Early check in without any hassle. Dennis gave us a little tour of the property and some back story on the various buildings and rooms for future stays. He also Explained the what the area has to offer. Seems really clean. Really nice big bathroom. Comfortable bed. Really easy parking.

I had no idea this existed. It only looks like a house when you drive by, but inside is the cutest spot! I only gave 4 stars because the bar wasn't open. I admit I didn't do the booking so if it was disclosed, I didn't know. It won't stop me from returning. I've been told there is live music over the summer and I can't wait to have a girls weekend and return!

    Fun in Indy!

One of the blurbs, perhaps its website, announces that this little boutique in eastern Indianapolis "caters to LGBTQ guests" and later posts that it is "friendly to all genders and styles," or something to that effect. I was even moved to call for assurance that an elderly white straight couple wouldn't make others uncomfortable. "Don't be silly!" I was told "You'll have a wonderful time." Three little hole in the wall buildings furnished with meticulous taste and a detailed eye gave us great comfort in a strange city. An acoustic group played in the yard before our balcony the Sunday afternoon of our arrival -- old Beatles and Jimmy Buffett songs done well, and softly enough so as not to impede conversation. Spectacularly clean room, soft sheets, and fluffy terry bathrobes made us feel like royal guests. Plus, there's a very nice bar in the main building. We never entered our rental car between arrival and departing to the airport, as there are many restaurants, taverns, ice cream shops, and diners in convenient walking distance even for us octogenarian washed-up former has-been athletes visiting the Broad Ripple quarter of Indy. We had a delightful visit and will certainly return.

    Such a cute room!

Hotel Broad Ripple is a delightful mix between a B&B, hotel and lodge. It takes the best of each of these and combines them into a welcoming overnight experience. You walk in and immediately smell a woodsy scent, like fresh-cut pine or oak -- I don't really know my woods. But it's that all-natural scent that immediately conjures up memories of nights spent in Gatlinburg or a forest or on a mountain. And then there's this great lobby area with wine at night. When I walked through it at different times I found guests chatting each other up, getting to know each other. So ... a lodge. But then again, this lodging option is in what looks like a former single-family home. The signage is minimal. You have to know where you're going to find it ... or have a good GPS. My room door was within 10 feet or so of the check-in desk, and there are no phones in the rooms because you could just peek your head out of your door and ask the front desk clerk. From what I could tell each room is just a bit different, some with balconies and some bigger than others. My room had a large brick focal wall, a vintage green sofa and a beautifully tiled shower. And when I checked in, I got a hand written note, welcoming me to Hotel Broad Ripple. So ... a B&B. But the amenities seemed to go above and beyond a B&B. There's free continental breakfast available at the small restaurant across the train tracks from Hotel Broad Ripple. I didn't get to try it out, but the clerk pointed out that it was next to the train caboose behind the hotel. Each room has its own bathroom from what I could tell. And you have privacy from other guests. So ... a hotel. Some other things I liked about Hotel Broad Ripple: * My room had its own Keurig with a few complimentary K-cups, including two teas and a coffee. * Coffee was also available for free in the lobby. * There's a small private parking lot in back of the hotel. * It's within a short walk of some of the best places in Broad Ripple. * The wifi was fast, free and easy to connect to. My room did not have a small fridge, which I wish it had, but besides that, my experience with Hotel Broad Ripple is one that I would happily repeat. I must remember this for the next time I'm in Indy.

Broad Ripple has some cute little hideaways, I'm learning. I have passed by Hotel Broad Ripple on a few of my long walks on the monon, but had no idea it was so cute inside! I really like the decor; the owner did a great job of finding things of great style while maintaining a good balance. There are great views of the heart of Broad Ripple. My favorite room was the suite, which could fit about 4-5 people easily. It was very open, great decor and much space. The bathrooms in the suite were great and left me most impressed They had modern features with all the extras in the bathrooms. Another idea for Hotel Broad Ripple is that the owner is willing to have group rent out the lobby for gathering. She didnt make it sound like it would be too much on the wallet. This space is very spacious, has great sitting and offers a bar. If you are coming to Indy and want to focus on the Broad Ripple idea OR what a place for a cool staycation, I think Hotel Broad Ripple would get great!

