The hotel is under construction and the noise + smell could not be hidden. Thankfully after speaking with the front desk the contractors waited until 9am to start. The first few nights it began at 6am which was tough to ignore. The room itself was large and clean, had the noise not been such an issue and once construction is completed I would come back here. Amenities are nice outside and the hotel is one of the best compared to others in the area.

Located just minutes from Universal, and so much more cost effective! This would definitely be a hotel you'd drive by and not be wowed by, but the interior has completely been remodeled! The lobby was getting remodeled during our stay, but the bar area had a cool vibe. Unfortunately it was raining so we didn't get to experience the outside pool area. Our room was located in the atrium, which was super cool and old school feeling. The room was a decent size. It had a king bed and an additional living space and lots of bright light. The bed was comfortable, pillows not so much. Heads up, the parking was expensive. It's just a standard lot surrounding the building -- not gated and was $35 per night. That's common in the heart of a city but I thought was a bit steep for a basic parking lot.

Hotel Landy was an incredible find. From what I read it was a remodel and ultimately rebranded hotel. The entire experience was great. I discovered this hotel on HotelTonight and got an amazing deal. When you drive up, it feels luxurious. The staff was pleasant and greeted me with a smile. The interior ambiance was cool, calm and very welcoming. The check-in process was extremely easy and they even offered complimentary strawberry lemonade while I waited for the check-in process to be completed. We received 2 complimentary drink vouchers which could be redeemed for any alcoholic, specialty or foundation drink during our overnight stay. We rode the glass elevators up to the 9th floor, which not even going to lie, felt a bit dormish in the county jail dorm type of way lol (never been but used to work in one and have seen it on tv). Anyhow, once off the elevator, it was extremely quiet and we found our room with ease. The rooms were very updated and we even had a view of the outdoor recreational area which donned two ping pong tables, an outside bar, pool and other game/leisure area. The tv was large for a hotel room, there was a mini fridge (no microwave, womp), tub with very hot water which I loved, a close up makeup mirror as well as great lighting. I loved how I could not hear my neighbors in the rooms on either side ours. The first floor also had an arcade area, fitness center, gift shop, bar with cigars, and a few other amenities. Overall, our stay was great. The location was fairly central, walking distance from international blvd where all the outdoor fun things are. We would definitely stay here again!

Friendly staff. The interior was a mix of outdated and renovated/modern. Example: lobby and guest rooms had a modern renovation feel whereas the carpet and railing by the atrium area were old/outdated. The rooms were clean and spacious.

On staycation and happily so at Hotel Landy! Some girlfriends were in Orlando for the weekend and we holed up here. The hotel itself is very lovely. We enjoyed the pool and various amenities including the fitness room and arcade. The room itself was extremely spacious and well appointed. We loved the reusable water bottles that were provided for our stay. Also loved that there was a Keurig machine available in the room with actual mugs instead of the typical paper cups. Only issue in the room was that several of the outlets didn't work. Would have been nice if parking would have been included for guests. Seems steep to pay $35 per night when you're already paying the nightly rate. Would also be nice to include breakfast. It's an up charge. All in all, very pleasant stay and close to the parks!

On the surface, this hotel looks quite cute, but it has deep problems. After arriving at 9am (I came in on a redeye flight) I went to sleep, only to awake to no ac at 11am. After much run around, they said it was repaired and would be on before 6pm at the latest. This was at 2:30. I went to have some dinner, which was delicious, by the way. Mahi mahi tacos, but they couldn't comp it for me. I asked them to at the front desk and they said they couldn't either. At 6:45 I called a manager. He said he would see if he could move me to another property, then never called back. At 730, the ac seemed to come back on, but that was deceiving, because it was only a hot fan. There was a waterfall of water near the lobby and flooding. My room just kept getting hotter and hotter. I was accommodated in no way. Very disappointed in not only the hotel, but also the management, and lack of service. When I checked out, the front desk said they could "flip a switch without going into the room to turn on the ac" so why didn't they do that? I got no sleep at all.

Really enjoyed the Hotel Landy. Huge rooms with a couch you can use as a bed and king size bed. Nice newer LED Samsung TV in room for viewing whatever one may like to consume. Ping pong tables, arcade, fitness center, outdoor pool & jacuzzi are a few amenities included. Plenty of parking, valet parking is also available. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff checking you in. Great and convent location off the highway and close to all the attractions Orlando has to offer. I would suggest this hotel if staying in the area. Reasonable pricing also!

