This is a chain restaurant and I describe it as a subway but with burritos. You walk down the counter picking what you want in your burrito or salad. Service always seems nice. The inside is like a modern industrial look, atleast that's how I feel. The food isn't great but not terrible. I like it but the price is kind of a lot these days. Very disappointing. I tried to order online but when I went to pay, it said something wasn't available and wouldn't let me finish. I tried again. Finally went in person. Told them what happened.The young man was not friendly even before I opened my mouth. I asked if they have the Big Beefy Burrito . He said yes and proceeded to make it without asking about salsa etc. When he made my veggie burrito bowl he asked what kind of rice. I said brown. (Got home to find he put white rice and it was over salted.)When I went to pay, he charged $10.99 for the beefy burrito. He said they can't honor the $6.99 online price. I explained it wouldn't let me pay online. They said it's not even on their menu. I said based on size it wasn't worth $10.99 , I don't want that and that I'll just go thru the line and get a regular burrito. He went back down the line. The other guy said "what are you doing?!" And threw the big beefy down on the counter telling him, " Just open it and make it. " I said I only want the burrito bowl. That's all I'm paying for." Worst meal I ever had there. Went to this place a few months ago and was very impressed. The staff was super welcoming and the Manager was very personable and pleasant. We enjoyed talking to her while our food was being prepared. My daughter got make your own nachos, and I got a burrito bowl with chicken that was excellent. The sauces were really tasty. I'd like to say I'm only giving this review 3 stars because the customer service was super. I wish I would of skipped this lunch and went somewhere else. I got the pork burrito bowl and immediately regretted my decision. I just wasn't good. People always tell me they love Hot Heads, I don't understand. My food did not taste fresh and my guacamole was brown and the chips were stale. The burrito bowl was ehh. Was in the area for work and wanted a quick lunch that wasn't a drive thru. The place was clean and the staff friendly. There were a good amount of choices for meat, veggies, sauces, etc. I got a brown rice bowl with chicken. The chicken was good and not overly dry. What I really liked was the sweet habanero sauce. It had the consistency of honey and was sweet, but not overly sweet in my opinion. I was in and out in 5 minutes. I will definitely be back when working in the area again. read more

From the very first time we tried Hot Head Burritos, we were impressed with the friendly service, and especially the manager, Tenacia (I hope I remembered the spelling right!) The food is good and super tasty, the store is nice and inviting, the staff is helpful and friendly, but Tenacia is what makes the place worth visiting. 'Above and beyond' is what she gives every single time, and with a great smile on top of it all. She makes each customer feel special and as if she has all the time in the world to chat, yet she is super efficient and gets thIngs done quickly. Please check out this fun restaurant. I LOVE Hot Heads Burritos but this location is lacking in the quality control aspect. The last two times I went there with multiple item orders, the burritos got downsized while I being charged for the regular size. If you are ordering in person, you can keep an eye on the portion and size. The food is good and I will order from here again. read more

This place is literally and I mean literally the best place to eat in New castle. I mean whoever brought it to union in that plaza is a savior and most likely a sorcery wizard. In our stupid plaza we have a barely running kmart and a shut down bounce and around. Its pathetic. I haven't had one bad burrito and the workers here actually want to work. The best one there is Liv and everyone else is great too. Every time I get a burrito I may eat too much to the point of yaking it back up but boy is it worth it. Eating to the point where you can't walk because it was so good and hope you make it home in time. The place is really nice and clean as well and beats any fast food restauraunt any day. You get a thick ass burrito which weighs as much as a dumbell and probably has enough calories to kill a donkey but who cares it is so good. This place deserves a Nobel Peace prize for being great. It is so good in fact that if I get tired of it I would still eat here and bloat myself to death. Best part is they have an awesome mascot that is a hothead flame which is sick. All mcdonalds has is a creepy ass clown that makes you not want to eat there and lock your doors and leave the restaraunt immediately, later filing a restraining order.
