Best sandwiches hands down! Fast and friendly Always Always a clean and welcoming atmosphere

TOGO'S recently revamped their rewards program so that whenever you accumulate 50 points, you earn a $5 off reward. Points round up if the subtotal ends in a half dollar or more. As part of this revamping process, TOGO'S migrated their rewards system to a different platform, and if you successfully migrated your account over, you get a $2 off reward that is valid for 2 weeks. My $2 off reward was going to expire in 2 days, and I was planning a quick trip to the area to visit a couple other businesses in the same intersection, both of which had offers that were going to expire the same day or the following day as well. I normally wouldn't go this far for a TOGO, but was definitely willing to make an exception this time around. This TOGO'S in Cypress is located on the southwest corner of Katella and Knott. The dining space inside is quite ample, much larger than the Long Beach location I must say! There was a large family sitting in the far corner on the left hand side, but towards the right, there was an employee, Logan, who was ready to assist me. As I was looking at the menu, I didn't like how the menu was kind of scrambled around. What do I mean by this? So I was intending to get a mini 3" sandwich to redeem my $2 off since percentage wise, that'd be really good savings there. The right side of the menu specifies the sandwiches that can be made miniature, but the sandwiches are denoted by their assigned numbers. The numbered sandwiches aren't in any particular order, so without Logan's help, I would have had to bounce back and forth between different sides of the menu to understand which sandwiches come in a 3" size, and for how much? Such a cumbersome way to present that part of the menu that I really wish TOGO'S would consider reformatting the menu for ease of readability. But I'm starting to digress. Logan did help me out by specifying the four mini sandwiches that I was initially looking at. I thought about the #3 Turkey and Cheddar, but once he told me the #20 was Albacore Tuna, I decided to go with that. Tuna sandwich for less than $4? Count me in! Logan asked me a couple questions: What type of bread, and would I like all the produce? Since I'm trying to get more whole grains and vegetables in my diet, I said whole wheat and yes, respectively, to his questions. However, Logan was trying pretty hard to sell me on a kids meal, which also comes with chips and a bottled water, despite me not being a kid, except maybe at heart lol. I did ask him how much a Kids Meal was, and he had to go to the register to look it up. It was a couple dollars more than a mini Albacore Tuna sandwich, but since I was planning to get food at a neighboring eatery, I passed on the kids meal and settled for the mini sandwich. While Logan was crafting my sandwich, he asked his co-worker, or maybe supervisor, Brian, to ring me up. After scanning my QR code for the migration offer, the $2 came off, no problem, and I paid. Shortly after I paid, Logan had my sandwich ready in a takeout bag. I asked for a water cup, and he gave me one, no problem as well. I took the sandwich and water cup to a table by the window to enjoy, but the first thing I noticed was a small piece of bread stuck to the outside of the wrapper?! Well, not so great presentation up front, but after unwrapping the sandwich, I found the #20 Albacore Tuna to be quite good! Unfortunately, it seemed Logan missed a few of the vegetables like the olives, jalapenos, and the cucumbers, which you can request in the TOGO'S app. Kind of disappointing, especially since he asked if I'd like all the vegetables before crafting my sandwich, but I suppose for those three in particular, you have to proactively ask? Nevertheless, I enjoyed the tuna in this sandwich, and there was still a good helping of vegetables in the sandwich otherwise. However, $5.75 for a mini is still kind of steep for such a small, but mighty, sandwich. Like I said earlier in the review, there are plenty of tables for customers to sit at, so unless an entire baseball team and their parents are there to celebrate a big W on the field, I doubt you'd see a full house in this TOGO'S. Overall, TOGO'S is still a good solid spot for sandwiches even if they're a little pricier than Jersey Mike's or Subway, but they do stuff the sandos with good quality ingredients! Also, despite the hard, but rather unsuccessful selling job, Logan was still a pretty cool employee to do business with. read more

