    Lots of vanity space
    Lea A.

Attended a conference at this hotel and it was great. From checkin to departure, my experience was very positive. Room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed which is difficult to find nowadays in my opinion. Bathroom had ample space in vanity area and great shower (clean!). Attended a banquet onsite and food was excellent and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Lots of good restaurants onsite. About a 20-minute Uber ride from the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

A picture of chocolate Christmas desserts. They have so many selection and even some sugar-free options.

Everything! Modern hotel with class aesthetics, many amenities, wonderful pool and outdoor eating areas. Well appointed rooms, excellent food and my favorite are Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday buffets.

Came here for an event. Parking is expensive ($21) considering the event was only an hour. There were plenty of signs so it was easy to navigate to the event hall.

First time staying here, it was a Southwest Airlines hotel & we wanted the points. Parking is $29 a night to park yourself, ugh, hate paying parking at a hotel, only certain rooms got free breakfast, rooms were ok nothing special, everything was clean tho. No warm comforter on the bed, it was chilly out when we were there & they have a thin little blanket if you can even call it that. The beds & pillows were comfortable tho, my lower back did not hurt. They will clean your room every day upon request. We had a handicapped assecible room because I'm in a boot which was a big positive for me. They also have a coffee store with Starbucks drinks & a dining area next to the pool inside you can sit with your coffee or snack. Overall would I stay here again, no only because there's a lot of choices in Orlando, free parking & breakfast & lower room costs. Like I said we only did this for the SW points.

Pros: Extremely friendly staff from registration, parking, valet, staff for the conference, security, pool attendants, pool bar staff, etc. I've traveled to many places and staying with Rosen Plaza was extremely pleasant and easy. I stayed here for a conference. It wouldn't typically be a place I'd choose to stay but so glad I did. Close to Icon Park with a night scene with bars and restaurants CVS right next door for any goods you need or forgot Low key security- made the hotel feel safe but never saw any reason for a security need. Walking distance to many places Top Golf is a very easy drive from this location Room cleaning service is amazing and unexpected. I'm used to rooms being cleaned by most places every other day or few days nowadays. Rosen Plaza had my bed made and my room tidied by 10am. I'm devastated with my early flight I forgot to leave a tip for housekeeping in the room this morning. Liked that there weren't pool bracelets to keep track of Ballrooms are spacious and good mass produced food for the large conference. Many different types of stores on site from a convenience store, coffee shop, steakhouse, club looking restaurant, tiki bar, etc. vending on each floor I found it easy to find but apparently it's a thing that it's hard to find. Cons: This place is HUGE Parking is a bit pricy at $20/night or $15/night with the conference. With the nightly price, parking should be included. Smoooth Java is slow at service. It is what it is, but service was extremely slow, but the coffee is good! Coffee in the room Jack's Place - I understand it's a steakhouse and I was given a 50% dinner coupon for use my first evening. However after checking it out online- no prices were established. No way was I going to risk that. Post your prices so that you're not looking like you're taking advantage of visitors.

The Rosen Plaza Hotel is clean, pleasant and friendly. The rooms are clean, air conditioning fresh, and the lobby amenities strong with homemade pizza that is actually quite delicious! Is it approaching needing a few renovations? Sure, but considering that fact, they keep the property in tip top shape. Across the street is a nightlife area, movie theatre and tons of restaurants plus alternative attractions to the major parks such as WonderWorks, a kids STEAM museum. We will return!

Was here for a week-long conference, and my stay really was a mixed bag. Pros: -The location for conference stays really is perfect. Not only is it convenient to the shops, restaurants and attractions on International Drive, it is actually linked to the Orlando Orange County Convention Center, which is a huge plus. There is also a tremendous amount of meeting space within the hotel itself, which allowed our group to have meetings with smaller delegations in the hotel before moving over to the Convention Center to meet as an entire organization. -The pool area is very nice, although any areas with even a bit of shade are grabbed quickly. -All of the hotel staff were very kind, professional and competent. Cons: -I was in a "Double Double," and the room was extremely worn and dated. It was clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job, but the room itself is desperately overdue for a refresh. -F&B Staffing: All of the Food and Beverage stations, particularly the lobby bar, Jack's Place and Lite Bite Express were extremely understaffed and service was incredibly slow and inattentive. Everyone was very nice, just obviously overwhelmed. -Catering Services: Not great. The food for breakfast was exactly the same every day for all five days, and nothing remotely better than mediocre. The serving staff also had an annoying habit of circling the room with a literal bell 10 minutes before service was to end, except those 10 minutes gradually became 15 minutes, then finally 20 minutes before we were supposed to be out by Thursday. Very off-putting, particularly when our next meeting was mandatory attendance in the room next door daily, so it isn't as though there would have been any lingerers. -3NINE: There was an event here one night, and great googly moogly, Lord help you if your room is facing the club or if you have to walk through the lobby for any reason! Rock concert loud well into the morning hours. So, all in all, the Rosen served it's purpose, but I personally wouldn't pay to stay here myself. If you just need a place to stay before a conference at OCCC, the location is impossible to beat, but otherwise I'd probably look elsewhere.

