The best time and place to eat Hot Box Pizza is those late Saturday nights after leaving the Broad Ripple bars and clubs! On the other hand, I don't always want to be drunk or travel 40min to curve my cravings. That's where the Plainfield location comes into play. Pizza and breadsticks were awesome and service was great. Grabbed a bite and headed across the street to watch a movie. Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

So I am normally a monster Hotbox fan but this time I just was not getting down with it. I ordered the special which is $16 and then a small summer pie somehow my order magically was $33. I am not sure how that happened but they were really busy and I figured I would look at the receipt but didn't get one so just forgot about it. The breadsticks at this location just seemed a little off, dry. Normally they are fantastic. The pepperoni pizza was great and hot but not cut all the way. The summer pie was ok but I would not order it again. Just not ingredients on it. I also was not the biggest fan of the wheat crust. All in all I was a little sad I spent $33 on this meal that night. But my kids will eat pizza every night of their night.

Cold pizza with toppings literally falling off. I wish I could add a video.

Located on the western end of Avon, Pizzaville is in a strip center with Parlor Doughnuts in the parking lot, Hotcakes Emporium a handful of storefronts down and a couple other cool storefronts. In case it's not obvious, Pizzaville specializes in pizza. They offer dine-in, carry-out, and delivery in select areas. They also cater special events. One of the things I noticed was large signage indicating a lunch buffet during the week ($11.99). There's accessible parking almost directly in front. The main entrance offers a weird ramp up to the door - despite having a ramp, I'd actually say it's not accessible because the ramp is at such a weird angle. I was able to get in, however, it took effort. It's much easier if you approach it from the parking lot rather than the sidewalk. Once you enter, you arrive at the ordering spot. The dining room is to your left. The decor is simple yet clean. As I recall, they serve Coke products. They do have Gold Peak Unsweetened Iced Tea in the fountain. They do also have some canned/bottled offerings. While I arrived on a weekend (no buffet), there was a $6.99 special that included a mini-pizza up to 3-toppings and a fountain drink. The prices can definitely go up, though I found pricing quite fair and definitely quite good. They have a handful of sides - I was tempted by breadsticks, but they are $5.99. I read a couple reviews indicating it's a pretty big serving - so, I held off this time. I ordered a mini-pizza with sausage and pepperoni along with my fountain drink. They were friendly and offered help. The mini-pizza is basically a "personal" pizza and it's on the smaller side. I was pleased with it and would easily order it again. I believe there's a side room you can reserve. There's single user bathrooms with grab bars. I can't quite go to a 5-star here. I enjoyed the meal immensely and will easily return. This is a solid 4-star experience with good quality and good value. I arrived late in the lunch hour - business was pretty light, though it was steady. I'm enjoying my journey through Hendricks and Putnam County. While it was initiated by a sad experience, it's introducing me to the communities of Avon, Danville, and Coatesville and I'm really enjoying that. If you're looking for a new pizza buffet experience, this is a solid one to try from Monday-Friday during lunch. Otherwise, they still have great specials and for those on a budget you can eat for under ten bucks by using specials.

Every meal seems a little lacking and leaves you wanting a little bit more but the atmosphere and staff are nice which helps to balance the disappointment. We ordered the bruschetta as our appetizer, it was enjoyable but more olive forward than we were expecting. I ordered the arugula salad which did say it had spinach in it. However, it was a mainly spinach salad. I opted to add chicken to it and ask our waitress if the chicken was seasoned and worth the ad and she assured me that it was. Unfortunately it was not seasoned and it was very bland reminding me of the pre-packaged chicken pockets you can buy at Costco. Had I known I wouldn't have added it as it did not add anything to the salad. My friend really wanted the brussel sprout salad and apparently they did not have brussel sprouts so it was only romaine salad so she opted for a pasta dish instead. We appreciated our waitress giving us the heads up and confirming that she still wanted the salad with the changes that would be made to it. We ended the evening by sharing a tiramisu for her birthday along with an espresso martini. The dessert options were nice, but the espresso martini wasn't traditional; it was more Baileys-forward than expected. Overall, it's a decent restaurant for a casual meal but it hasn't offered anything that would make us eager to return or crave another visit.

By far, THE BEST pizza in the Midwest, hands down!! (I…read moredon't want to offend many people by writing best pizza in the USA, but I DO say this to everyone I mention Magoo's to) My favorite is their classic Creamy Garlic Sauce Chicken Tikka Pizza...Zabiha Halal meat, generous toppings, top-notch quality ingredients and the most unique and heavenly white garlic sauce (Everything else on the menu is pretty yum too) Also, I must mention that eating it at the restaurant vs takeout makes an immense difference. Although the pizza sits well at room temp too and also after reheating (air fryer/toaster oven works better for pizza than microwave), eating it fresh and hot hits different, and totally melts in your mouth. If you haven't tried Magoo's pizza, you have NOT had great pizza at all.

The food is consistent, fresh, & the customer service is excellent at all of their locations. My go to pizza order is always the hand tossed, Garlic sauce, Chicken, & chopped jalapeños. Warning- if you try this pizza you will love it and so will all your friends. The combination is so flavorful, with the garlic sauce it's not spicy at all, even my grandma loves this pizza! Our second favorite is definitely the bbq chicken pizza, plenty of sauce & chicken. All of their pizzas are very filling, evenly spread toppings. Inside the store they have 6-8 tables, always a movie playing, great for families, and feels like home! Lastly, The house made ranch dressing deserves an honorable mention, I think the pizza is great as it is but the ranch is actually quite nice for dipping.
