While it did not implicate the PAC Program in any way, the owner and staff members took the post seriously. They handled the situation professionally and took steps to ensure the integrity of the program and protect the children and even the accused. Understanding that individual's accounts are hacked every single day and that the accused stated that she had not made the post... and that it was being investigated by the proper authorities, the child deserved the full investigation and support throughout it. The child, the feelings of the participants and integrity of the program remained protected by the staff. The safety and support for everyone was taken in consideration. Their policies and procedures provides a safe and nurturing facility for our children. I know my child has stated how supportive the other children are. How they encourage and inspire each other to be better. How great the staff is in their support and pushing them to reach deeper! How inspiring and how amazing! Keep up the amazing work in providing our child with an amazing experience. I sincerely hope that they get to the bottom of things and that it is all a lie. To destroy a person's reputation is a serious offense! I would not want to be accused of horrible things. We worry about identity theft everyday. This is just as bad!!

We attended an "Eat and Play with Elmo" event, and unfortunately the experience fell short, especially given the $40 price. Parking is very limited, and the event felt oversold and overcrowded. The heat was not working, and with temperatures below 30 degrees outside, it was barely warmer inside. Most conversations among parents were about how cold everyone was, and many adults and children kept their coats and hats on the entire time. If the heat wasn't working, the event really should have been rescheduled. There were also safety concerns. The gate separating the play area from the rest of the space was not functioning and remained open the entire time. While I was putting away our shoes and diaper bag, my daughter slipped into the play area, which was unsettling. The Elmo costume itself looked great and was very realistic, but the character interaction was a major disappointment. The person inside the costume seemed disengaged and unhappy to be there. Elmo mostly stood in one spot and did not interact warmly with the children. There were no hugs, no pats on the back, and very little acknowledgment of the kids beyond an occasional half-hearted wave. For an event centered around meeting Elmo, the lack of enthusiasm and interaction was especially disappointing. Other moms I spoke to noticed the same thing The space itself is lovely, but for a $40 "Eat and Play with Elmo" event, this experience fell short of expectations.

My children begged me not to put them back the next year. There are problematic kids there that go unchecked. It's children watching children. Not to mention the older kids are mixed with younger kids during eating, which had my kids coming back home with inappropriate language. You get what you pay for here.

I had my son's 6th birthday party here. Had 16 kids ages ranged from 2 to 11 and they all had a…read moreblast. They can accommodate for up to 25 children however the office needs to be notified of how many kids will be officially attending the party a week in advance assuming they want to make sure they have enough people to assist with the games. Planning a head is key since this place tends to book up quite quickly because they are available Friday, Saturday and Sunday only for 1 hour and 45 minutes. You are able to arrive 10 minutes the earliest prior to the start time for set up since all they provide are tables and the garbage bin in the eating room. I had quite a few friends come in to help out with the set up which is highly recommended since it will be difficult to set up by yourself in 10 minutes. We had set up the water, juice, plate, forks, napkins, cups (a cup filled with black sharpie pens to write your names with on the drinks) and the party favors on 2 fold-able tables that you can easily access and set up yourselves. The main table which are 2 benches placed side by side are already set up which is where we had the balloons attached and table cover set up as well. On the opposite side of the room which is right across from the windows of where you can see into the gym, has a long sitting bench starting from one end to the other end of the wall. Above that, there are hooks going across as well which made it extremely convenient for guests to hang their bags and coats. There is also a boys and girls bathroom (single use) and they do have a fridge but not available in the same room since I gave the cake to the worker and saw him take it down to the lower lever (gym area) to another room but brought it back out when it was time for cake. As for food, in my opinion, since it is a short time, it's best to provide food that is quick in easy for kids to eat, such has chicken tenders, french fries, sandwiches, chips, etc. I decided to go real easy and order pizza AND have it delivered at the time the kids would be eating so that it would be warm. I had the kids eat first which took about 20 to 30 minutes and they played for about an hour and returned for cake for the last 15 - 20 minutes we had left. The sports that the kids played were soccer, hockey and dodgeball. Keep in mind the majority of the kids were 5 to 6 so I wouldn't really consider them playing a sport but more of them having the freedom to run around a large space with balls and sticks. I am assuming if the kids were older, the 2 coaches (teenagers) would be more engaged during the game play but with my kids, they basically provided the equipment, music and made sure when it was time, they moved on to the next sport. At times, I felt that they could at least toss the balls back into the center but they would either just stand and watch or be on their phones. But nothing to really be upset about considering the kids were having fun either way. Few of the adults went to the end of the court and played some basketball. Overall, it was an experience and yes, I could have easily booked a party at chucky cheese or bouncy house/trampoline house but in my personal opinion, though it was work for me to bring everything in, it was private and the space of the gym was so huge, it didn't feel as hectic as the other party places and it was nice to be able to just sit, eat and watch while the kids played. Cost wise, depending on how you spend, it may come out the same but it definitely shouldn't be more since this place does not charge based on number of kids. The rent space is a flat fee of $300.00 (check only). So if you are someone who has 20 kids for a party, you know that just the kids alone will cost you double that fee plus more since you pay extra for food for adults, favors, etc. TIPS: If ordering pizza, order it from Previti & Papazzio located at 2085 Hillside Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040 (516-354-2354) since they offer a small discount on the order if you have it delivered to the center. I would recommend the kids to eat first so that during the time kids are playing, the adults can watch from above and eat the remaining food (since most parents don't get to eat when the kids are eating) and when the parents are done, you have the opportunity to start cleaning up and even have the guest pack left overs (bring aluminium foil). You can also start bringing things to the car so that later on you have less to carry out. I had a sheet cake but if I were to do it over again, I would have went with cupcakes because you save time cutting the cake and serving it to everyone where as for cupcakes, guests just take as they please and it's faster to eat as well. Lastly, be on time since there are other parties before and after you. So you have to be out of the room, all guests, cleaned up and cleared out ON TIME. Delegating is key (let your friends help). Best Advice: Keep the party as simple as possible! Less is more :)

