It's so unfortunate that there is only one review of this hotel, and that it's one star! I stayed at this hotel for a week with a group of about 20 others - AND the majority of us were minors. We were treated respectfully and the staff were incredibly helpful with directions. We all had an AMAZING experience. The rooms were large, incredibly clean, the staff was so helpful and friendly, the cleaners even folded my clothes for me a few times. The bathrooms were always well stocked, and the closet had a safe for us to put our passports. The location was perfect. Right across the street was a beautiful building and a taxi station -this was incredibly helpful especially when it's raining to not have to walk and search for one. Many of the rooms have balconies that overlook the street. Via Nazionale is a wonderful street that have been written about in great detail by great authors such as Fitzgerald. There are a lot of places to shop on the street and a great way to pass time between visiting landmarks. The Colosseum and Trevi fountain were less than ten minutes walking distance and we were able to visit them every night. The breakfast was not "a joke" as last reviewer said. It is obviously not the same as American continental breakfast - it's in EUROPE. Their style of breakfast is much different. We genuinely tried to find a breakfast place to eat one day... they don't really exist. The closest you get to "breakfast" is a pastry and espresso. The hotel supplied more than that: fruits, a staffed bar that will make you coffee drinks, milk, juice, pastries, etc. It's no luxury but I had nothing to complain about. Overall, the hotel really made my trip easier, smoother, and more memorable and enjoyable than I could have ever imagined. read more
