I came here shopping a couple of weeks ago for a friend's birthday and had the unfortunate time of being "helped" by Chloe. I will never return to this store because of this associate. I know I am not the typical age of someone who would frequent this store, but I would not expect that to be pointed out multiple times but it was by Chloe. My son wanted to go shopping! After eating dinner at a ramen restaurant, we decided to stop by Meadows Mall. It was a Thursday evening, around 6 p.m., when we had entered Meadows Mall. It was fairly empty. Meadows Mall is located in Las Vegas, off of the 95/Valley View exit. There are plenty of parking spots available. We entered Meadows Mall through Macy's, on the second level. Hot Topic is located fairly close to the Macy's, on the second level. It's been a while since I've stopped inside a Hot Topic. I think the last time I was inside Hot Topic was at the Galleria Mall location in Las Vegas. I ended up getting a Dragon Ball Z themed workout outfit. This Hot Topic location was fully packed with a wide variety of apparel. I was in awe at how much anime themed clothing there was! I saw a lot of Jujitsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Naruto, Sailor Moon, and One Piece. There also was a lot of Hello Kitty merchandise. There was purses, backpacks, jewelry, clothing, and so much more! I even saw a cross-over shirt that was Hello Kitty and Attack on Titan themed! While I was looking at the Studio Ghibli themed memorabilia, my son was looking at necklaces for his girlfriend. I ended up purchasing a My Neighbor Totoro purse. It's super cute! We had so much fun shopping inside Hot Topic! It's changed a lot from when I used to shop inside Hot Topic. Back when I was a teenager, I remember Hot Topic used to sell lots of Lava Lamps! Prices weren't too bad. There was a semi-annual sale on going! read more

Great customer service, I had two shirts that I ordered online and decided that it wasn't what we wanted. Decided to come here to swap out the shirt for other shirts. Easy trade just picked two shirts that we Liked and the switch was super fast easy and convenient. There is always a special being ran typically they do 30% off or more. Hot cash isn't going on right this moment but when you purchase now you can keep the hot cash for when they run that special. Large variety of t shirts, bands, anime, Disney and just random things but great selection of knickknacks and apparels. read more

Decently-sized Hot Topic location with a items not found at other stores. On my last visit one employee restocking a shelf greeted me, but the other two employees at the cash registers (without customers) didn't say anything. This store is organized a little differently than other Hot Topics, so take the time to look around. read more

Possibly the worst service I've even encountered in a Hot Topic. The manager is just blatantly rude, the store is a consistent mess, and don't anticipate a return or exchange. Nonetheless, we purchased eight Pops for a children's charity event in town. The event was cancelled due to a lack of RSVPS. We had nothing to do with the figures except return them. We don't collect. Walked in, had to wait fifteen minutes just to get to the register. We happen to meet the manager and attempted to make a return. He said no. Not even a polite, "sorry this is our policy" no. It's was more of a "get out I'd rather not deal with you" no. Okay fine. Not a huge deal. Everyone has bad days. I'm sure we can find something else around here to suit our interests. Exchange? No. My fiancé proceeded to ask an employee why they would not allow returns or exchanges, to which he replied "people like you try to return those all the time". People. Like. Us. I don't even know what that means. Does he mean 5'1" girls in college trying to buy/return prizes that were for a cancelled children's event? Or agitated fiancé's who look like they want to throw you out a window? "Because you had intentions of re-selling them, we will not take them back at all." As though you could look at me and stake a claim about what I do with my life? Or insinuate (not even insinuate just blatantly say) that I would do something despite never having met me? Never coming back here. There are plenty of Hot Topics in this town with great customer service. Galleria, Boulevard, Outlets, Fashion Show. I'd recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

I like Hot Topic. They have all the Alice stuff a crazily obsessed Wonderland nerd could ask for. They also have oodles of Disney, Hello Kitty, and Cartoon Network before it was kinda lame. I just get a little creeped out by the employees. I think that they're going to sneak up behind me while I'm marvelling at a Cheshire Cat shirt and stab me with a Jack Skellington pin (it's OK because I like Jack). Also, it isn't properly lit in most locations, and that is safety hazard, my friend. It also gives you a goth reputation for some reason. If you second that notion, go onto their website and look at their "The Little Mermaid" shirts. So give the store chance. You'll probably find something you like. read more

Went to the store looking for funko pops, the lady at the door was very rude and non welcoming . So I carried on shopping looking for pops, a worker by the name of frank was so helpful !! I wanted the DC Christmas collection of funko pops ( I found the ones I wanted but the boxes were damaged and wanted better quality ) and frank suggested I asked the lady by the door to check if they had it outside in there little pop stop area, again she was very rude and non helpful, she just said they didn't have it anymore didn't even offer to check if they had it in the back . I went inside a little disappointed started looking at the wall again, Frank then offered to check the back which had many of the pops I wanted . He is truly amazing and his customer service was great !!! Frank is the only reason why I'm giving 5 starts !! read more

10-20-17~Not a place I would typically shop but they were the only place in town with the walking dead bat I needed. I've been in here with my daughter several years ago. I remembered the music being screaming and loud. Not the case this time. Looked around for kicks. Nothing else I would buy in this store. But cool to browse around. Staff was very nice. They were training a couple newbies while I was in there. Store is tight n kinda crowded feeling but they have a small space to start with. Very clean store. Lots of concert t-shirts. Can't say I would come back. But I can see why younger folks like the store. :) read more

Hot Topic used to be about the music. Now, they're about what's "in". This particular location is weird. The people who work there are less than helpful and any time I walk in, I feel like I'm being watched. Plus, recently, they've pretty much shut off the lights, so it's extremely dark in there. All around the merchandise is on the expensive side but that's a given personally I like Hot Topic but this particular location has been giving me problems lately. The last few times I've gone they've been so packed it's ridiculous, with 3 people working at the register but only one serving people the line is atrocious then you get to the front and find that the cashier is new and has no ides what they're doing. And this is only one complaint. Next ordering and going for pick up is a major production. The took over 20 minutes to find me package on back storage. And calling up to find out if your package has arrived is not a good idea they put me on hold for over 15 minutes then when I called back the line was continuously busy. I called back 2 hours later and was told to hold right away only to wait 5 minutes then the hung up on me. I have been a regular at this particular location for years now and the service has gone way down. I've never been pushy or arrogant just the patient customer happy when I get what I asked for and not thrown aside like trash but that seems to be what this location has become,pretty trashy. I think I'll be discontinuing my loyalty to this branch of Hot Topic. read more

i needed to return a couple items at this location, there was a girl w/ pink hair who was very friendly, but she had to direct me to this guy, who i assumed is the manager, he was so overbearing and rude and didn't listen to what i wanted to do, which was to return the items, he kept telling me that i should look around to see if i want anything else and then he will do it all in one transaction, i told him i just wanted to return the items, and he insisted again that i look around and he would take care of it in one transaction, after going back and forth a couple more times, i told him that i don't want anything else in your store and to just give me my money back. i don't plan on going back to that store read more