They even had a little photo shoot in the back area in front of a pink carpet and Pink Ritzy Glitzy Girls Club back splash, almost like being in an award show. The staff was very nice and worked really hard to make the girls feel good. The girls were so excited and happy that they will talk about their experience for weeks. They also made lip gloss and lotion. The "club" had pink plush chairs and a pink plush theme that seems perfect for little girls.

Even as a strong type A Bride who is extremely organized and prepared, Raquel asked the questions I didn't think of to FULLY prepare for the wedding. After the first meeting, it was like a huge weight was lifted off our shoulders. She brought an incredible sense of calm, professionalism, and organization to our wedding day, exactly what we needed. She also shared her industry knowledge for ideas, recommendations, and proper etiquette. She kept in contact with all our vendors before the wedding, days leading up to the wedding, and the day of the wedding. Raquel truly took the time to learn my husband and I, to fully understand what was important to US on our wedding day. Her preparation ensured all our vendors worked seamlessly together. Raquel managed to be everywhere at once, always a step ahead, always with a smile. We worked with Raquel on our invitations, mirrored seating chart and mirrored welcome sign. Overall Platinum Affairs executed on all assigned tasks and everything came out nicely. However, during the process, we felt like we needed to follow up and stay on top of them. Raquel seemed overwhelmed and maybe a bit burnt out. The Meetings We met with Raquel a few times over the process to finalize details and make payments. She was not pushy and honored our requests. We wanted simple invites, and new the style of mirrors we wanted. Over the course of 6-8 months, each visit she forgot who we were and we had to reintroduce ourselves. It took away from the experience. The Service Our Invites were ordered about 8 months from our wedding date and arrived about 6 months from our wedding date. I was a bit annoyed because our original choice was out of print and we were told this one was in stock and affordable. After making our order and reviewing our proofs, Raquel and her team called to let us know we had to decide immediately on our proofs because the vendor was running low on the card stock and may not be able to print our order. Our mirror and seating chart were ordered at the same time. We had to provide the text, names and fonts about 10 days prior to the event. We actually followed up with them because no one contacted us. Once we were in touch, everything was finalized. One nit to pick, they do not alphabetize the seating charts and you do need to review your proofs. I noticed a few formatting errors when reviewing my own. Card box was just as we asked. No complaints there. Verdict Platinum Affairs was okay. Service was good, but not great. Prices were reasonable.
