From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly and ushered into the cocktail hour room, that had a wonderful display of delicious appetizers and beverage options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The grounds are stunning and with the recent snow it was magical.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once the rest of the wedding party arrived we were all moved upstairs to a private room were the wedding took place, it brought tears to my eyes on how beautiful it was.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Afterwards we all moved to the ballroom, intimate and decorated with flowers, linens and yet another table of cold apps.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Wedding menu consisted of 8 choices from filet mignon to roast duck, I had the duck the Best Man, (Hubby) had the filet mignon). Food was delicious, cooked perfectly and and the drinks were heavenly. The Westbury Manor is just a few minutes from my house and I just love coming here for all the different events I either get invited to, or am working at as a photographer. The Manor has a rich history that goes back over 125 years. Doing some research I read this: "The Titus House was built in the early 1880s. In 1910, John R. Hill purchased the large eighteen room estate and stable with a twenty acre tract of land from George P. Titus. The house was so solidly constructed that the interior partitions were filled with sand and bricks. The interior woodwork was all heavy walnut." [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can feel the history as soon as you walk in. It is wonderful to be able and use some of these old rooms for entertaining. My personal favorite is the Library[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. So... in terms of today. The staff here is wonderful, friendly and extremely helpful. They have even been able to make some minor modifications to a dinner order at a party. Simply, they care. Food is always tasty-fresh and most importantly hot... They have a certain formula here and it works very well. When I come as a guest I usually have their shrimp dish. I always enjoy their creative entrees. My wife has been addicted to their steak and she is always happy with the plate she gets. Fresh meats and fishes. Could you ask for more. I recently went to Westbury Manor for my nephews wedding. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The grounds are beautiful and perfect for a wedding.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff were very nice and professional. My only problem was the food and the dj. The appetizer hour was fine food was pretty good, but not great. For the main course they offered 4 choices, I selected the filet mignon. First they switched mine and my daughters meal, I ordered medium rare she ordered well done. I found the steak barely ok definitely not to my liking, and that is the first time I can say that about filet mignon. From the very beginning, the entire staff at Westbury Manor was absolutely amazing and beyond helpful. From booking our wedding, to patiently answering all of our questions, to letting us drop off everything the week before, they made the process stress-free. Like many a review of Westbury Manor, I found myself here for a wedding. I understand how one's experience depends highly on their specific event, and on top of that the experience of the brides and grooms could be totally different from the guests. I'm reviewing this as a guest, so I'll do my best to keep it in that lens. Getting to Westbury Manor is easy enough, and parking is simple with valet greeting you (though I believe you can also self park). [[HIGHLIGHT]]The grounds are gorgeous - think lots of gardens with the manor itself donned in brick and classic fixtures.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is definitely able to be set up so multiple events can be held simultaneously - as there are several rooms in addition to the outdoor area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Speaking of the outdoor area, it was quite lovely - honestly you could have an entire event out here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior was pretty as well - it fit a decent amount of us but still felt kinda intimate and cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was good - the place was well staffed and all the courses came out at a good pace. My now wife and I just had a wonderful wedding at Westbury Manor and could not be more pleased with the experience. Their team was incredible, especially our bridal attendant, Claudia, and the maître d', Evelyn. This was a two bride wedding and Claudia was like our personal superhero! We both felt so cared for and pampered on our big day. Everyone at Westbury made sure that we were in the best hands, but we cannot thank Claudia and Evelyn enough. The staff here goes above and beyond. I've never experience such warm and welcoming people. These people know what they're doing, and it shows in their work. We would like to especially thank Ian Azouz we met him, He showed us the place. We instantly hit it off and without hesitation we booked same day any questions issues he was always professional, kind and understanding. My dress had a bustle which would transform my dress into a different type of dress so it wouldn't be so big and not such a long train and the person who was appointed to do that on my wedding party got sidetracked helping gather all the people in the wedding party for photos, so Evelyn and Susana instantly and I kid you not. It felt like 10 seconds fixed my dress buttoned it up nicely and I was able to show my second look and not Miss a beat. I had a very big dress and my groom is a wonderful groom, but has two left feet and by mistake stepped on my dress and ripped it, it happens. It's OK and I let