If you don't follow your GPS like it's the voice of God, you'll drive past this place at least 10 times wondering if you're being pranked. Once you finally find it, though, you're in for a surprise. The hotel is attached to a magnificent steakhouse and gives off this classy vineyard-patio vibe that makes you feel like you're about to attend a wine tasting, even if you're just there for work like I was. Walking up, there are beautiful outdoor tables with glass tops where guests can relax, eat, and pretend they're important. Then you walk into the lobby and BAM dark wood floors, elegant furniture, comfortable sofas, and enough atmosphere to make you wonder, Wait what did I accidentally book? I was honestly concerned I'd somehow clicked the wrong hotel and was about to max out my credit card. Nope. Surprisingly affordable. The room? Fantastic. You've got a Keurig machine ready to fuel your caffeine addiction, a nice big TV, all the amenities you need, and then there's THE BED. Listen, I don't know if it's a pillow-top, a cloud-top, a Sleep Number, a NASA mattress, or if angels personally fluff it every afternoon, but that thing is dangerous. I laid down for what felt like five minutes and woke up the next morning. I slept harder than a newborn after a bottle. Now let's talk about room service. They have this little stand where you order directly from the steakhouse downstairs. I ordered dinner, expecting hotel prices that require a small bank loan. The bill was $35. I nearly called the front desk to report a pricing error. Meanwhile, I was hungrier than a hostage, and they delivered a meal fit for royalty. For a brief moment, I genuinely felt like a VIP. The hotel also has a nice bar for those who enjoy a drink. I don't drink, but if I did, I probably would've celebrated finally finding the entrance. Bottom line: great atmosphere, beautiful property, comfortable rooms, amazing food, affordable prices, and a mattress that may have supernatural powers. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Would I still need GPS to find it? Also absolutely.

I was even impressed to see the manager helping out in the restaurant area. Unfortunately, I had a frustrating experience on Saturday morning. I asked the front desk person if the shuttle could take me to the botanical garden just 5 to 8 minutes away and they seemed annoyed, unhelpful, and disinterested. How do you work at a hotel and not know that? Their body language left a bad taste in my mouth. If they had been the one to check me in, I probably would have left. We were able to go out and about without worrying about driving, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The hotel was easy to find, and parking is conveniently located right across the street with simple in-and-out access (though, of course, there is a parking fee -- which is never fun). Inside, the hotel is very clean, beautifully decorated, and the staff was accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was on the fifth floor, which I actually prefer when staying in a city -- the higher up, the better to avoid street noise. One of my favorite features of Embassy Suites is the room layout. The separation between the living room and bedroom is ideal, especially if someone wants to rest while others are still awake. The rooms have consistently been clean and feel very homey. Everything was great -- until Sunday morning. This is a dog-friendly hotel, which we love since we bring our dog and take her on walks so she's not stuck inside all weekend. However, checkout morning was pure chaos. One of the two elevators was out of service, it was peak checkout time, and there was also a princess pageant event happening, so the hotel was much busier than usual. Trying to get downstairs with my dog was extremely frustrating. I looked for stairs but wasn't sure if they were alarmed. When I asked an employee to confirm, she looked at me like I had five heads, which didn't help my already thin patience (I definitely did not have enough coffee for that situation). I eventually just went downstairs. Coming back up was even worse -- the line for the single working elevator was ridiculous. When I asked the front desk about the stairs, I was told they were accessible from outside. I didn't realize I needed my key card to re-enter through the outdoor stairwell (which makes total sense -- I was just aggravated at that point). After going back inside and trying again, I ended up walking up five flights of stairs with my dog. Thankfully, we had requested a late checkout, so we avoided the absolute peak of the chaos. Our friends on the third floor ended up carrying their luggage down the stairs because waiting for the elevator wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, being on the fifth floor with a lot of luggage, that wasn't really an option for us. Aside from that stressful morning, we really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary evening happy hour with drink tickets and small bites is always a highlight. We also had breakfast on Saturday morning -- and honestly, the breakfast is a major deciding factor whenever we choose to stay at a Hilton. Overall, a great stay with one very frustrating checkout experience.

The rooms give you that old 1960 vibes with a modern touch. The resort also featured some old vintage 1960 cars similar to the TWA hotel at jfk airport. The resort had some nice places to go to. Me and my wife enjoyed the bowling alley. We had a lot of fun. Don't forget about the shops with all your favorite carton characters t shirts hats slippers you name it Star Wars, the minions the Simpsons fun for kids all ages. We also enjoyed the cabana cafeteria . I had a spicy chicken sandwich with fries my wife had chicken teriyaki lomein full of nice pieces of chicken ,Which she enjoyed .I also had some chicken tenders and fries from the cafeteria on our stay. We also ordered food from door dash while we were in the main lobby. We ordered shake shack which was cheaper ordering from door dash then buying food on the resort, smash burgers well done with cheese fries, for a little vacation cheat because I'm on a diet. By the way the order came really fast. Don The pool was great especially at night the view was amazing. With the lights shining on the pool and the really nice fire pit they had so you can even roast some marshmallows by it. Also the pool features a water slide for kids and adults. The blow up rafts were $9to17. You also could bring your own as well. You also had an ice machine with cold water free. Plus you had the soft drinks and soda all you can drink for $30 . That was the drink packed. Cabana bay resort also had a restaurant right next the pool outside. Where they had some really good chicken quesadillas with fries. My wife enjoyed that. . I went with the chicken wrap with lettuce and some veggies, It was great to eat pool side with the beach chairs equipped with the big umbrella for shade . Then you also had the lazy river at the resort. That featured a bigger water slide and pool . Bigger than the pool outside the main lobby. The staff was courteous and friendly the stay was fun. Just remember it's kinda pricey . But don't forget about all the theme parks you get to visit for $80 each way .
