We had a lovely stay. Our online booking price was very reasonable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was clean. The room wasn't large by any stretch but it worked well for us. Earplugs are always a must for me so I'm not sure how much sound travelled through the walls, but with the light earplugs, I was fine. The ambiance is so quaint and I absolutely love all the homages to Jazz history. The pools were clean and conveniently located in the courtyards. I appreciated the hours for the coffee service as well. Sometimes other hotels end coffee service earlier but I appreciated refills through noon. Overall, I would come back again without thinking twice.

Beware: Unsafe Conditions & Terrible Service These rooms may feel nostalgic, but that's about the only positive thing I can say. The windows are dangerously faulty--a guest in our party was actually injured due to a broken latch. The patio is slanted and unstable, giving the impression it could collapse at any moment. On top of that, the room smelled strongly of mold, making it completely uninhabitable. When we brought these serious concerns to the staff's attention, we were met with apathy. We ended up having to cancel our reservation due to the unsafe conditions and lack of any meaningful assistance. The front desk (and I use that term loosely) showed zero empathy and got an attitude when we asked about a refund. His only response was, "Call Expedia." A few days later, we spoke to a manager who claimed they only charged us a quarter of the original cost and were "monitoring the situation with Expedia"--his words. He then condescendingly explained they had to let the charge go through because they didn't know whether we had really left. Mind you, his own staff had watched us leave with all our luggage. He could've simply checked the room himself. It's clear where the front desk gets their attitude--this manager was dismissive, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional. Bottom line: If you value your health, your money, or your peace of mind--do not take a chance on this place.

I will recommend this hotel to my friends who don't have a lot of money to burn and don't expect constant attention. Like me they would be happy with a little refrigerator, microwave and a working air conditioner. A major bonus is the Quarter Grocery across the street with the best rice and beans I ever ate. Get a bottle of red wine there and the dine in front of the pool and enjoy life a while. Stop complaining and have some fun instead. I have read other less favorable reviews and I hope those guests find a very sterile and expensive alternative much closer to noisy Bourbon Street. Please leave Hotel St. Pierre to those who appreciate the laid back life of the French Quarter.

We booked a 2nd stay here to hangout with friends before our cruise 2025 Absolutely the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Night one we had no heat in the room with a large bug in the tub. I slept in my coat and gloves with temps of 62 in our room. They claimed the pour service was due to resent snow storm, but were not willing to accommodate us to another room or offer any discount. I will attach photos of the sheets and such. If you visit this amazing fun city do not use this hotel.

We stayed here two nights and really enjoyed this historic hotel. We were on motorcycles and they do charge for parking $25/day but unlike with the cars, they don't have anyone who can park your bike for you so you'll have to wait for the front desk staff to walk down and open the garage for you to park or to retrieve your bike. They did let us double stack the bikes into one spot so we didn't have to pay for two spots. I really enjoyed the pool. N'awlins is so dang hot, it's a heat unlike the southern heat we get in North Carolina...it's on another level entirely...just sucks the life out of you. I was really thankful for the 82º pool that was perfect to cool off mid day after being out walking around. The room we got was very tiny but comfortable, clean, and cozy. We had everything we needed, a fridge, cold AC, a king bed and two night stands as well as a dresser and closet. The light in our bathroom would randomly turn off while you were in the shower so we'd just leave the door open. The main door had a huge light and air gap you could see...we were here during moderate temps that might be a problem if it's over 100º. Also, there was a light outside our door that you couldn't turn off and without blackout curtains, it shined brightly into our room all night. We tried blocking some of it out with a towel. Breakfast is not included but coffee is so I was set. They do have a mini-market for snacks and there are some breakfast places within walking distance. We found this was a nice spot to walk around to Bourbon Street without being so close that you get all the noise, and not too far from the river delta. They have two hotel kitties Nola and Callie. Nola was born there 11 years ago on the property. They leave out food and water for her. Jerks with dogs would let their dogs eat her food by the pool and just laugh about the free meal for their dog. Also, they allow smoking at the pool so that was a bit annoying. I bought the kitties some wet cat food and treats to make up for the dogs eating their food. We didn't have any problems during our stay and loved all the history around the property. We got up early to check out and get on the road before rush hour, the girl at the front desk told us we had to wait 20 minutes to get our bikes out. This compounded the fact that we need a good 10-15 minutes to reload the bikes and strap everything down after unloading them, it was going to make us hit traffic which was what we were trying to avoid. Note: Our friends stayed in a room that the back wall faces the street and they could hear people walking by all night. Ask for a room inside the compound for a little less noise. All in all we enjoyed our stay and the location and we would stay here again.