Very nice location and very big place , rooms very clean and very comfortable, the only issue here is staff at check in desk they really lack of customer service, they treat you like why you here , and be careful of trying to check in before 3 pm as they don't tell you they charge u a early check in fee , they might have rooms available and they don't ask to see if you want to take those rooms , so if you had a reservation with 2 queen beds and there's a king size bed room available, they will keep you waiting on the room forever instead of giving you options to see if you take other rooms , also parking situation here is terrible , they charge you $35 a day parking fee

I had an absolutely delightful stay at this hotel! The ambient lighting created such a cozy atmosphere, in my room, outside & the lobby! Not to mention I ate at the bar during my stay & the shrimp tacos were not only delicious but had the perfect amount of spice & flavor. I paired them with a mojito that was a stroke of genius, on my behalf as the flavors complemented each other beautifully. My room was clean, and the AC was already on and working when I arrived, which was a wonderful touch. Plus, having a Keurig in the room was a pleasant surprise. I'm not a coffee drinker but I love tea. Although I didn't capture photos of the lobby or outside (pool) I did lay eyes on everything & the structure was the same but it was remodeled, spotless, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. I have an appreciation for Architecture & Interior design so I love that Marriott saw the potential in this property & executed the new design perfectly While the $35 self-parking fee was reasonable, the hotel more than made up for it with its array of amenities. From the arcade to outdoor games, seating areas, food truck, and pool, there was no shortage of entertainment options. Plus, its proximity to Universal and Icon Park made it an ideal location for exploring the area. Overall, my experience was delightful, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone seeking a fantastic stay in the area!

Check-in was pretty much a joke. We tried to upgrade to a junior suite. We would have paid for the upgrade after reviewing the suites size and unique space for the kids. Front desk clerk told us he would look if they had one after he already wrote the room number down on our room key envelope so he never actually looked. Just said it wasn't available and the hotel was fully booked. They explain the $35 parking fee that you had to scan a QR code on the sign to pay could not add it to the room charge. It's like they don't own their own parking lot. Why can't this charge be in with the room charge? Gave us a room and when we got into the room there was a glass of champagne on the table. There were dirty towels on the counter in the bathroom. There was food, garbage in the garbage can and the bed had been shifted. Honestly, it looks like they gave us a room that somebody else had already checked into. A little scary to me. Then we walked back to the front desk to get a new room. 3 towels 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel was all that was in the bathroom. So only 1 person gets a wash cloth or the family has to share?? For a room with 2 Queen beds that seems weird to me At almost 9 pm I looked at the Marriot Bonvoy app and it showed I could have booked the junior suite with cash or points. So the front desk clerk saying none available without even looking was crap. Also they have rooms available so not fully booked. Massive raccoon in the parking lot was a little scary. I was unable to sleep between the running toilet and the pool music. Not sure about the ac noise as it was set to 68 but never came on It's ok. The room alarm clock which looks just like a vintage clock went off at 7:10 and we had no clue where the beeping was coming from 1 star for cleanliness as the air filters were clogged and disgusting. Didn't help our allergies at all. Also, I know it's an old hotel that they recently remodeled, but it doesn't even look like they took the wall plates off when they repainted the rooms Good things. I liked the shampoo conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion. The hot water is HOT. In room Keurig was awesome. I actually don't like Starbucks coffee which is in the lobby so I was glad to brew my own in room. I did bring my own k cups. The selection in room wasn't impressive but it would have been doable if I hadn't brought my own. And I loved the original real coffee mug over paper garbage mug

Seventeen hours at this temperature. Inside an expensive hotel room.

If you don't follow your GPS like it's the voice of God, you'll drive past this place at least 10 times wondering if you're being pranked. Once you finally find it, though, you're in for a surprise. The hotel is attached to a magnificent steakhouse and gives off this classy vineyard-patio vibe that makes you feel like you're about to attend a wine tasting, even if you're just there for work like I was. Walking up, there are beautiful outdoor tables with glass tops where guests can relax, eat, and pretend they're important. Then you walk into the lobby and BAM dark wood floors, elegant furniture, comfortable sofas, and enough atmosphere to make you wonder, Wait what did I accidentally book? I was honestly concerned I'd somehow clicked the wrong hotel and was about to max out my credit card. Nope. Surprisingly affordable. The room? Fantastic. You've got a Keurig machine ready to fuel your caffeine addiction, a nice big TV, all the amenities you need, and then there's THE BED. Listen, I don't know if it's a pillow-top, a cloud-top, a Sleep Number, a NASA mattress, or if angels personally fluff it every afternoon, but that thing is dangerous. I laid down for what felt like five minutes and woke up the next morning. I slept harder than a newborn after a bottle. Now let's talk about room service. They have this little stand where you order directly from the steakhouse downstairs. I ordered dinner, expecting hotel prices that require a small bank loan. The bill was $35. I nearly called the front desk to report a pricing error. Meanwhile, I was hungrier than a hostage, and they delivered a meal fit for royalty. For a brief moment, I genuinely felt like a VIP. The hotel also has a nice bar for those who enjoy a drink. I don't drink, but if I did, I probably would've celebrated finally finding the entrance. Bottom line: great atmosphere, beautiful property, comfortable rooms, amazing food, affordable prices, and a mattress that may have supernatural powers. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Would I still need GPS to find it? Also absolutely.