them know what happened and they instantly helped me and they knew what to do and I was back on the dance floor with no problem. If you're thinking about booking this place just go for it. They're very respectful. They're a great vibe and they know how to match you with who they believe would match better with you. The little bit of food that we were able to eat cause we were getting pulled left and right was very delicious. All of our guest keeps complementing us and telling us how amazing everything looked and tasted drinks were on point staff was on point. Recently had my wedding here and I cannot recommend this venue enough! The staff and our maitre d Phil were amazing! Even though it the weather was iffy they made the entire event beautiful and everything went flawless. Their staff were very helpful with our vendors and had great communication. We also brought a lot of props and they were able to display them perfectly. Our family and friends had a great time and the food was amazing. Although we were very busy during the event Evelyn our bridal assistant was able to get us one of everything so we wouldn't miss out. For vegetarian option this is not a good place to go. Recently we had holiday party over there and they provided few steam cooked big chunks of vegetable and full potato with no seasoning on it as a vegetarian option. Some vegetables were sopiled. I do not suggest this place. read more

Absolutely stunning atmosphere. We attended a corporate event here and were blown away by the beautifully manicured gardens. Make sure you take time to walk around since there are photo ops and gems in multiple spots. Our daughter loved exploring and watching the fish swim around in the water. The food was delicious- cocktail hour outside had a plethora of options including raw and cooked vegetables, fruit, cheese and bread boards. Additionally, the bar had great options. Once we went inside for our main meal, we enjoyed looking in the different rooms and the atmosphere of each. Our entrees were good, the filet mignon had a certain spice to it that was a bit different but still good! And the Oreo dessert was fantastic. Came here for a wedding in June and the staff and setting was really nice. The venue was nice and cozy and even though there were a decent amount of people, it felt like a quaint gathering. The ceremony and cocktail hour were outside and the buffet was set up nicely. Covid protocols were followed as well. There was also a garden area to enjoy. We had a room across from another room with a bar and this other room was also where the desserts were laid out. The food was pretty good and the set up was nice and didn't feel cramped. The individual bathroom stalls were a nice touch too especially now, so that you can wash your hands in your own space and then go outside to touch up. Should you get married anywhere- GET MARRIED HERE. I have had every event so for my now, husband and I, LOVED IT. We dealt with Ian to start off with, he is amazing and wants to make sure that your vision works. We worked with Lana and Sandra- both incredibly responsive and amazing. Everyone wants you to walk out of there happy. The fact we were planning all of this throughout COVID needless to say, they made things so easy and so so seamless. For our flowers, we used the flowers at the Westbury Manor and Gary is also not short of AMAZING. He knew exactly what I wanted, with the very few words that I was using. I am not a flowers girl but he nailed it and I loved everyone's flowers. I could not have been happier to see our final look from the cocktail hour to reception. Day of we had the BEST bridal attendant, Kelly, and Maître D' was Phil. BLOWN AWAY. They kept us happy and moving the whole whole time. They were so attentive, so easy to work with, and whatever we needed they were there. If anyone is able to help you with your needs- they are the BEST DUO to have! REQUEST THEM!! You will not even know if anything even goes wrong that night. They stayed with us from the moment we arrived until my very late night meltdown to make sure that we were happy. Never witnessed something like this before. I couldn't wait to get here because I got hungry right around my time-to-eat, that's right. When we got there we were escorted to a reception room with nice snacks, coffee and juice, in case no one eats yet. I was looking for a real deal so I didn't eat here except some juice and waiter. Then we were escorted to the ceremony area. The ceremony took place outside, in the garden, how cool is that? Actually it was a warm day. The bride and groom looked fantastic! After the ceremony they led us to the garden of heaven. Yes, heaven when I finally get to see the real deal, real food! Here we got to enjoy the buffet, plenty of food. I thought the buffet had slightly better food than the menu food. That's not the end, there's more. After the garden, which I was already feeling pretty full, we finally headed to the big deal, more food! OMG! Somebody get me out of here! Had my wedding here a few months ago and long story short I just wish they did better. I was very happy with my maitre d and bridal attendant on the day of, but in hindsight I was talking with the matrie d at my wedding more than some of our guests. It felt like they had something big to talk to me about every half hour or so. They did not honor the colors of the tablecloths for cocktail hour. Chairs were missing. I was not impressed with the dinner. At the end of the day there was a dispute about paying an additional $800 which was infuriating considering we paid them over 20K and the charge was not justified. I had a great time at my wedding despite a few of the obstacles. The grounds are beautiful and the waitstaff was excellent! If I had to do it all over again, it would not be here. read more