Wow blast from the past at least in my case. I've totally have forgotten to look this way.......i always come in this shopping center the opposite direction. What a fucken miss excuse my language but it's true. Well I haven't step in a togos since the 90's. So glad this location is still open. Today was the day we came in....looks very old but kept up. Ambience was very clean and pretty empty (my kind of style) we were not in a hurry and dined in. Service was great, employees are very friendly and informative of what went on your sandwich etc.m Our food was yummy.....we can't wait to come back. read more

Been checking out this establishment everytime I pass. So I gave in step in and place is clean and dining area you can do friends and family comfortable. Nice menu good variety, I decided on a original classic the Italian 6 in or as they call it a Regular. They also have the large a 9 in. Counter staff very friendly 2 young men monitored the counter. A young man with curly hair and a true customer service attitude helped me. Need more staff like this young man. My sandwich was great sourdough fresh all the ingredients tasted fresh no seriously it was great sandwich like if you went to a mom and pop deli. It wasn't busy when I arrive but I was at the edge of everyone getting off work for the day. It establishment has High counters so you don't see your sandwich being made. My wife needed to go to Staples, so since it was 2:30 PM and we hadn't eaten lunch yet, I asked her if she wanted a sandwich from Togo's? She said yes, so I called and ordered a pastrami and a turkey&cheese both 9 inches. We drove from Staples to Togo's and my wife went in to pick up our sandwiches. They were already made and ready to go, so we drove home and enjoyed our sandwiches. I had been to Joe Schmoe's last week and boy was I Jones'n for a real pastrami sandwich. Togo's puts 4 times the meat and you can order 3 different sizes. We ordered the 9 inchers and Schmoe's gave one size. It was 1/4th the size of Togo's and was the same price as them. Togo was fast, made a far better sandwich, and we took it home and ate it in our own comfortable chairs while watching tv. Thanks Togo's!!!!! read more

If you LOVEE avocado, get in it. Turkey avocado sandwich probably has a whole avocado in it. The turkey was a bit salty and they forgot to put extra red onions on my sandwich :( But overall, quick service, friendly employees and coooool drink machine. The one where you push the touchscreen and mix to your life's content. The powerrrr. Ambiance looked depressing. My sister compared it to a hospital cafeteria. It is dark and empty, basically. My wife and I visited Togo's of Cypress today and I can't give a higher review than five or I would! First of all Alicia is running this store absolutely amazing everything from the food to the ambiance and the service was on point. The store was so clean and well kept and the pretzel ramis were delicious. Alicia was training Brianna in a way that made her feel super confident about the job that she was doing. And with that confidence she built perfect sandwiches. Alicia is very kind and assertive that really helps tremendously with her training. Every time I visit this location it seems like everybody enjoys working there and it makes you feel really good about the experience. I am actually a former Togo's franchisee and I can't express to you enough about how this store is being ran. Kudos to Carla I know it takes a lot to trust somebody to run your business but you're definitely in good hands when you're not there! Had a pleasant experience here. The place is clean with more than a few hand sanitizing pumps spread out around the place. And there's enough space inside to physically distance. Employees are friendly and efficient. Ordered the meatball and tuna sanwdwiches. Quality is much better than Subway. read more

Grabbed lunch here with my husband, it was pretty busy but despite that the service was amazing. We were helped by Brian and another women who's name I didn't get but she was very personable and friendly. Ordered a number 4, and my husband ordered a Buffalo chicken sub. I love Togos and eat there at least once a week. I always eat at Togos on Bellflower blvd in Long Beach, but visit this location on Sundays after church. This past visit, I ordered a number 3, no cheese and extra turkey. The sandwich was fresh, but it seemed very skimpy on Turkey, so I took a picture. A week later I went to Togos LB on Bellflower blvd. I ordered the same sandwich, the same way and it was much better. See photo below. Please ignore the 1 star review from Tiffany. She is a nurse that obviously lacks compassion and empathy for people. (Her past reviews are all 1 Star Reviews). I came here for the first time yesterday and loved it! Workers were super friendly and helpful in making suggestions on what popular sandwiches to try. The price is a bit too expensive, however the quality and amount you get is well worth it. They even have a soda dispenser with the option of "non-touch." Togo is worth the try.
