It was my sisters' first tattoo and they were super annoying with the amount of questions, and details they wanted to know, but Jay took it like a champ. He was super patient, understanding, and even funny when easing their nerves and pain while getting the tattoo. They are extremely clean. They sanitize everything and take their time doing so. So it's a bump and now is painful to put any jewelry in. My tongue ring jewelry falls out when I speak, eat, etc. the bar is super long and not easy to manage. He made sure I knew the pros and cons to white ink and a tattoo the size I got it. He made sure he showed me that he was changing out needles and other product. It's definitely a tattoo parlor/ piercing place. You feel that vibe before you even walk in. A hole in the wall for sure, but you'll receive great service. I had a great experience with service both with the actual tattoo and paperwork. The minimum here is $40 which was impressive to me as I've payed $50 for an even smaller tattoo. Empire will definitely hook you up. They know what they're talking about and what they're doing.
