Today I called at around 1:30 to place a pick up order. The man that answered the phone told me it would be ONE HOUR for a pick up order. He never asked what I wanted to order but quoted me a ONE HOUR wait time. I was literally sitting in my car looking at their dang never EMPTY restaurant as one man stood at the counter to order (he asked for one slice of cheese) and a lady & a man sat at their table eating their food already. So I decide to go inside ... as I walk in, the lady IMMEDIATELY takes my order & the slices are placed in the oven (one slice of cheese and one slice of pepperoni). Another man walked in to order and he was quoted a 25 minute wait as there were no slices available. The man making the pizzas stated they had a big school order so they needed to make more. Completely understood but I was still confused as to why I was quoted an hour rather than 25 minutes. My biggest issue is management (which I'm sure was the man on the phone). When I received my food in under 25 minutes the sweet man behind the counter had given me TWO slices of cheese and TWO slices of pepperoni. He saved the day because I honestly had no intention of EVER returning to this establishment. read more

I. LOVE. TIPPIS. I have been a customer of theirs for close to 20 years now. They simply have the best pizza in the county. I don't know what they do, or why it is so much better than the loads of pizza shops I have tried over the past 2 decades, but I always come back to Tippi's. You really need to give this place a shot and give it a try. They have never disappointed me. Delivery usually arrives quickly and piping hot. Their garlic rolls, dredged in garlicy goodness are also great. And occasionally I order a cold or hot sub, they are absolute quality. The ONLY reason not to order from Tippi's is if they are closed. The pizza is delicious. It's as good as any New York pizza, I had a pepperoni, and it was warm and gooey with a great crust.

We decided on a large pepperoni and sausage pizza but we ate it when we got to our destination. The pizza wasn't even hot and it was still so delicious. The sausage sliced thin like the pepperoni, thinner crust and all toppings were evenly distributed throughout the pizza. Highly recommend trying this place out! New to the area so had to rely on YELP for local pizza. Truth be told my Wife is the tough one to please with pizza - she wont settle for just any dough with sauce & cheese slapped on top. Generics like Dominoes & Pizza Hut won't cut it. Lucked up & found a keeper the 1st time out. Really good pizza for a great price. Got the Large pepperoni pizza (18 inch) & 10 wings combo. My girlfriend has been raving about it for years. Each time she'll call me and tell me all about how it's so amazing, delicious, and perfect in every way, and all I could do was drool at the pictures on my phone. I finally had the chance to try it, and it was OFF THE CHAIN! Perfectly crisp and thin, just the right mix of cheese and sauce, served nice and hot. A trifecta of deliciousness. Tippi's is a real hole in the wall type of place in the corner of their plaza next to busy Okeechobee blvd, so they are easy to miss. Inside there's very limited seating (2 tables and a counter) with the rest filled out with cases of drinks, cooler and pizza boxes. So mainly a take out place. But my goodness they make some exceptional ny style pizza. Right up there with the better places I've tried in Palm Beach county (and I've tried many). Quality ingredients, excellent crust, sauce and cheese cooked just right. Reasonably priced as well. Worth trying if you are in West Palm for sure. read more

I LOVE Buffalo wings but too often they are either breaded or the sauce is lame or the chicken is fatty or all the above... Nope, not at Tippi's! Plan and simple... The restaurant is very small (3 tables, a handful of barstools and a cooler full of drinks). The place is family run and guy who makes the pizzas is nice and friendly. I ordered my pizza with mushrooms. The crust is great- chewy with a crunch and the sauce is sweet. Overall the pizza was good, but I wish the mushrooms were fresh, not from a can. read more
