This is a popular store. We are on the cusp of "Back To School" so many of other families were also shopping here yesterday afternoon, like us. Two weeks away for Clark County. We checked three areas, two areas for our stringbean, the backpacks and the boys clothing, and the Kitchen aisles. He couldn't decide on the backpacks- $10.99 and $12.99 (Super Mario), so we passed on them. But we found two tops, one Super Mario t-shirt and a nice button down shirt for $5.99. I also found a bento like container for $2.99. The aisles were well-stocked, the store was clean, nothing was messy, and the line for checkout was not that bad. It was a few minutes to wait. If you are in the area, I would say this is worth a visit. read more

My son wanted toys on a whim and I didn't want to drive too far into town. Ended up at ROSS. They had a decent selection of toys. Good enough for my son. Left with a Paw Patrol Game and a Disney Figurine Set. Both were inexpensive and made my son happy during our trip. He's happy, I'm happy. People of Ross should be a thing. If you ever get bored and need to get some steps in, just wander around here. At first glance, this store may seem like any other standard Ross. Fairly organized chaos and bargain finds. Here's where it gets interesting. Within 5 seconds of walking in, I saw the manager kick out a lady for shoplifting and tell her "don't ever come back to my store again". While navigating through the store, I saw some teenagers attempting to try on briefs OVER their jeans. While in line for the checkout, I met a hilarious lady who gave me prime advice on how to find the best places to shop for deals. The checkout aisle is a trap that is lined with snacks and sweets. This probably the most interesting experience I have ever had at Ross, and I was only there for about 10 minutes. Loved the customer service and all the nice people i met today. read more

Didja notice at Ross that all of them have a security guard greeting at the door? Why don't the other discount department stores have one? Are people that bad intentioned? Anyway, great for the security and safety during our shopping experience; thank you for having security on site. I guess we'll never know... that "last one" item on the shelf that someone was eyeing on, and somebody else picks it up to purchase might cause a drama syndrome. I visited this location the day after Black Friday. Pleased to find how kept and organized things were considering the holiday shopping rush has begun. All the general gift stuff were up in the front on tables near the registers. Very neat and orderly section. I call it the fun stuff: perfume or cologne sets, bath/shower sets, cocktail mixes, chocolate box towers, trinket/jewelry boxes... Exciting! I was there to checkout their holiday decorations and get some ideas. I ended up getting big baby girl a stylish jacket for Christmas. For me it was an awesome find. It looked like the last one left and clearance tagged. Heck yes! I know she'll like it. All the zippers worked and I didnt find any faulty stitching. Hahaaa! Does anyone else do inspections when they shop? I recommend it. This store has well stocked shelves and hangers of things. Everywhere a thing thing! I used to love shopping at this Ross. This review is based on my today's visit. Assoc: 2127615 needs to improve his customer service and attitude. He accidentally took of a price tag from a suitcase I bought and denied to my face that he did it. I asked him nicely to reattach it in case I need to return it but he said he won't. I asked to speak with the manager who fixed the simple problem. She did not apologize. I'd love to see a more enthusiastic team here just like next door in Bath and body works. I usually go to this Ross and sometimes find awesome deals on sandals! It's near my home, so it's definitely convenient and they always seem to have new inventory. I don't find gems every time I shop, I wish I did... but this place still has some really nice clothing that you can get for the low! read more

Re: Assoc #208956 (female, high heel tattoo on inside of her right lower arm) Upon entry I was greeted by security that stands by the door. I was shopping and kept encountering a young male employee. NO EYE CONTACT OR GREETING OR ASKING IF HE COULD ASSIST. I thought perhaps he's just having an "off" day. I then stood in line tor 5 minutes to be checked out (NOBODY ELSE WAS IN LINE. there were 4 employees behind the register area. All were badmouthing a customer LOUDLY. When I finally got to the register. The female associate DIDN'T SAY HI OR MAKE EYE CONTACT. She then decided to tell me there were no large plastic bags and could she place everything in a fragile basket I was purchasing. I requested she use bags, she became visibly annoyed. Assoc #208956 then proceeded to stuff EVERYTHING into 1 small plastic bag. I had to instruct her to use multiple bags. She was then unable to price some fitness items and was calling out arbitrary prices. I am glad that CC was there to assist. I have shopped here often and this is the WORST customer service I ever experienced. I would like a follow-up on what was done to correct the employee. No follow up provided by Ross. I love Ross very much and today I want to congratulate management on hiring a beautiful gal named RHODA. She was in the dressing room and was very thorough in checking everyone's items for security she was so very nice and genuine. In all honesty she made my shopping g experience better. I noticed the things people did not want to purchase, she was still polite even though it adds to her job. Rhoda has an awesome attitude and as a business owner myself, this employee is a Godsend. I hope management informs this beautiful girl of her exceptional customer service. She deserves it! read more