I have been here easy 15-20 times for various events throughout the years. From weddings to fundraisers, this place is perfect. I have come 2-3x a year the past 5 years for various events. I am a Freemason, and many of our clubs have special events here. I cant recommend this place enough. From the beautiful grounds to the staff and food, they really make sure that everything is as nice as possible. One of my favorite items for appetizers is their sliced steak and corned beef. I was there recently and the corned beef was a little dry... The salads used to come with a pear, but this time around we were all missing it. Their steak for dinner is always amazing as well! I am not a fan of their chocolatey gravy for the steak.... It really does not go with it. I sadly haven't tried any other options, I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy. We used to get this unique Oreo cheesecake ice cream kind of thing for dessert that I miss! I don't know what it was, but it was amazing. Our pod of pals was definitely a bit skeptical about Westbury Manor after a heated debate on the shuttle about which type of establishment is more classy, a manor or an estate. It's no wonder there are so many estate sales and so few manor sales. Manors are so in and estates are so out in 2024. What can I say about Westbury Manor that hasn't been said already? Well, to be honest, a lot. There are not that many Yelp reviews. Nobody asked us for an ID all night which was great because my fake got confiscated at Bowlero earlier in the day. Didn't realize that it was illegal to have a Dirty Shirley at the local alley but, apparently, you need to be 21 in Westbury to have a good time. What a bunch of wet blankets. So after a quick trip to the restroom and an even quicker call to my mom on one of the complimentary pay phones to let her know I'd arrived safely at Westbury Manor, we found ourselves in a race against time and by time, I mean the start of the wedding ceremony. Needless to say our group put the FASHUN in fashionably late because we got escorted right up to the second row like a bunch of GD B-list celebrities (think Kit Harington or Alexandra Daddario). [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ceremony was nothing short of epic and the cocktail hour felt more like a cocktail minute - time flies when you're having fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had no reason to worry about the DJ's lack of Touch Tunes because he brought the house (manor) down with a mesmerizing mix of Abba, Lit, Ke$ha (glitter in her eyes era; strictly the hits), and, last but certainly not least, Mr. 305 himself. A lesser wedding would have ended when some of the stranger guests started gyrating on the dance floor with chairs but thanks to a collective 'can do attitude', a great deal of Christmas spirit, and a questionable amount of alcohol consumption, the party not only continued - it got better. Don't act so surprised. As if the night couldn't have been any more epic, Table 3 won the superlative for Most School Spirit in a landslide. While it would have been nice to have been awarded the cash prize we were promised by the father of the bride, perhaps the greatest prize of all was the friends we made along the way. Our daughter and son in law had their wedding here yesterday, It was top notch! I am a nurse in Queens and my husband is a school counselor in Manhattan for children with special needs. We were originally supposed to get married at Westbury Manor on June 28th, 2020, but had to work through the pandemic instead. My husband is careful and hygienic in his work setting, but still ended up contracting COVID-19 during the pandemic. Luckily, he survived and did not make any of his students or loved ones sick. At the end of March 2020, working as a nurse through this pandemic, I had to put aside planning our final wedding details and focus on serving my community. With the help of my closest family, my husband and I were married in my mother's backyard with less than 20 people in attendance, while adhering to the strict COVID-19 guidelines. We debated whether or not to reschedule the wedding reception or to cancel at Westbury Manor. Each time we contacted Westbury Manor or they contacted us during the pandemic, we asked about cancelling our event, but we were told that wasn't an option each time. We would lose all of the money we deposited (about $13,500 altogether). In fact, upon rescheduling during the pandemic, they asked for an additional $3000 deposit, which was eventually waived. Therefore, we rescheduled our event for June 13th 2021. However, since the beginning of the year, it was clear that about half of our guests would not be able to make it as they live in other countries, where vaccines are less available and travel policies are still changing constantly. Many of our local guests are elderly, as well. We did not feel safe or comfortable holding our rescheduled event. Many details were still uncertain, such as: number of guests allowed, precautions needed, safety procedures, and whether or not dancing would be permitted. In March, Westbury Manor told us that we would not be getting a refund because they could not book another event during our date on such short notice. After several exchanges, and reminding them that we have been asking about cancellations since the beginning of the pandemic, they offered us an "exception" of giving a $3500 refund. Unfortunately for us, we didn't realize that there is no Acts of God clause or Force Majeure provision in the contract. To anyone who is getting married in the future and currently reading this, please look for this clause in your contracts! We are NOT lawyers and certainly not offering legal advice, but from what we can tell, it covers things outside of our control, such as natural disasters like the pandemic. As of right now, we're not really