still a good helping of vegetables in the sandwich otherwise. However, $5.75 for a mini is still kind of steep for such a small, but mighty, sandwich. Like I said earlier in the review, there are plenty of tables for customers to sit at, so unless an entire baseball team and their parents are there to celebrate a big W on the field, I doubt you'd see a full house in this TOGO'S. Overall, TOGO'S is still a good solid spot for sandwiches even if they're a little pricier than Jersey Mike's or Subway, but they do stuff the sandos with good quality ingredients! Also, despite the hard, but rather unsuccessful selling job, Logan was still a pretty cool employee to do business with.
