At first sight the place looked quiet but calm. When I entered, the smell of the restaurant was like a perfume. When we walked further into the restaurant, everybody stopped what they were doing, including all the cooks and servants, to say hi to us in Japanese. It was nothing like what I've seen before. There were no tables; only a bar at which everybody sat down. Instead of facing your companion, you faced the chef. Right after sitting down a server came to us and asked what we wanted to drink in a very welcoming way. After we ordered our drinks the chef told us that he was at our service and could prepare any special dishes we wanted which made me feel comfortable. After taking a short review of the menu, I asked for a furikake sashimi and at first I was doubting the restaurant because the chef was doing it right in front of me and the dish did not seem to look good. In about 3 minutes the plate was right in front of me and the chef said that this is one of the best sashimi's because it has a very refreshing citrus oil and also some spicy soy sauce and a Japanese special salt called furikake that seemed a little bit weird but after getting one piece into my mouth, I was never the same it was absolutely astonishing all the flavor's mixing in my mouth with just the right balance and I did not even now what to say because I've never tried something like this before and I thought it was pure perfection. After finishing that first taste of pure food perfection, I went ahead and thanked and congratulated the chef and then ordered an otoro nigiri which was prepared In less than 2 minutes and although it was a one bite dish it was amazing because the quality of the fish was incredible because it just melted inside my mouth because of how soft it was and the rice in like a mouth temperature which just left me speechless. After that one bite that I finished quite fast, without hesitation I asked for others kind of nigiris including Hamachi, wagyu meat , tuna, king crab and also a squid one but not one of them was to my disliking because all of them tasted really differently but In that moment I knew that this was the best Japanese food I had ever tried in my life. After eating with such happiness I was full and happy and overall I know that this restaurant is my favorite because it had everything someone like me need which is good sushi, a calm environment, and a spectacular service which made me lave in about 40 minutes but I knew that this was not going to be the last time I was going to come to taste this amazing food. read more