sure where we stand. As of last week, our banquet manager was on vacation. We think the event has been cancelled, but who knows? Westbury Manor is a small business, and many relief options are now available for them, not even counting losses that can be claimed when filing taxes. As individuals, we will not be able to reclaim any of our lost deposits. As far as I know, small claims courts in Long Island will award only up to $5000 in damages. Hiring a lawyer to pursue further action may cost as much money as we've lost in total, and require a lot of time, as well. We understand that they are a business that has undoubtedly been affected by the pandemic, but we have been hurt, too. To date, we have not received any money back from Westbury Manor. Just got back from a wedding, venue is nice, service is good. Food however is absolute shit. Cocktail hour the cheese tasted stale and reused, the roasted pig meat was dark brown and dry, not a sign of freshly roasted. During the banquet I had the duck and it tasted funky, texture like cardboard dry freezer burned, old and disgusting. I saw many plates of the duck also being sent back uneaten so I was def not the only one. My brother had the filet mignon which he told me also tasted like its been in the freezer for months. Gf had seabass, it had no taste at all. Seems like they were unloading old stock at our party. Worst of all I woke up in middle of night with intense stomach pains. Definitely caught food poisoning. read more

I just got married here this weekend and I just wanted to say thank you so much Westbury manor for everything.I have not one complaint and there is not one thing I would have wanted to go differently. The grounds outside are so beautiful. Your ENTIRE staff was so AMAZING. Our day was everything we ever dreamt about became true because of Westbury manor. Rodolfo is great!!! My flowers my centerpieces my cake my welcome table was everything I wanted and more. Rodolfo is soo talented. Claudia and Phil my matire D and bridal attendent were honestly so incredible you are so lucky to have amazing workers. Claudia and Phil were there every step of the way anything anyone needed they were right there. Claudia and Phil really made my dream wedding come true, honestly I dont think I would of made it by without them. From Claudia sewing gowns, taking out stains, to cleaning my dress, fixing my bustle, making sure I was ok, giving me icepacks, fans. Phil making sure everything went smooth that everything was perfect and it truly was. I loved the timeline and every single moment because of phil it was perfect. literally anythinng and everything Claudia and Phil were right there. They made sure my husband and I ate and always had a drink. I dont have enough words to say how amazing Claudia and Phil were and you can tell they truly love there jobs. EVERY guest that attended had nothing but amazing things to say about Westbury Manor from start to finish. The food was incredible and chef tony is unbelieveable. Nobody can stop talking about how much delicious food there was. Every station was beautiful and so tasty. In the hands of chef Tony you can truly not worry about food. every vendor westbury manor recomennded was great. We used Body Rock Dj and our Dj And Mc were so amazing the dance floor was packed all night. Westbury Manor is located in old Westbury, New York. This is a Scotto brothers establishment and this particular one is run and owned by Jerry Scotto. It's quaint, beautiful and I got a great vibe the moment I entered it's doors. They have a Wonderful restaurant called the Polo lounge inside which has the same fabulous food and live music daily. At Westbury Manor there are about six rooms for parties so any size you have for your event they will be able to accommodate. It's an old Victorian mansion and has been a catering hall since I believe the late 1940s. The staff are friendly, courteous and very professional! there's a coat check a beautiful fireplace and parties for upstairs & downstairs. And I have to mention their price point is awesome! I definitely have to say you get more than what you pay for at Westbury Manor. And the grounds are most incredible. I would probably say the best in Long Island or the five boroughs. There are flowers and trees and lights end it makes for such a beautiful ambience for any occasion and celebration. They used to have several peacocks walking around but unfortunately some of them tended to wander the neighborhood so now they only keep 1 and his name is Poppy. They have valet parking, bathroom attendants and their food is the most delicious authentic Italian food you'll come by. The Scotto brothers are first-generation Italian American family and the head chef is from Italy. They focus so much on hospitality that I truly believe it's impossible for anyone to have a bad experience at this catering hall. Their house DJ body rock is absolutely incredible I watched him do a wedding and a sweet 16 and they have everything on point. My daughter is having her sweet 16 here at the end of the year and I can't wait to give the rave reviews and show lots of photos. I know I won't be disappointed. read more

Just wanted to THANK all staff for your hard work in making my daughters wedding on July 4th so beautiful & wonderful. Every single guest had a fun & memorable experience. In spite of the pandemic & losing seasoned staff you pulled it off flawlessly. What an amazing spread & selection of foods for breakfast, cocktails & dinner! Your recommendations for the officiant, photographer, florist & DJ did not disappoint. The officiant made it a meaningful ceremony, the photographer so easy going & natural. The DJ/MC captured the spirit of the affair. He was outstanding. He got everyone up & on the floor & in a jubilant mood.whether dancing or not. The flowers were gorgeous.
