First off customer service was great. The guy at the cashier was very nice, gave recommendations and didn't make us feel rush. We ordered the chicken Rico, and a tender/sandwich combo w/Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Everything was fresh, the chicken was juicy. Surprisingly I enjoyed the Cole slaw, which is rare. While speaking to the staff, he mentioned that they have been open for only two weeks. Unfortunately we were told they were short staffed but I was thankful he was courteous of my time and was honest. I placed an order for a 4 pack which was 4 chicken strips, fries, coleslaw and texas toast, along with shosho fries which was fries, mac n cheese with chicken. Both orders were mild as far as "heat". The wait was a bit, but I didn't mind. We got our order and I swear to you the shosho fries felt like 3lbs. It was packed with so much goodness! Fries on the bottom, super cheesy mac n cheese and chunks of chicken. The cheesy goodness coated each fry, I do wish there were more chicken. That way I can get the perfect bite. This meal portion was huge! I honestly think it could feed four people. As for the 4 pack, it was delicious. The chicken was so moist. Flavorful. Not oily and was mostly chicken and not just bread/crust coating. The fries were cooked well. The coleslaw and toast were delicious. Only issue I had was that "mild" wasn't as "mild" as other places. The customer service is great we were greeted with a smile and information about the menu. The vibe in there was chill and everyone was chowing down on the food. It was clean and organized. Ok, let me tell you: their heat is different from others'. I got the smoky hot and the hot, and I can say the Smokey is really flavorful, but that hot is too hot for me. I was able to switch otbout for the lite which was good. I love hot food so if you're looking for a good Smokey and Hot, then order that if you want hot then order hot. I really wanted to like this restaurant as it is a local business, but a year later Melissa A's 1 star review is dead-on accurate. I don't know about "Indian spices", but the chicken was tough and had almost burnt flavor, I am thinking this flavor is what she was referring to. The Mac and cheese is not good as described, they should look for a new recipe. It is not hard to make a decent Mac and cheese. Toast was not buttered and dry. The fry's were basic. The one bright spot was coleslaw, it was excellent. The service was good too. I hope they can improve food as I would rather spend my money on a local mom and pop and not a chain restaurant. I would say if you like Dave's this place is comparable, but this place has a larger variety of options and their sauce and ranch tastes homemade. I got the strips and fries and my husband got two sandwiches and fries. It was a lot of food so we could've shared. But where this place really shined was their customer service. They gave us a sample of Mac and cheese and honestly wanted to know our thoughts. I waited in the car with our dog and the owner came out to greet me. I cannot really speak to the ambience because we took it home but the quality of the food and great customer service will keep us coming back. The Chicken has a weird taste with a weird texture similar to imitation crab meat as if they inject the chickens with too many hormones and the chicken just ain't chicken anymore. It was a spicy Dry Rub of Strong Cumin and other Indian Seasoning Flavor . I like a bit of Cumin on certain food but not so extremely overpowering on everything . There was even Cumin on my daughter's chicken strips that were supposed to be plain with no seasoning at all. Even the fries had Cumin.
