I have stopped in a few times and the food is made to order and fresh. The hummus is amazing and I personally love the Gyros and the falafel pita. Order the Sriracha fries. And they made the whole meal worth it. My husband and I both love their food ! They are not open too late I think they close at 6 so it's a great place to stop and pick up take out after work. They just built a beautiful addition. I would love to sit and have a pita at lunch time and just relax by the waterfall ! read more

Just found this little piece of heaven on my lunch break in downtown New Castle . I ordered the Hen House pita with feta, cucumber sauce and fresh cut fries. This was a delicious well made pita wrap. All the ingredients were fresh and tasteful. The customer service was also excellent. I'm pretty sure the owner waited on me and she was so kind and friendly, the kind of person you want to hug, friendly. It was clean inside too. Can't wait to go back and try other things in the menu and maybe a salad. Since the lettuce was fresh cut and not bagged, If you have had any kind of gall bladder, stomach or digestive issues we all know how important that is. read more

Incredible little sandwich shop in the old Dog House Diner building (across from the Thrift store). Prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous, but the food is absolutely delicious. I got a gyro with everything on it. The feta cheese with the cucumber sauce is what truly sealed the deal for me. Wife got a salad with mushrooms and loved every bite! The pita chips seem to be homemade, and are really quite delicious. The diner renovations are impeccable, and though there is not abundant seating for large groups, there are plenty of seats around for those looking for somewhere to sit and eat their delicious pita lunch! I will absolutely be coming back to try more of the homemade deliciousness! read more

My mom and I stopped into Pita for lunch today and we were not disappointed. I love the concept of being a breakfast and lunch location for all things Pita. The service is quick and they have a drive up window which is convenient for those that need to pick up a quick lunch. I also love that they have something for vegetarians with their veggie pitas. If you are not into Pita, turn it into a salad! You also have the choice of making your meal into a combo for an additional $2. Sides include fresh cut fries, sweet potato fries, tossed salad, chips or Pita chips. All of the meat-eater pitas are priced at $6.50 and you can't beat it. Today I had the hen house Pita and it was packed with thinly sliced steak and portobello mushroom. Smoothies, protein smoothies and dessert pitas are on the menu too! I don't have enough good to say about Pita. The food is all fresh and local which is hard to come by in our area. And the food is absolutely incredible. There is an expansive menu and you can change anything into a salad allowing for a lot of healthy options. I love the protein shakes too! One downfall are the hours because they close at 6. I absolutely love this place. The food is delicious and you can't beat the prices. I have lunch there every time I am in New Castle around that time. Never had anything I didn't like, the Hot Henhouse is one of my favorites in addition to the Gyros. The combo comes with your choice of pita with fresh cut fries and a drink for $9, can't go wrong. Restaurant is also exceptionally clean, even the bathrooms. I have seen them wiping down the condiment containers several times which impressed me, I'm a bit of a germophobe and you hardly ever see people doing that. Anyone that says this place is anything but excellent is lying to you. read more
