He sat me down and started working on me for my fill, and halfway through working on me he switched me to another person. I was fine with it, but not the greatest first impression or service but no big deal. The other gentleman who worked on me, took his time, and we didn't talk much, but I felt like my overall experience was just average. I paid about $45 plus $10 tip for these and I feel just meh about it. The overall atmosphere of the place looks clean but no one else talked at all when I was there and it didn't seem like any of the employees were super thrilled to be there. If you need just a quick fill, this place is fine but don't expect anything extra like a hand massage or towels. He just put cuticle oil on me and called it good. There are plenty of good nail salons out there. I would spend my money elsewhere. I don't think I'll be back.

She spends nearly an hour meticulously applying powder, shaping, buffing, and adding lacquer, but refuses to let my nails cure under the light lamp for more than 60 seconds. As a result, the lacquer starts peeling within a day or two. The ONLY time this doesn't happen is when Mia gets distracted, and I sneak extra time under the lamp--then the lacquer lasts 2-3 weeks! This issue persists whether she uses my own lacquer or the salon's. I typically get one layer, but last time, Mia insisted the peeling was due to using just one layer. So, I let her apply two layers, which made things worse. The thicker coating needed even more curing time, but she still limited it to 60 seconds, pulling the lamp away and saying, "That's enough." By the time I got home, the lacquer was already peeling! The acrylic base holds up for up to 3 weeks, but it's pointless if the lacquer doesn't last 3 days! I'm glad one of the reviews mentioned that it is located inside the grocery store because I would have missed it. This is a mom & pop salon with personalized & caring service. I was able to get have my pedicure immediately by the husband who was very good with attention to my toes; I'm a chef and on my feet for 8 -12 hrs and need my toes trimmed a certain way. He did great with no instructions and took his time. When his wife was done with the manicure she had been working on when I arrived; she polished my toe nails and did my manicure. I she gave me a nice hand massage, although I didn't get polish. It was a nice peaceful place with good magazines to read (however I didn't have glasses ‍). It is drive for me but I will definitely be a repeat customer. If you like a lot of fancy nails, etc I can't tell you about that because I'm a simple manicure & pedicure with pampering dashed in & regular polish on my toes. I got what I love! They had only been open 2 months prior to my knowing, but I am a new fan and customer. One of the cool things is that Alex( husband) does pedicures! Any hoo... The place is small but quaint, wonderfully decorated with all new supplies and equipment. They didn't have the color purple I wanted the 1st time, but they did the 2nd time! Because they are small, they treat everyone like friends and family. Although the designs are not readily visible, they can do designs, just ask. I hope to see you guys there one of these days.