Amazed that I've never reviewed one of my favorite Ross locations in town. Being centrally located in Boca Park and close to my former Pilates Studio, I've spent many hours and $$$$ here over the years. It just seems more "together" than other Ross choices and I've had incredible luck with one-of-a-kind finds: from designer clothes, shoes, rare purses, Pilates, Yoga BOSU and workout gear to baby, toddler and children's clothes and toys. And yes, MANY Hello Kitty scores for me or those keeping an eye out for me. It definitely reflects the neighborhood and carries more high end merchandise than locations a few miles away. Even their housewares from kitchen to furnishings eclipse other locales. It is a favorite spot for Mom and me to wile away the hours and meet up later to share our "finds." Definitely worth a visit for professional women who seek separates or need to buy suits that require extensive alteration. Much less expensive to buy that designer classic, have it altered to fit perfectly and still come in at half (or less) than you would at nearby boutiques. Seriously a place I adore, whether looking for Dead Sea Body Mud packs or Calvin Klein shoes, pillows, hose or clothing. They also have an amazing selection of high end (not just high TC) linens and I love that if I just need King pillow cases = Boom! The only reason I hold back 5* is because check out can take a lonnnng time as can jewelry counter help. I shop at this Ross when I need to find a quick gift for someone. It seems to have a nicer selection in their housewares section than most of their stores in Vegas.....so, when I'm in a pinch and need a gift, I stop here. The store is relatively clean compared to some of the other ones in town. It does get very busy though and the lines can be atrocious. Not much else to say about the store....it's a Ross. My Husband and I was in this Ross today to pick up a few things and as were are walking through the store this man was there wherever I was. I went to candles, linens, kitchenware, shoes, everywhere I was he popped up! I found my husband and told him what was going on at first we thought it was LP (loss prevention) in that case ok he was doing his job I guess but as we were walking through he kept getting closer and closer to me. We reached the cashiers and my husband went up to the guy in the front with a "loss prevention" vest on and some how could no comprehend what my husband was trying to tell him! He was saying "what? What happened? Where is he?" My husband pointed directly at the guy to the security guy and low and behold the guy following me made a bee line straight out the front door! HOW CREEPY! Some weirdo just following woman around the store and loss prevention or cameras don't catch this crap???? Never again will I go to this Ross I want to be safe when shopping not stalked but some weirdo! This Ross location is so nice and clean compared to their east side locations. And the prices aren't competitive, they're marked the same as the other locations. But this store is so much more cleaner, or at least cleaned faster than the other Ross stores. I like this location because when I go to the gun range at Desert Sportsman I can drop my lady friends here to shop around for an hour or so rather than stand around in the hot sun raining bullets at a target. I've also been known to stop by and grab some targets at this store before heading to the range! read more

A nice place to find brand name clothes and accessories without breaking your bank too much. They have a whole assortment of sorts: from shirts, pants, shoes to watches, earrings, sunglasses, really most of what you'll find at department stores but the prices do make a difference for the brands youd find. You do have to do some scouring a bit for these brands so if anything, it's kind of like an upscale thrift store. One thing I didnt like though is that none of the staff were helpful or knowledgeable about their store or products, so maybe it's just this particular location. read more

