[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is such a cute date night spot or a family dinner gathering.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We always have our littles with us and Cynthia helped us out so much with love and grace. Our youngest was having a hard time & she saw that so she gave us some cheesy bread to calm him. Thankful for that! Pizza, wings & fries were so yummy. Will never order from this place again. I went to the Hot Pie website and placed an order not knowing I was ordering through Chow Now. The pizza sat in the store for 20 minutes while a driver was being located. The store said I should cancel through Chow Now. Chow Now said I should call the store. Nobody will stand behind their product/process and we are left with a pizza that came out of the over 45 minutes ago. read more

I never write a review, but this meal that was delivered was the worst I've ever had..EVERYTHING WAS ICE COLD The salad was so drenched in dressing that it couldn't be picked up with a fork . the Italian ? sandwich was a regular ham sandwich, no cheese, salami or ANYTHING just ham, lettuce and tomato and mayonnaise and so soggy we couldn't eat it. the pepperoni and sauce on the pizza was tasteless. we threw it out. we wouldn't even offer it to our doorman. read more

Excellent thin crust pizza from a coal-fired oven! We had a margarita pizza that was done just right. Hot Pie calls it "Johnny's New Yorker. They have a coal-fired pizza oven, which imho is far superior to electric ovens. They taste so much better. Being from the New Haven area, I might be considered a pizza snob as some of the best pizza places on the planet like Pepe's and Sally's are based there. I'm not saying Hot Pie is in that class, but they are solid. read more

I ate here last week. Instead of putting the total cost I wrote on my receipt clear as day, they changed it and added to the waitresses tip. I also have pictures of the receipt as I do with ALL my business receipts. Its a joke that $10 tip is not good enough on a $40 bill that they steal from me, a customer. Not alot of money, but when its a business expense and some a-hole steals some from you it messes up your books. read more

Not a bad pizza. Had half plain and half Pepperoni. Had to try as Dave Portnoy gave it a 7.5 I feel it was just a little better than that. I miss my NJ Pizza, but this place will do for now. Only if it were just a little more firm. Great Crust though. I'll definitely go back again. read more

Yesterday a hot pie pizza delivery driver nearly ran me off the road. When I called the business to speak to a supervisor, I was told there was none and hung up on. When I called back they told me the driver was the owner!!! Makes a lot of sense, all complaints on here are about management. We stop by here a lot after work and pizza is some of the best in Palm Beach! I personally like the white pizza, but all of their food is good. The drinks are good too, and the staff and service is always friendly and welcoming! Almost everything on the menu is excellent, kind of like your favorite New York Pizza pub. They have comfortable booths inside, window seats if you want to be in the air conditioning and seating inside, or outside seating. Stopped in for the business lunch special (two cheese slices and a salad). But saw Johnny's New Yorker pie go to another table and had to pivot. Was very glad I did. The dough was flavorful and had a nice crisp. The San Marzanno sauce was sweet and delicious. One of the better coal fired pies I've had in the area. read more

My husband and I came across this place while heading to check out the Clematis Street restaurants. We decided this place looked more the vibe we were in the mood for, and we're glad we chose it! We had the chicken parmesan, along with a small pizza. Both were excellent. The server/bartender was attentive and kept our beers coming as needed. I eventually received another piece of Mahi Mahi to make up the difference in serving size. The Crunchy Fried Cheesecake was sinfully delightful. The Fried Cheesecake was served with Vanilla Ice Cream, Whipped Cream with a Cherry on top. Overall the experience was ok. The Mahi Mahi was seasoned well. I would definitely get the Crunchy Fried Cheesecake again.

I decided to give this place a second chance on April 18, 2026, with an 8:30 PM reservation, and unfortunately, it was just as bad--if not worse--than my first visit. The service was exceptionally poor. Our waiter, Michael, set the tone early, and not in a good way. It took over an hour just to receive our appetizers, and drink refills required tracking down other staff members. What stood out most was the complete lack of attentiveness--Michael never once checked in on our table throughout the evening. The delay was so excessive that I was able to leave the restaurant, walk across the street, purchase a new set of clothes for my daughter, return, and have her change--all before our main course even arrived. To be clear, this wasn't out of convenience--it was out of necessity. The restaurant was so excessively hot that she was visibly uncomfortable and overheating. To make matters worse, water was served at room temperature in what felt like a furnace of a dining room. We actually had to ask multiple times--and essentially beg--just to get ice brought to the table. That alone speaks volumes about the level of awareness and care. Dining out is supposed to be a relaxing, enjoyable experience--especially after an evening out--but this was anything but. The food itself was underwhelming at best: mediocre, forgettable, and certainly not worth the wait. What was most disappointing, however, was the apparent inconsistency in service. From my observation, certain tables--specifically white families--received noticeably more attention and care, while others, including Hispanic, Asian, and African-American patrons, were largely overlooked. As part of an interracial family, this was both disheartening and unacceptable to witness. I've had great experiences at other locations of this restaurant, which makes this visit even more frustrating. This location, however, falls far below standard. To the management and staff: you're in a high-traffic area where guests come to unwind and enjoy their time. This experience did the exact opposite. To their credit, the salmon was removed from the bill and an alternative dish was offered. However, the overall experience still fell far short of what should be expected at this price point and reputation level. There's a reason establishments like The Capital Grille or Flagler Steakhouse have earned reputations for professionalism and customer care. I saw a diner asked to leave by the owner because the diner did nothing more than express disdain for tRump and the debacle of the past four years. It seems this pizza joint is a great place for bigots but I'll not be going there again and will discourage everyone I meet to stay clear. Mohammed, who works next door at the grocery market (he owns both Tina's Grocery AND Presto Pizza), is a great guy who tries to stock customer favorites. He's listened to multiple suggestions over the decades re: Presto Pizza and Deli, and he's tried hard to give customers what they want. Brothers Pete and Gary have worked in the conjoined stores for as long as I've been going (16 years plus) and are truly hardworking, affable, great guys. The fact they've stayed so long says something very positive about both the market and the pizza/deli restaurant. Keep up the good work! You're a Northwood treasure!
