My husband teaches a non-profit class to Veterans without jobs giving them skills to get obtain jobs using their skills from the military. It's a week long class and depends on donations from restaurants in the area for lunch donations since these Veterans don't have jobs. I have always loved Hot Box pizza since it opened in Kokomo IN, but after my experience today....never again! I ordered a carry out order of XL veggie pizza, bread sticks, and 2 salads, and paid $40. Many pieces of the pizza were sparsely topped, and some had only a few of the veggies on them. The thin crust was like a cracker! The lettuce in both salads was brown or white, and didn't look safe to eat. Both salads went immediately in the trash! Terrible to pay that much for the quality of food I received. Now I know why there were NO vehicles in the parking lot!! Update to review: The next day after emailing Hot Box, I received a call to apologize and have a credit placed on my account.