I never leave empty handed when I come to this particular Ross. Today was a special day compared to other visits. I came to try to find a cotton hoodie and had no luck, but I left with something better. I browsed the handbag section and was surprised to find a Fossil leather cross-body bag originally $128 for $69 with no flaws. Wow!!! What was awesome about this purchase was that I've been waiting for about 8 months to purchase this bag from Zappos and Fossil online and by the time I decided to buy, it was sold out. So this find was pretty amazing for me. The cashiers were friendly and the store was nice, clean and well organized and this was simply an awesome experience for me. I went to Ross this morning to try on clothes and the women working at the dressing room was too worried about her phone that I was sitting there just waiting to be helped. The fact that this happened to me only shows the stores lack in choice for who they hire. This is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Came here as a last minute desperate act to find my two year old a dress. Yes, I will admit that I'm a procrastinator. Before this I had gone to Baby Gap, Target, and Walmart.. this was my last resort. Luckily this time it worked out. Walking in it was busy and I was dreading having to check out since there was a line. I practically ran to the back kids section. Sadly there was a very limited amount. I about died. Luckily two dresses popped out of the about 10 they had left. I was looking for a red one but sadly I was SH*T out of luck. Oh well. I guess the three generational picture we are taking tomorrow will have to be altered a bit. The first dress had tags that said 29.99 and was for 8.99. YES, thank you! It was a beautiful 3T black dress with a grey blue bottom and tie. Instantly fell in love with it and knew it would go perfect with my great grandmothers pearls. Next, I saw a gorgeous cream, black and gold plaid dress. It screamed buy me and I just couldn't say no. The tags on this one said 39.99 and it was at ross for 9.99. What a deal! Def was in shock. Running to the check out line, I stood their for ten minutes which gave me a chance to check out a few other items for a birds eye view. In distance I could see some guess bags for 15 bucks, normally 45. A couple dresses that were business oriented half priced. Cashiers were friendly, fast and efficient. When im not in a rush, running like a chicken with a head cut off I will come back to check out the amazing prices and cute clothes. read more

Browsing on my lunch I decided to check out the clothes section which I never really do often here. I usually like their home stuff. It seemed the clothing selection was very sparce. Like large empty spaces in between items. Perhaps its because they just opened a new location just up the road? There is always a lot of people here. So much that they have the roped off zig zag where the line goes just like you were at an amusement park. LOL. I honestly don't get the hype as this is just an "on occasion" kind of store for me. Maybe I am missing something? lol Ross has a little bit of everything (in case you haven't been here-but really who hasn't?). They carry men/women/children clothes and shoes, perfume, jewelry, purses, and housewares. Some of their items are name brand I believe to be outdated and/or discontinued. "Dress for Less" is their logo which means everything is at a discounted price. The tags say what the real price is along with the marked down price. Wait a minute - that's it! Its TRICKERY of the mind! That's the hype. I don't know but it sure sways me to see something discounted. ;) Ross Stores are always a hit and miss with me. This time I found a dress and two shirts (which is rare) and I bought some Kitchenaide bright yellow scissors. Total was under $40. Not too bad I must say. I think I might check out the new one down the way soon. Doesn't really make much sense that they are a few blocks away from each other however I'm betting the new one to be a much nicer one. Is it possible to enter a Ross and end up walking out empty handed? I guess so. This is definitely my hit or miss location. The lack of consistency in their inventory is the only reason why I rank them lower. I can go to this one and find nothing, just to go to another store and score. Maybe since it is in such a nice area, most people scoop up the bounty before I can set eyes on them. There is a plethora of stores around this area. I won't be discouraged. One of the stores that my wife and I like to go to and browse the racks. Once in a while a good pair of shoes (DC or Adidas) show up and I pounce on them! This store has some good selections when it comes to clothes. I used to be one of those people that didn't know what Ross was or even care to know. Luckily, I married one savvy girl and she had shown me the light! The place is usually clean and the clothes is in order. There are a pair of twin brothers I believe that work here and they seem to LOVE their job. It's nice to see that and they actually make the place more enjoyable to shop in. read more

