Material is great and most sizes are true to there sizes. I wished they had kid sizes, the smallest they have is XS and that is huge on my 7 year old daughter. I buy pretty much all my shirts from Hot Topic. Material and size is a huge thing for me. I don't dry my shirts but sometimes if my husband or oldest does laundry and accidentally a shirt gets thrown in the dryer, the color doesn't fade, the size is still accurate it doesn't shrink and if it would by chance feel snug you take your fist inside your shirt about mid way and push forward helps loosen the shirt without it looking to stretched out. I also shop a lot here because they always have Hot Cash and $15 off of $50. There is always great deals so you can get more bang for your buck. I shop alot online but occasionally a shirt won't be something the hubby or kids really care for or the size isn't what they want so we will stop at the store. After multiple visits here I have to bump it up to 5 stars for this place! Every single time I come here I get exceptional customer service. Not good service, but GREAT service. The 2 young ladies working this morning/afternoon went above and beyond every reasonable expectation I had today to try and help me find certain Pops I was looking for. Honestly though, it's like that every time I come here. Their prices are easily the best in Downtown Summerlin and very competitive with most other places I've been to AND they carry many exclusives. This is fantastic for an avid collector such as myself! Plus when you sign up to their "Guest List" club, you get many great discounts AND they allow you to stack some discounts together (there are some limits to this though). I've been itching to get some new plugs! I randomly decided to check out Hot Topic's selection while in Downtown Summerlin and found that they had gauges on clearance AND were on a Buy One, Get One for $1 Promotion. An employee was at the ready to pluck my new earrings from the locked case and even helped me determine which gauges to buy just by eye-balling my lobes lol. Looks like a 2 and a 6, she said. She was right on the money! My new plugs are a perfect fit. For two sets on plugs, I only paid $12 + change. That's an awesome price! I love Hot Topic. They have many great clothes for those who are into the alternative style. They also have different categories such as Sanrio, Nirvana, Slipknot, anime, Harry Potter, etc. It's a small store, so be prepared to run into a few people. I had also browsed through their website on Sunday, and when I had went in on Monday, they had everything I saw online. I saw some arm fishnets I wanted, but unfortunately there was only one fishnet, instead of two. My only complaints is that some items needed to be restocked, and staff should accommodate customers more. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted, and as I was shopping, I wasn't asked if I'm okay or if I needed anything. Shopping at this location was great. There was a two piece item we were looking for but they only had the bottoms on the right size. So the girl at the cashier, named Amelia, checked online. Online was sold out so she called other Hot Topic locations until one of them had the top on the right size. She asked them to hold it for us so that we could go buy it later. Oh my gosh, I love this spot! I went to this Hot Topic for the first time a week or so ago. The first person to check in on me was Brooklyn (super friendly!) & Kendra was amazing! She saw my account was all out of whack, essentially had the wrong info on most slots, either by a few digits or just letters here and there. She ensured we got it taken care of (there was no line or anything so we didn't hold anybody up), but basically Kendra ensured all of my info was up-to-date to give me a piece of mind! The system kept making Kendra re-input the info, and she never got frustrated or anything, we joked about it and she handled it with grace. Anywhere else it would've felt like years, but we got it taken care of and it felt speedy. Also, the store is SUPER organized + not over cluttered or anything! I loved the experience and am stoked to make this location my "go-to" Hot Topic! This newer Hot Topic is a small store next to its companion brand, Torrid. While this place offers quite a lot of items, things are organized in a way that makes browsing a little difficult. Almost everything is hanging high on the walls, normal for a Hot Topic, but with almost nothing at customer-level and lighting that makes it difficult to look at everything high up. I came here looking for a specific item, which I couldn't find. I asked one employee about it, and he politely said he'd ask about it. He consulted with the two employees behind the counter. One of these employees was extremely helpful - she checked stock online, disappeared in the back to look through everything, and then gave me the info for the closest Hot Topic carrying the item. No complaints at all here. However, the other employee simply said they didn't have the item, and that she had "sold the last one herself" recently. When I said I couldn't come back if they ordered it to the store, she just shrugged and then stopped talking to me. read more

