This place was right by my motel. I stepped out headed for Lee's Sandwiches another 8 minutes down the road but got lazy when I saw they had bfast, seating and Vietnamese Iced Coffee, my whole reason for heading to Lee's. I stopped in, the manager or maybe the owner, greeted me in a friendly manner and we chatted a bit as i ordered. I got an egg, turkey and cheese croissant which was huge and yummy. A fried egg wrapped over cheese over meat, warm and gooey. I also got an old fashioned donut, yummy but still regretting it as I type this, ;) and the topper, the iced coffee. Man, that was good. We were in the area getting gas, when we noticed the familiar donut sign on a building. We decided to check out B & B Donuts. In addition to have a store front, they also have a drive thru. Food They had a ton of good donut options. Additionally, they have croissants, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, coffees, and other drinks. I grabbed an iced mocha and a half dozen donuts. Chocolate cream filled, chocolate bar, blueberry, chocolate sprinkles, and a M&M's one. If you couldn't tell, my family loves chocolate. We often get donuts, coffee, and/or breakfast sandwiches here, but we also decided to go back for my son's birthday donuts - again. Love this donut shop. I drive by it all the time and finally decided to stop in. I've gone in twice now and both times were a little before 11am on a Sunday. There are always people inside but not crazy busy, and the little line moves quickly. They have a few small tables inside if you want to enjoy your food there. They have the freshest, chewiest donuts. Seriously so good. I've haven't tried anything other than the donuts, but their coffee and other breakfast items seem to be ordered just as frequently. The service is awesome too. I've been helped by the younger guy both times and he is so nice and patient. I try to get a good assortment and he'd make suggestions to complete the dozen. Everyone who tried one kept commenting on how good the donuts were. Prices are reasonable as well. They accept card too, which is such a plus since donuts tend to be a cash business. Came here for something different. I was hungry and was on the 91 freeway near the Harbor exit and my hubs recommended a sandwich from B&B donuts. I said, well that's random? So I agreed instead of going to the usual drive thru. We shared a combo ham, turkey, cheese and salami sandwich. It came out warm and the French roll was crunchy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The meat to bread ratio was perfect. It came with lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard. It was so delicious on my first bite! If the rolls are made in house I would buy some to make other types of sandwiches at home.