Perfect. Sheer Perfection. The staff are beautiful kind people. Scott, Brett, Lawrence and Carla were so kind to me and my pup. The room is clean, great bed, great pillows. The ambiance is so special. Coming back for a week or two for certain! Thank you so much Hotel St. Pierre.

We booked this hotel based on the Yelp & Google reviews and Reddit recommendations…read more The only PRO of staying here is the location. It is very conveniently located to Bourbon Street. The 2 things I care most about when staying in a hotel is a comfortable night's rest and a good bathroom/shower. The bed in our room was the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on in my entire life. It was so mushy that when you laid your head down, you sunk so far into it that your legs were literally 45 degrees above your head. I ended up sleeping upside down in the bed with my head where your feet go in order to feel even remotely comfortable. The pillows were all extremely flat, when you put your head on one it sank so far your face was about 1/2 inch from the mattress. I had to use 3 pillows stacked on each other. I had a stiff back, neck and joints the entire time we were there. The 2nd issue was hot water. The first morning, we attempted to shower, it only got barely luke warm for me and when my husband showered immediately after he only got ice cold water. We stopped at the front desk that morning on our way out for the day and told the woman at the front desk. She said she hadn't received any other complaints so it must be specific to our room and she would send engineering there to look at it. (we were getting hot water in the sink). Later that evening when we returned to our room, we immediately tested the shower again and it was still ice cold. So we went back to the front desk to check if engineering had come. We spoke to the same woman from the morning who acted like it was the first time we were telling her this and she said the exact same thing. I asked if they were going to come ASAP because we needed to shower soon and we couldn't take ice cold showers. She ignored my question and answered the ringing phone. A manager happened to be at the desk and overheard our conversation. He asked what our room number was and said that because of the old building and the pipes the hot water takes longer to get there. He said this was a KNOWN Issue by the staff, management and the owner. He told us to run the shower for AT LEAST 15 to 20 minutes, simultaneously with the sink and it should get hot. He also offered to move us to a different room but when I asked if he could guarantee if we wouldn't have the same problem in that room he couldn't give me a straight answer. We had already unpacked everything and didn't want to go through that hassle without a guarantee. So we went back to the room and let it run for 20 minutes and it eventually got hot. So for the remaining 3 mornings, we had to set our alarms for 30 minutes earlier so we could get up and run our shower before hand. For nearly $300 a night, we felt that this was ridiculous. Old building or not, if its a problem, then either don't put people in those rooms, or get it fixed somehow. Why should anyone be subjected to an ice old shower or an inconvenience to their time because the owner hasn't done anything about it? We visited the hotel Bar, the Bourbon O'bar 3 times during our stay and each time we received TERRIBLE service. None of the bartenders were friendly to us, in fact they were pretty rude. Each time it took them at least 10 minutes to even take our order (by standing there and looking at us and not saying anything). The bar was not busy or crowded any of these times. They would then start making one of our drinks, put it down and make other people's drinks, leave and go into a back room, play on their cell phone, talk to each other, or carry the glass around while doing other things. My husband ordered an old fashioned and the alcohol was sitting in the jar with the ice for over 5 minutes while the bartender carried it around doing other things, causing it to get watered down. When making a cocktail, it should be completed from start to finish without doing other things in the middle. I ordered the Mardi Drop cocktail on 2 different days. The first time, it was actually very good. The 2nd time from a different bartender it was horrible .He also sprinkled probably a tablespoon of cinnamon on top of it (which the first didn't have) which made it nearly undrinkable. I had to stir it into the martini in order to not get a mouthful of cinnamon with each sip. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant Roux because of the bad Yelp reviews - we felt we could get a better breakfast elsewhere outside the hotel. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all unless you don't care about being comfortable or friendly service.

Open the French doors and the cacophony of Bourbon St. envelopes the room; it's everywhere. But close the French doors and it's quiet; how I don't know but perfectly comfortably quiet for us. Added bonus, this being Easter, our 4th floor balcony gave us such a fantastic viewing spot to watch the colorful sights coming down Bourbon heading to the gay Easter parade a few blocks away.
