I had my daughter's fifth birthday here and I had a great experience. First i have to say the girls i had run my party were very nice and attentive. They decorated the tables and step up everything for the birthday. They gave the kids hand sanitizer before they started the party activities. The kids started the party with inflatables, trampolines, balance beams and more! It was good for all ages and for boys and girls. The place was very festive and perfect for my daughters 5 year old party. They had the inflatable chair for my daughter which made her feel special. I would definitely recommend this place for a birthday party and its affordable. However, it is cash only for the birthday parties just fyi! read more

The one star is for the facility, it's wonderful. The staff was not bad, they were HORRENDOUS. I walked in and you would have thought I had killed their family pets with my bare hands. Besides receiving the nastiest looks on the planet, no one said so much as a hello nor introduced themselves. Acknowledged my children? Not a chance. Okay, a smile for the birthday girl? You guessed it. At this point I'm so uncomfortable, I offer to help set up to perhaps shift the energy. They deferred. We enter the gym and thankfully the kids were able to enjoy because as I said above, the facility is very nice. The staff members softened after my mother said something because frankly, it was upsetting. If you're a parent, you know birthdays are a huge milestone so a little kindness goes a long way in making the day special. Admittedly, I am probably too laid back and should have something but I was too stunned by their behavior. Forget the extra special touches that literally every other facility does such as music preferences of the birthday child, I didn't even want to interact because they were so unfriendly and wildly unapproachable. Party ends and you better believe they were vacuuming and spraying tables by the literal minute the party ended. My kids see their cousins about twice a year and I couldn't even enjoy the moment because I felt the eyes glaring for us to leave. I am imploring you to take your hard earned money elsewhere. I will gladly host your child's party myself to save you the experience we had. Never in my life have I experienced staff this rude in my 40 years of existence. What a heartbreak. read more

Mixed experience for two kids' birthday parties I went to. I think the kids themselves had a good time with the various activities - the giant blow-up slide and trampoline were popular. From an adult point of view, I had 2 concerns. Generally, the young women employees at these parties didn't seem very happy to be working at Hotshots and, at best, seemed to be going through the motions vs. being committed to making the kids have the best time possible. My child has attended The Little Gym, and the employees there are far more enthusiastic. My other concern - there's a steep set of stairs to the trampoline. At the bottom of the stairs there is no padding. I saw a 3 year old tumble down the stairs and fall on their face - and no employee even noticed. I'll likely plan my own kids' party elsewhere. read more

Last year the instructors (in particular marina) was great. The class size was appropriate. I was able to overlook the lack of cleanliness. This year the class size is huge and instructors are different. There is one instructor (she's blonde) that is nasty. The owner argues with you when you try to share your experience. This isn't the only gymnastics place in town. read more

My girls started here in the summer and they love it. The instructors really know what they are doing and seem to really love their job. They work hard to teach so go easy on em. Very affordable and flexible schedules. They do payment plans as well so you don't need to shell out everything at once. They do birthday parties really cheap and they hold open camps for when kids have off of school. You drop the kids off, they do crafts, gymnastics and they have bounce houses. Once a month they hold a "kids night out." I like to call it "regain my sanity for 3 hours." Members get a small discount on this. It's well worth the 40 bucks per child. Definitely consider Hot Shots if you want to start your kids off in this sport. read more

We have been going to hotshots for about 2 years now. My kids take classes there and in the past we had birthday party for my 3 year old. Things were good. Clean, organized and fun atmosphere. However, we had an incident where we were berated and verbally attacked by the manager and will not be returning. Well......my daughter had her 4th birthday party there last weekend. We saved our money so that she could have a great party with a nice cake and balloons at the place she loves (Hot Shots in Mineola). We arranged to have items delivered to the party. The cake and balloons. But apparently, we made the mistake of not giving Hotshots advanced notice of the delivery. We assumed it was standard practice to have things like food, favors, decorations delivered to a party venue. We should have notified them. Totally my fault. So, the food and cake arrived on time but the balloons arrived while the previous party was going on. Well apparently, this caused a great deal of distress and inconvenience for the manager (Not sure of her name, she is blond, wears glasses and probably in 50's). If I was alerted to this, I would have immediately apologized and come over to help handle the balloon delivery. When we arrived to drop off two kids off at Gymnastics yesterday the manager (blonde lady with glasses) made the poor business and personal decision to berate and reprimand us in loud aggressive tone in front of all of the other moms and dads and kids in the waiting room. She completely lost her temper. We couldn't believe what was happening. We were so shocked when she screamed that our balloon delivery was so inconvenient to them, that it almost ruined the previous birthday party and it had the girls in tears. She then went on to say, not only the balloons but the confetti we brought was a choking hazard for the kids. They were these golden stars sprinkled on the tables. We told her we wouldn't inconvenience her by having any future parties here and she went off the deep end. She began raising her voice even louder and shouting that she was done with us and she shoved our box of party items at us and walked away. We were so stunned. She represents this business and has every right to act like a mongrel toward a customer. I just have not experienced it before especially over something so small. Her degree of anger and her choice to berate us and in front of other children and customers was so inappropriate and unprofessional. Normally this would make me mad, but it was more concerning how bizarre this behavior was. Frankly I don't think this is a safe environment for kids. Do you want your children around this person? It is safe to say I will not bring my kids back to Hotshots. If a balloon delivery can make the blonde manager snap (sorry, I don't know her name) imagine what unruly excited little kids could do to her temper. We are also filing an official report with the Better Business Bureau. We save our money so that our kids can have a special birthday party and we chose hotshots. I am so sorry that we gave even a penny to this business. It is not a safe or friendly place for kids or parents. read more

