They happily put the game on when we asked and were very attentive throughout our visit, which made a great first impression. I ordered the burger with bacon and blue cheese and requested no condiments. I think there may have been some confusion in the kitchen, as the garnishes were left off as well, but our server promptly brought them out when asked. Unfortunately, the burger itself was overcooked and lacked flavor. The ciabatta roll was only partially toasted, and overall the dish fell a bit flat. The fries, however, were excellent hot, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and absolutely delicious. I don't usually like coated fries, but these were a home run. My dining partner ordered the BLT and said the sandwich was great overall. We also shared the mozzarella sticks appetizer. They were a bit different from traditional mozzarella sticks, thicker cheese with a heavier breading. While they were good, I felt the order should have included six instead of four. Overall, even though we were one of only two tables in the restaurant, we had a great lunch, thanks largely to the excellent service.

The bacon was okay, the eggs tasted like they might have been reconstituted, the English muffin was tough, but the white toast was excellent, thickly cut and toasted just right. The fruit and coffee were both okay. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and really tried hard to make sure we had what we needed. Service was definitely the highlight. The restaurant was clean and though there were lots of people there it wasn't too noisy. I was surprised to see how worn the booth seating was. It was convenient and quick, which fit our morning plans, but we decided to try other spots in town for the rest of our meals.

This review is way overdue. This is my go-to spot for special occasions…read more I first discovered this place about five years ago when my husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We had such a wonderful experience that we came back to celebrate our anniversary three years in a row. Funny enough, we always seem to get seated in the same booth and have had the pleasure of the same great service each time. The COVID years were the only time we didn't go. Tip: Order the tomahawk to share--it's the best dish hands down on the menu, in my opinion. The fat is perfectly charred, and the meat just melts in your mouth. Tip #2: Get the crème brûlée for dessert--you won't regret it. Must order: Brussels sprouts appetizer, green salad, Caesar for two, and the New York steak. Skip: Ribeye steak, escargot, and the seafood tower. Before the main courses, they provide a palate cleanser, which is a really nice touch. Reservations are recommended, but I've seen people walk in after an evening at the casino and get a table with only a short wait. There's a bar nearby where you can grab a drink while you wait.

Our waitress was very busy with all of us but kept up with the orders, drinks and excellent service. I was a little disappointed to find Caesar salads are no longer made at the table and coffee no longer served in French press. The little things that make this restaurant special. The desserts were the usual with a lemon fluff added. No one liked that, all lemon, no sugar added. Of course, we will return

After going into a situation…read moresimilar to bankruptcy, the employer lied to their employees up until their establishment closed. This resulted in many months leading up to the closure, of unpaid paychecks, last minute changes in people's work schedules, and a very unprofessional way of handling the situation. Even further, this employer did not provide a single W2 for access to taxes after the work year. Nor have they reached out to fix any of this situations. The legal circumstances of the restaurant are very shady, and I know my people of Bellingham want to support good practices in the workforce. Maybe this guy had learned his lesson, but I feel that the wraith of his actions and the closure of this establishment right now, is fit to the way he treated his employees. Karma is loud. You cannot abuse peoples service and provide paychecks late, for weeks on weeks. Then not even provide their tax return materials after a hardworked year for you establishment. Not to mention the endless loopholes that we are finding you used. Please do better.

The service and management is a joke though, multiple times the server is stoned out of their mind, and I watched a staff member leave to his car right in front of the building and smoke cannabis right in front of the building. The websites broken, they must have forgot to renew their liquor license, the staff do all roles - clearly management does not know how to run and manage a business. I got charged a dollar because my kid didn't want spice on the kids chicken bowl (being a child and all). It would probably do pretty well here if management changed hands. You can see as they always have delivery orders to go waiting, and the restaurant is empty every time I've been. For those European, the food is essentially Nando's. Today was the worst I've had - look at the image... So in summary, get takeout or carry out, foods great. Five stars for food. One star for this business owner.

This time we shared one with each kind of meat offered: chicken, pork and beef. I can't say which I liked more because they all were so awesome as ever. We tried something completely new to us this time: a ceviche called aguachile negro. I Googled it: "Aguachile negro is a bold, spicy Mexican seafood dish featuring raw, butterflied shrimp "cooked" in lime juice, blended with a dark, savory sauce made from roasted chiles, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Maggi seasoning. Served cold with cucumber and red onion, it offers a deep umami flavor and intense heat, often topped with avocado." I'll say it's hot!!! A heat that grows and fills your whole head. Yet, it was so incredibly delicious I weathered the effects. I am not kidding--I don't think I've had a dish I have loved more. The flavor is fantastic, and when I fished for a little raw prawn and put that thing in my mouth, I just thrilled. We had some of their wonderful guacamole as a starter, and I wish now I had saved some to try with the ceviche--it would have been lovely. I will go back.

I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp entre and they were cooked to perfection in the delicious poblana cream sauce. The salsa and guacamole is always incredibly fresh and I love the way they make their chips. Tasty, fresh, perfectly salted, and homemade. The pico that came wild the dish was delicious and I loved that they added mango to it. My friends got enchiladas which are always a great choice and we ordered mojitos which were very fresh too. I love how their drinks are always beautifully made with lovely garnishes and fruits to add color. Very excited to go back and try different drinks and entrees! Absolutely LOVE this authentic Mexican restaurant.
