The class it's self really worked me for a first timer but she was really motivating and an excellent coach. I will be back! I had the best time here at Hot Yoga Waikiki. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I did a hot Pilates class for the first time and I was so nervous. I've never done it before and I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to keep up but the class was very beginner friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's plenty of parking. The view is amazing. The studio was clean plenty of times available staff was great. They have a remote instructor, but it' did not bother me at all if you are familiar with Bikram. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY!!!!! If I could give this place negative one hundred stars I would. This place is a complete scam. Charging $28 per class for a VIRTUAL instructor who is on Zoom from her kitchen not even demonstrating the yoga poses. At no point was I warned about the VIRTUAL format of this class. I only found out when I walked into the studio and saw a TV broadcasting the Zoom. In addition to that the entire class was being filmed without our verbal consent. Those were the first two red flags. I left the class within the first 10 minutes and I'm so glad that I did. After I left I asked the studio for a refund stating that I was mislead based on the class listings on Yelp and MINDBODY. The owner of the studio argued back that the descriptions of the class state the virtual nature. I am attaching screenshots of the MINDBODY and website class descriptions here in my review - clearly proving that they DO NOT include anything about Zoom being part of the class. If I wanted a virtual class I would've looked for free on YouTube from the comfort of my own home. After the "class" I read the negative reviews on Yelp and I fully expect her to respond to this with a passive aggressive message, and that should just tell you everything that you need to know. I really enjoyed the class, the space and the people. I have been doing the 26/2 for a while and found the virtual format to be pretty cool. The person who checked me in was super respectful and helpful, and made it easy to get oriented and feel welcome. The class itself was well paced and the delivery of the dialog was awesome. The temp was good and it seems like a really good little community of people following the practice here in Waikiki. Everything was great, it's an interesting concept where it's fully automated including remote teachers. But the teacher was amazing and provided a lot of input. People were all friendly and helpful. Please note they don't have showers but no big deal for us. We will definitely be back. read more

Wasn't going to leave a review but I couldn't get over how creepy this experience was. At no point do they tell you that this is a fully virtual zoom yoga class and the teacher is just like watching you the entire time/calling your name out when she's correcting your form. I left ten minutes in and wish I had left sooner. TLDR the worst yoga class I've ever taken, wouldn't even call it that except it's still a studio somehow? Oh my...what a terrific hot Pilates class! Catherine was wonderful - lots of energy and detailed instruction on form to make sure you're maximizing the full 60 minute workout. My body is a bit sore this morning (especially the glutes), but in a good way! My legs were shaking a bit walking down the stairs to my car after class. Evidence of a good workout! I just had my first class here and loved it. Class size was comfortable and not too crowded, heat level of the room was perfect and not overwhelmingly hot. Loved the high intensity and it's extremely challenging so you can modify as you need. Lisa is one of the best instructors I've had! Lots of positive energy and motivating. read more

Absolutely Fantastic!! Felt so comfortable!! The teacher can see you perfectly well, and give you hints as to what you need to fix in your posture but the fact that this is through the screen made me feel very comfortable, zero self conscious, very private, loved it!! I really enjoyed my time at this studio. The owner has developed a genius concept, being a 'smart' studio - where instructors teach remotely on screens. Concept sounds strange but works really well with instructors from as far as Portugal, Vancouver and Seattle. 100% one of the friendliest yoga studios I have visited as a visitor. From my first email exchange, Catherine, the owner reached straight back out to me and got me all set up with a week unlimited pass for out of towers; $75 including a mat. I purchased a cool towel to put o the mat for $10 and ir was well worth it. The studio is small in SQ footage space and HUGE in character and SUPER HOT!! The Bikram 90 min classes are in studio with a teacher being remotely zoomed in and they also have 60 min Inferno Hot Pilates Classes with teacher in studio. I personally met Catherine the owner and teacher of classes and she was energizing and motivating. I also met Lisa, one of the teachers for Inferno Hot Pilates and her classes are totally bad ass! Wonderful music and great routines. The online teachers were excellent at the dialogue and paid close attention to all of the students. There is ample parking underground for $2 during the day and street parking - have lots of quarters. There is no shower but the beach is at the end of the street and there is a shower at the beach. Restrooms are separate to the studio - accessible by code and kept very clean. I love love this studio! I will return any time I am in Waikik, Hawaii. I've been practicing Bikram yoga for years at various studios and finally I found the perfect one! Cozy, clean, high-tech smart studio! The instruction is virtual, but I always feel like the instructor was in the studio with me. All the instructors are extremely talented, experienced, supportive and friendly. I had a 60 minute hot yoga class with Lisa and she was AMAZING. The class was fast paced but you can go at your own speed and adjust which weights you use to your comfortability. Lisa pushes you to do your best and makes sure you have the correct form for the exercises. The music she plays is great, keeps the energy high, there are towels and mats you can rent, there's cold water so you can refill your water bottle at any time. 10/10 recommend Lisa's class!! read more
