We stayed at Hotel Avenida Palace on our last night in Lisboa and I hate to say this but it did not…read morelive up to my expectations. We arrived at 7pm and the staff quickly checked us in with no issues. Once we got on our floor, we were a bit taken back by how old and dated the hotel was. The lights were also motion censored, so the hallway felt like a haunted house. Actually, the entire hotel felt like it was haunted. The rooms also left a lot to be desired, but we did have a semi decent view of the city. The bathroom was also very small and the shower was a bit complicated. We weren't in the room for long as we quickly changed, headed out to dinner, and by the time we came back, it was time to go to sleep for our flight the next morning.
Overall, they have an amazing staff, but the hotel really needs some TLC.