Such a lovely little oasis! Yes, it's a bit from the airport, about a $30 Uber ride, but totally worth it if you want a personal, relaxing, and gorgeous spot to spend your time in Indy. Expect a cozy, welcoming, charming, nine room boutique hotel when you arrive. Yes, if you drive by quickly, you will miss it. The entrance is in the back so it's not obvious from the road. This is a spot you would see on Airbnb and add to your wish list. It has a contemporary lodge-like feel and was decorated for Christmas and it was lovely. I could sit here for days and think of adjectives to describe this spot but you really have to see it to believe it. When I arrived they were not full for the evening so they showed me Room 1 and 8 so I could choose, how nice? I went with 8 as it was away from the road and had a gorgeous deck. It was very spacious. The bathroom was lovely, only thing I would have liked more was a bathtub; I personally love taking baths in hotels. The bed was so very comfortable. So comfy that I had to force myself out of it. This was a super quick trip for me so I was very bummed I didn't get to hang out around this lovely inn. Next time I am in the area, expect me back here! The hand written note upon check-in was a lovely touch. There is also a free continental breakfast available at a restaurant right out back, a super quick walk outside the back door. I was unable to check it out as my stay was so short. If you are looking for a very personable, welcoming spot, this is it. Take a break from the hustle and bustle and get your relax on. Thanks for the hospitality, Hotel Broad Ripple!

This is a cute, comfortable place to stay! They make you feel like family. Only 2 inconveniences... there is no fridge in room 1, with all the places to eat around the area, we brought food home and couldn't refrigerate it. Also, room 1 is right behind the front desk which seems odd, but I understand why the space was utilized that way. Otherwise, room was beautiful and comfortable. Great place to stay in broad ripple! Close to the trail which makes walking to places so easy! :)

Hotel Broad Ripple is a beautiful ecletic hotel nestled on the Monon trail in Broad Ripple. On the outside it looks like a home with bridges to other houses...but once you enter you will be greeted by a cozy warm and well decorated hotel. Its a cute boutique hotel that offers the hominess of a hostel with the cleanliness and sleekness of any modern hotel. This is definitely a hidden gem of Broad Ripple...

I live in Broad Ripple but don't have enough space in my home to host guests from out of town. Hotel Broad Ripple is a life saver! It allows family and friends to stay close but still have their own bed and comfy surroundings. The furnishings and decor here are adorable. Feels like a bed and breakfast with all its charm, but has modern touches like a Keurig, flat screen, and keycard entry for all rooms. My mother is visiting this weekend, and this is her first stay. She loves the big bathroom and sitting area of room #2. We had breakfast this morning with some yummy local treats like Traders Point Creamery yogurt and butter, and all the stylish plates and glasses. The staff is friendly but not overly chatty if you prefer privacy. Plenty of parking, and a great location for walking access to lots of restaurants, bars, local shops, and the Monon Trail.

Awesome little hidden gem. We were just passing through town on a road trip and stayed here for just one night. Wish we had stayed longer! Room was beautiful (as was the lobby/bar). Great shower! Comfiest bed! Nice little hip neighborhood to explore right across the street. Free breakfast at the coffee shop. Would highly recommend.