One of the cleanest Ross stores that I've been to! But then again, it IS in located in Summerlin. Anyway, I love Ross! Why? Because it's cheap and it isn't overpriced. You can find the very same styles here that they have at other "high-end" stores like Forever 21. Instead of buying that $30 shirt, you can find something similar here for around $8 or less! I bought 15 items from this store the other day for LESS than $100. LESS! I would've paid OVER $100 if I went to another store. I leave here happy almost every time, and you bet I'll be coming back again! read more

Celine was so helpful tonight! Starting a couple weeks ago, I started buying about a billion pairs of shoes among 5 different stores for a wedding outfit (to decide which pair I would keep and then I would take back all the rest). When a price tag is on the bottom of shoes, I gently remove it as to not destroy the bar code before walking around the house to try them out before I commit (note to self: don't do this in the future). For a pair of TJ Maxx shoes, I had to separate the shoes that had that bungee thingy keeping them together which also had the tag on it. After I tried on all the shoes I inadvertently switched the two tags. I was SOOOO sure I put the tags on the correct shoes that when I tried to return the wrong shoes to Ross, I was kind of pissy with the staff (sorry !!) Celine was called over to intervene and she looked up the security camera footage to settle it. I thought for sure she was going to be wrong and I was right. Welllll, I wasn't. The footage was still too fuzzy to see what the other pair actually was but you could tell it definitely wasn't the shoes I had brought. Still in disbelief I tried to walk around the store to see if they had the same pair of shoes I had brought in. Embarrassed when I couldn't find anything that looked like mine on the racks, I went home and grabbed every pair I purchased that looked somewhat like what was on the camera (with my tail between my legs no doubt). Before I left, though, Celine very patiently told me what marker color/what number to look for on the bottom of the shoes. I brought 3 pairs of shoes that looked like they might match her marker description/security camera footage. We finally found it!! It was a ridiculous and embarrassing adventure for me in the world of returns, but if it wasn't for that security camera going back to the exact date and time of my purchase (and Celine's patience) PROVING it to me I was wrong...I would have been one snippy upset lady! Lessons learned tonight: I am not always right -- I have been humbled, and don't take the tags off shoes if you can possibly avoid it so you don't look like an a$$ clown at stores! Haha! Sweet baby hayzeus! ROOOOSSSSS!!! So, I've been to many a Ross, and lemme tell you THEY ARENT ALL EQUAL!! This store is a lot cleaner and a little more "put together" but I hate how people dont know how to organize a line! Anyway, I basically super like this store!! Since I'm a fatty I'm always trying to find cute clothes... its a hit or miss. Since I pretty tattooed I like to normally wear solids. Here they have a shit ton of flowers, and patterns which are no bueno for me!! But I usually find 1 or 2 things I heart. Yesterday I got a teal colored dress and a cute belt I can put under my boobies (Sorry laymen terms, haha) and my son got a Tron toy. All these tresures for only 27$!! I like that they have a bigger selection of my man size 9 shoes here!! Alas, half are high heels (Fat girls in heels are a no no!! I dont care if youre a fatty and say you can rock them, you know you're ass is too heavy to be supported on some damn heels!! Quit lying! HAHAHA) I usually find really cute flats and socks! They have a pretty decent selection of kids clothes as well! My son is small, so hes in a 5t to a small (hes 5 going on 6) and I always find him some CUTE clothes!! If you know me, my son does not dress like a busted ass kid! I hate when I see moms all dressed up and theyre kids look like a hot ass mess!! This is the closest Ross to my house which means it's the one I hit most often. The selection isn't bad for plus sizes but I do wish that section had more options. Quite a few options if you don't need 2x or up. read more

I love this particular Ross! I'm always finding great finds here, not to mention that this is pretty much the only Ross in Vegas where I'm able to find plentiful size 0 and 2!!!! First time at this location even though it's right near my home. Definitely my new favorite store! It was clean, and there was a lot of merchandise, including plenty of clothing items in my size (which is rare!) The Loss Prevention/Greeter was very kind when I entered and asked her a location. I walked around the entire store, passing about 5 employees and each one of them said hello to me. The woman near the fitting rooms helped me get a cart since my arms were full. And another employee helped me find a serving tray that I was looking for. It also wasn't crowded, which was really nice. There was a bit of a line but they moved it along quickly. read more