Really great place and so reasonable in price for birthday parties and classes. Parties are well run and organized. My kids really enjoyed them. I love friendly staff who caters to kids and always aim to please. The staff always keeps the kids moving and enjoying themselves. My kids really look forward to their weekly class and they are excited to go to the camp there this summer as well! read more

We signed my 4yo daughter up with my sister's 2 kids for a 6 week class. It was conveyed to my sister that we could try the class for 2 weeks and get a refund, if my daughter did not like it. After 2 classes, my daughter did not take to the classes, so when I called around the 3rd week and spoke to the mgr. (Bernadette?) to ask for a refund, she stated that we had missed the cutoff which was RIGHT AFTER the 2nd class and we were out of the 'refund window'. I told her that was what the Reg. Fee was for and asked her what the difference was whether it was the 2nd or 3rd week. If my daughter stops going to the classes, I should get a refund for the classes that she doesn't attend - plain and simple. We even asked if we could transfer the credit to my niece and nephew. She said there's nothing that could be done and they were just going to keep my money. So essentially I paid $169 for 2 classes. Thank you very much, Hotshots! This is not how you should treat the kids, parents & community of your business. read more

I had my daughter in level 2 team for 2 years. First off it seems ANYONE can get into team. They seem to care more about $$$ then actually teaching these children. Most of the gymnastic places have a small group of kids this one has over 30 and half of them cant do a proper handstand. I have seen everytime I watch thru the glass the instructors chit chatting away not even caring what the kids are doing, not correcting them. I pulled my daughter out and now go to garden city was is 100 x better. Also they only have levels 2 and 3. There are kids in level 3 that have been there for 3 years. Ridiculous for the amount they charge over $1000 a year not worth it. read more

I love Hotshots West Gymnastics and so does my daughter. The coaches are awesome, friendly and great with the students. Hands-on instruction is given. They do a wonderful job teaching children to try their hardest based on their own ability and needs. She has learned so much so far. Thank you! read more

Excellent kid's birthday party venue! We had my son's 4th birthday party here. Huge, private play space with lots of activities including bounce houses and trampoline and gymnastics equipment and parachute games. Plenty of staff on hand throughout play area to supervise kids. All set up and clean up was taken care of by staff. My 2 minor negative comments would be that pizza and cake area could be a little bigger (crowded for the adults) and the party time could be longer. 90 minutes total. 60 in gym, 30 in food area. Would be better to have more than an hour to play, especially when some may arrive late. Overall, excellent. The kids had so much fun and parents could relax a bit. read more

I had my daughter's 2nd birthday party here, and what a great experience! The entire facility is yours, and the coaches did a fantastic job selecting age-appropriate activities for all the guests, who ranged in age from 1-10 years old. Activities included time in their two huge inflatables (bouncy house with slide and obstacle course), inflatable bounce track, trampoline, and trapeze. They also did some musical games and parachute time. The birthday girl (and her big sister) got to "fly" by being strapped into a harness over the tumble track and "fly" back and forth high in the air. The last half-hour the kids had pizza, juice, and cake. I provided cake and goody bags. Hot Shots provides pizza and juice for the kids, but I opted to bring my own snacks for the grown-ups and pay for additional pizza for them. What a fun party, and very reasonable price considering you can pay upwards of $400-500 for similar gymnastics/bouncy parties elsewhere. Would definitely book again! read more