Well a while back I was literally being followed throughout the mall and I knew it was heading south so I ran into the store thinking the employees would help me out. But instead he caught up to me and had me up against a wall, about to hit me. Then a worker which I believe was the manger got him off of me but didn't even ask if i was ok or in danger and kicked us both out. This store has a lot of stuffs that is very fun and interesting particularly their disney products. I bought some here for seasonal gifts, they also give discounts and coupons for rewards and repeat customers. The store was jammed pack mostly in December plus tons of products. I feel the staff here are so sick of shoplifters because one of them went up to me and asked if I were shoplifting. I was just browsing the cute pins with my friends and I had a huge jug of water with me. After looking at them, I went over to my other friend across the store and a worker walked over to me. I will give them credit and say that they phrased it very nice but I could tell they were condescending about it. They said "Please put back the pins your friends sneaked into your water bottle" I was confused at first, but after I realized, I opened my bottle to show no pins in there. The worker looked inside and walked away. The only reason i'm mad about it was because they did not said sorry or anything for their mistake, as I was very embarrassed at that moment. I understand a lot of people shoplift there but I hope this was a one time mistake on the worker's part. This does not reflect the merchandise at Hot Topic, as a lot of the graphic tees are very high quality. My friend got a nice Smashing Pumpkins shirt but by the time they were paying for it I already left the store out of embarrassment. read more

Shitty store in such a nice area. Hot topic used to be one of my fave stores. I walked in with and it was crowded as hell. Not as in people... but merchandise.. like no one was buying their products so they're well overstocked. I was pushing a stroller and i could barely go anywhere. Two girls were standing at the register and they didnt say a word to me. No "hi" or "do you need some help?" On July 24th, 2019 I visited this Hot Topic to pick up an order from the internet. I had ordered six or seven different orders and some of them were ready for pickup. When I answered the store there was only one person visibly working in the store. There was one person in line being helped and I was next. When it was my turn the cashier took another customer and even when I pointed out that I was standing there did nothing to help me. Frustrated I walked out and complain the Hot Topics customer service. The customer service then send my complaint to the store. The assistant manager Lex called me and while apologizing was more than happy to cancel my order. Not only was that order canceled but all of them were cancelled quite easily. The manager nor any other employee wanted my money for the merchandise I had bought. I would never recommend this or any other Hot Topic due to their poor customer service. If you have a problem with Hot Topic I promise you they are not going to fix the problem in any way to earn your business back. They'll be more than happy to let you walk. After spending hundreds of dollars over the summer they obviously don't need my money anymore or yours. I will continue to complain to the Hot Topic customer service until I speak to a district manager. I filed a complaint against Hot Topic with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General of Nevada. These poor business practices cannot continue and hurt other customers. read more

Don't trust their sales signs. They will say one thing, but mean something else. Fill a tote and get 25% off anything? Nowhere does it say there are any exclusions and the clerks will just ring it up with out a care. Won't tell you if you take the 25% off of this you will spend more. I do not recommend Hot topic. You think online is safe, but they will sell you something and tell you it is out of stock the next day. If you used the hot topic cash you will not get it back on returns, even though it is not a return/cancelled order, the item was sold without ever being there. read more

We were in the store today , purchased 4 bottles of nail polish. I paid and then the paper receipt ran out on the register. The girl with brown and multi color hair never said anything but you could see she was getting a new roll of paper . We are standing there waiting and waiting and then she finally says all okay. So we start walking away towards the door , I asked my granddaughter did you get the receipt, she said no she didn't give us one. So I walked back up to the counter and told the blonde girl that I need a receipt. She said okay just a min she is helping the next customer,I advised her we just paid and did not get a receipt after having to ask for one! Hold on we will get it?!? Gezzzz really?!? If something was wrong with the nail polish and I had to return or exchange it , they would ask me for a receipt!!!! Won't be back for sure !!!! read more
