My friend Lisa suggested we come here after church. I had not had Camilli's since I was a teen living in Lake Park so I was excited to go. We sat in a booth near the video games that kept the kiddos there very entertained. I've only had pizza here but I took a chance on the chicken Caesar salad and it was amazing. After a day of visiting with manatees and thrifting, we needed lunch. To the trusty Yelp app I go! We found this place a few miles from our last stop. They didn't have any pizza out, as it was later in the day, so we got our slices from a fresh pie. That was after we devoured the cheesy garlic bread. The service was also stellar! I would take this review with a grain of salt, we did order a white pizza which was our fault and the wrong move. Camilli's has been a staple of Lake Park since I was in elementary school. The Chicago style pizza is superb and it literally is exactly what one would anticipate form a hole in the wall spot. There is no glitz nor glamour, but the food is consistent and the service has been great the last few times I visited. It is a small establishment and it is kid friendly with a few arcade games and gumball machines. The menus are paper and most of the tableware is disposable. You'll want to ask for the house dressing and dip your crust in it. Sounds crazy, but I highly recommend. I have only ordered pizza and bread here so I can't attest to the quality of the entrées. Although, we did order some meatballs and I rate these average. The pizza is DELISH! Check this place out next time you desire Chicago style pizza or want to support small business and aren't looking for anything fancy. My prayer is all the new and upcoming construction doesn't drive this 50+ year old family business out. read more

I've been going here since tee-ball, and I am now old. lol. This is a family buy and a tradition for Lake Park. This place is a hole in the wall and it is wonderful. We usually get some pizzas with pepperoni, peppers, mushrooms. It's always good. The sausage is even better, try it some time. They have a salad dressing which if you've never tried it, you are missing out. The real insider move here is to put some on the pizza! You'll thank me later. The other dishes are really nice too. My wife enjoys the chicken Parmesan. I e tried it and liked it but I always stick with pizza. I love that thin crust and the small squares. this is not a fancy place. You are here for pizza and beer and a neighborhood feel. Enjoy that. Service is good as you would expect. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I'd say the prices are good but they have gone up like everything else. But it is NOT expensive. It is worth the trip. At the least get a few pies to go and enjoy. read more

This is Chicago style tavern pizza. It is not NY style pizza. If you want NY style go somewhere else. But try it and you will fall in love with it. Been comming here since they opened 50+ years ago and the family has stayed true to Ken's dream. Makes a decent pie it's been a community fixture for years, nothing fancy always get the sausage, peppers and onion pie add good flavor and texture. In all the years Camilli's only disappointed me once a severely undercooked Stromboli but otherwise spot on. The ham Calzone is also quite good usually share it with my wife. Don't do it. Pass by this place immediately. Stopped in for a few slices for lunch and never in my life have I had worse pizza. First, the place is really run down. Now that normally doesn't bother me cause little hole in the walls usually have the best food, however this place manages to veer from that standard. The pizza and I hesitate to even call it that, was tasteless, flavorless, red liquid and cheese served on top of a pizza crust that was reminiscent of thin cardboard. Two bites and no taste. Even the extra Parmesan cheese and red pepper I added could do nothing to improve this disgusting thing in front of me. I literally just left it on the table and walked out. I wanted to love this pizza but didn't. However I do like the laid back atmosphere. It feels like a hole in the wall place, with friendly service. They have an arcade area for kids but a lot of the games ate their coins. The pizza crust was overcooked and crunchy. Cannoli was good but the pizza was very bland, I ended up being very heavy handed with the red pepper, oregano and garlic to give it any flavor. The service at Camilli has gotten just disgusting. It's unbelievable. They stay in business and be this rude to customers. The only reason I go is for the pizza. And it's just not worth it anymore. I had a half a pizza left, which I plan to take home. I went up to use the restroom and when I came back, she had thrown my pizza out. I paid for a whole pizza. I asked her what happened to the other half of my pizza she just said oh sorry I threw that out. Why would I ask for her to go box if I'm gonna throw it out? She just completely dismissed it. I ordered 2 slices of meat's lovers , 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of pepperoni. My two boys (8 and 10) devoured the slices in 3 minutes. The older boy asked for seconds and that is not his usual behavior for pizza! Reasonably priced. Great atmosphere.