One of the two elevators was out of service, it was peak checkout time, and there was also a princess pageant event happening, so the hotel was much busier than usual. Trying to get downstairs with my dog was extremely frustrating. I looked for stairs but wasn't sure if they were alarmed. When I asked an employee to confirm, she looked at me like I had five heads, which didn't help my already thin patience (I definitely did not have enough coffee for that situation). I eventually just went downstairs. Coming back up was even worse -- the line for the single working elevator was ridiculous. When I asked the front desk about the stairs, I was told they were accessible from outside. I didn't realize I needed my key card to re-enter through the outdoor stairwell (which makes total sense -- I was just aggravated at that point). After going back inside and trying again, I ended up walking up five flights of stairs with my dog. Thankfully, we had requested a late checkout, so we avoided the absolute peak of the chaos. Our friends on the third floor ended up carrying their luggage down the stairs because waiting for the elevator wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, being on the fifth floor with a lot of luggage, that wasn't really an option for us. Aside from that stressful morning, we really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary evening happy hour with drink tickets and small bites is always a highlight. We also had breakfast on Saturday morning -- and honestly, the breakfast is a major deciding factor whenever we choose to stay at a Hilton. Overall, a great stay with one very frustrating checkout experience.

Pools and lazy river are very nice, and I appreciate the slide for kids. The facilities are okay…read moreand the food is mediocre at best... I booked a standard room and it had a nice view with a big window ,but after staying a while I could tell that the room was run down. The TV would glitch and the outlets are loose. The real highlight was when I went to take a shower and I locked the door, but the door wouldn't unlock and I was stuck for a couple minutes and I had to call my husband to try and help me unlock the door from the other side and even after it unlocked the door would get stuck. Book this hotel if you want Universal stuff like early park access but maybe don't lock the bathroom doors

Universal Orlando cabana bay resort was a great vacation destination,For me and my wife birthdays…read more The room was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Nice and firm for a get night rest or a nap after being at the pool side for a few hours. Walk in closet big bathroom ,living room was cool as well. The rooms give you that old 1960 vibes with a modern touch. The resort also featured some old vintage 1960 cars similar to the TWA hotel at jfk airport. The resort had some nice places to go to. Me and my wife enjoyed the bowling alley. We had a lot of fun. Don't forget about the shops with all your favorite carton characters t shirts hats slippers you name it Star Wars, the minions the Simpsons fun for kids all ages. We also enjoyed the cabana cafeteria . I had a spicy chicken sandwich with fries my wife had chicken teriyaki lomein full of nice pieces of chicken ,Which she enjoyed .I also had some chicken tenders and fries from the cafeteria on our stay. We also ordered food from door dash while we were in the main lobby. We ordered shake shack which was cheaper ordering from door dash then buying food on the resort, smash burgers well done with cheese fries, for a little vacation cheat because I'm on a diet. By the way the order came really fast. Don The pool was great especially at night the view was amazing. With the lights shining on the pool and the really nice fire pit they had so you can even roast some marshmallows by it. Also the pool features a water slide for kids and adults. The blow up rafts were $9to17. You also could bring your own as well. You also had an ice machine with cold water free. Plus you had the soft drinks and soda all you can drink for $30 . That was the drink packed. Cabana bay resort also had a restaurant right next the pool outside. Where they had some really good chicken quesadillas with fries. My wife enjoyed that. . I went with the chicken wrap with lettuce and some veggies, It was great to eat pool side with the beach chairs equipped with the big umbrella for shade . Then you also had the lazy river at the resort. That featured a bigger water slide and pool . Bigger than the pool outside the main lobby. The staff was courteous and friendly the stay was fun. Just remember it's kinda pricey . But don't forget about all the theme parks you get to visit for $80 each way .
