My son Aarik wanted to go here and at first I thought it was a bit demonic but it is actually very nice and the staff(who might I add had a lot of piercings and tattoos) were very nice. My son found some tee shirts and the best part were they game me ALOT of coupons and I love coupons 10/10 would recommend for all ur tee shirt needs. I even I got a hip new tee shirt because I'm a cool mom my son Aarik got a shirt with a band on it called My chemistry romantic or something like that so I think it's something about science which is good school is very important and he liked it a lot I will definitely be bringing him back here! read more

Management and staff were rude during transaction. She threw my change in my hand and was very rude prior to that. Hot topic used to be run by inviting staff and awesome metal heads that you wouldn't think had an ounce of hospitality. This place has turned into a neglectful staff let alone snarky one. No one asks you if you need help, no one invites you in (like old times). Not to mention while I was there she answered the phone to a customer (the manager...mini manager) and was very inappropriate with him. I will never visit at this location and if I do, expect a complaint because this place is at the bottom of common courtesy and we all know that in order to have a business the customers are the ones that fund this business so therefore treat our customers right. I would rather give this location a negative star but this app requires at least one. Fail. read more

I read the other reviews and so I was a little anxious about coming in to pick up my site to store order on a busy Saturday afternoon. I had nothing to fear however because from the moment my husband and I arrived we were greeted warmly by Hunter and within seconds was asked if I needed help with anything. I showed Spencer my pick up order email and they promptly went to the back room and retrieved my order happily. No muss, no fuss. Allegra, the manager also opened the package to make sure there was nothing wrong with my order. My husband also received great service with the particular Funko he was looking for. Allegra was the rudest person I have ever met at this location. I was standing by the shirts and she proceeds to tell me very rudely that it was the return line and I told her I wasn't even in line. I asked her a question about a sale and she acted like it was a big deal for me to ask, she was very rude about it and treated me like I was stupid. I go to the line to tell the cashier how rude Allegra was and I was not given an apology or anything. I told Gabe about how rude Allegra was and was told that it was a busy Saturday. Not a good experience and will not be shopping at this location again, I'll just buy online. read more

When you walk into this store, located in Baybrook Mall, it's quite obvious that the hot topic here is T-shirts. Walls of T-shirts. You'll find a plethora of themes on the T- shirts, as well. Any theme you may or may not want is available here. From cool classic rock and metal bands to wimpy tween bands, the choice for music lovers is vast. If you're a fan of shows like Archer, South Park, The Simpsons and Family Guy then you're in the right place. Sons of Anarchy fan? They've got you covered. Shirts with tasteless quotes that are desperately reaching for coolness but at most only register a snicker? Check. You'll even find cute tees for kids among the adult themed apparel. The arrangement of clothing reaches almost to ceiling with some of the shirts in bins along the side wall and displays towards the front of the store. This store carries a variety of sizes and seems to be well stocked. It was fun looking at all the tees and even reading the aforementioned classless quote ones. The tees featuring my favorite band of all did catch my eye as well as some really neat themes of other bands I like and some TV shows. I'm not a T-shirt wearer except for when working out but these were cool with interesting designs. I like them. Hard workouts and walks now have an element of coolness other than health and fitness. The quality is decent and the tees seem to hold up after multiple heavy washes post workout. The prices are not expensive and the store has sales here and there. The employees were very friendly to us and lines moved efficiently for the holiday season. Other items are offered besides tees. I did see pins, character themed phone cases, phone button stickers, adorable plushies, toys and themed baseball caps. Even of T-shirts are not your thing or style, you can find something here even if just for working out or comfy wear for around the house. The shirts and other items can be small gifts for close friends and family. It's not a store I imagined I'd be interested in for myself but I was surprised. So I shop at this location (so they know me by name) a lot and I've never had a problem before, but today was bullshit, I go and I'm the only person in the store so the manager and assistant manager whatever you wanna call her know I am there, they proceed to start talking shit about me, they even use my name, now OK I get it what employee hasn't talked shit about a customer before, the thing that bothers me is that the manager knowing full well the person she's talking about is in the store still proceeds to say (very loudly)rude and hurtful things about them and that is not OK, I will not step foot into that store ever again! read more

I have never dealt with someone so rude. I stopped by to pick up a few items and immediately got attitude from a cashier. The receipt says Christina (very fair with thick black eye liner). She gave me an attitude for not wanting to take part in some special they were running and started to give me a nasty tone. Instead of just handing me back the card, she decides to place it down in front of her so I would have to reach across the counter. The most unprofessional service I have ever received. A girl called her out about it earlier and Christina acted so surprised as if she didn't know what she was doing. Oh please. It's Hot Topic. It's not that serious.