I identified Home2 Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown to stay during my weekend in Indianapolis…read morebecause of its distance from my relative, and it being near Monument Circle and the World War Memorial. Other than that, I loved that it is a Hilton hotel, and the fact that it was lower in cost by a lot once I utilized my Expedia OneKeyCash rewards. I must mention parking because it was one thing that made me selective of hotel stay in the area. At Home2 Suites, valet parking is listed at $45.00, but if you want to take a chance there are parking garages in the surrounding area which cost around the same price. I parked at the garage located within Regions Tower and paid only $50.00 overnight. And there is metered parking in the area, if you are lucky to find a spot. My experience with the receptionist working behind the counter was nothing less than professional. Since my room had already been booked through Expedia, the only thing check-in consisted of was a verification of my information, a briefing of what the hotel offers, and giving me my room key. For your information check-in starts at 3:00 PM and ends at 12:00 AM! And check-out ends at 11:00 AM! Home2 Suites, as expected, appeared immaculately beautiful! After locating and entering the room I stayed in, I said to myself "Lovely" once I took notice of the room and its kitchenet area. It came with a refrigerator, dishwasher, a sink with garbage disposal, plus cabinets with dishware and pots & pans inside. Now the furniture in the room gave the room somewhat of a homely like feel. The couch, and the carpet on the room looked like something you would see in your grandmother's house I swear, tehehe. The workspace in the room had a rollable table along with a rollable chair. And inside of the bathroom, there were liquid hygiene products inside of the shower attached to the wall. Seems like hotels are slowly doing away with the mini shampoo, bath soap, and conditioner products that make great travel hygiene additions. Along with those notable things inside of the room, it met my cleanliness standards. I had no issues whatsoever getting comfortable in the king-sized bed during my stay as my head was engulfed in-between the comfortable pillows. While utilizing the shower, I was satisfied with the water pressure of it, as well as being able to toggle with the spray patterns. Other things the room came with that I noticed were an iron, ironing board, an extra comforter, and a few lamps with electrical outlets. And the Wi-Fi internet was easy to connect to and not once did I have any connectivity issues with it during my stay. Served from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM on weekdays, and from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on the weekend; it was a relief to have the complimentary breakfast because I did not have to worry about finding a restaurant in the area. Using a waffle maker for the first time ever was a fun experience I must say. Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of what was presented for the complimentary breakfast. I would surely book with Home2 Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown again due to my experience with it because the hotel met my comfort needs, and I loved that its location is within an accessible distance of things of my interest in the city of Indianapolis. ~ Good vibes coming your way ~ Thomas G

I get all the way down there, just to move 2 rooms down after packing everything up and going down eleven floors, instead of them bringing ME up a new card for a new room. That is poor customer service. Let me be clear. They were not busy. I woke up at nine a m with a paper under my door. I received a charge of $585!!!!! Now let me just tell you, i went in my room and went right to sleep, because I was exhausted for my day of travel. This letter told me that I had been smoking in the room and charged me this amount. I immediately called down a customer service and was told that they would take it off when the manager came in at eleven o'clock. I was somewhat relieved at this, so I went on with my morning and got ready and went down and waited. The manager assured me that they would not charge my card and that I had not been charged yet. After checking in, I received a text asking how everything was going, and during my stay I was able to send follow-up texts if I had questions or needed anything. In addition, I was able to borrow/sign out an umbrella one day when it was raining - there's a $25 fee if you don't return it that day, but it's a very nice service they offer. I realized I forgot a shower cap one day, too, and the front desk was able to provide me with one. Pros: -Huge and unique rooms. The building is from the late 1800s and has been repurposed into this hotel. I think my room was bigger than my first apartment! -Nice sitting area with a couch even though I had a king studio suite. Huge kitchen with full-size fridge and freezer, plus flatware and even cooking utensils. -Large bathroom area, although no bathtub, just a shower. -Free breakfast daily, and they even had almond milk and oat milk for cereal - I have to drink non-dairy milk exclusively and hotels rarely have it available. -Free cookies at front desk -The staff was super friendly, when I returned every day from the conference I was welcomed back Cons: -Very few from me, but: no safe in the room -Towels are small but that's normal for most hotels nowadays -Wifi was a little wonky - on my computer and work iPhone it was fine, and also fast, but on my Android/personal phone, texts were delayed. I'm going to chalk this up to my phone being weird. Overall I LOVED my stay here and would 100% stay here again. If you're in town for a convention, it's only a two-block aka five-minute walk to the convention center, too, which was great.
