I recently went to Westbury Manor for my nephews wedding. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The grounds are beautiful and perfect for a wedding.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff were very nice and professional. My only problem was the food and the dj. The appetizer hour was fine food was pretty good, but not great. For the main course they offered 4 choices, I selected the filet mignon. First they switched mine and my daughters meal, I ordered medium rare she ordered well done. I found the steak barely ok definitely not to my liking, and that is the first time I can say that about filet mignon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dj was extremely loud way too much for me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I do have to say the dj was not from the Westbury Manor my nephew ordered him. I have to say overall i gave them 3 stars as the food was a real let down.

They added my dog . I was so happy to see him on our cake

From the very beginning, the entire staff at Westbury Manor was absolutely amazing and beyond helpful. From booking our wedding, to patiently answering all of our questions, to letting us drop off everything the week before, they made the process stress-free. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On the actual wedding day, they created a true fairytale for us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Claudia, my bridal attendant, was a dream--she took care of me every single step of the way, from the moment I stepped onto the party bus until it was time to leave. She made sure everything was perfect throughout the entire day. Joaquin, our maître D, was phenomenal. He kept everything running seamlessly--from getting dressed at the Manor, to photos, to cocktail hour, to the reception--every transition was flawless, and we felt so special. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food, the ambience, and most importantly, the people made this day unforgettable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A huge shoutout to Gus, who made us feel like we'd known him forever. By the end of the night, we felt like we had made new friends. We cannot recommend Westbury Manor enough for anyone looking for a magical wedding venue. We'll definitely be back at the Polo Lounge to celebrate our one-year anniversary--and of course, to say hi to Poppy the peacock!

Service is so good I'd go back for a stranger's party. George was great. Even when some of the guests were problematic, he kept it cool. He was very personable. The mansion is a beauty, and the food was pretty good, too.

We (Carlos & Jerry) would love to thank all of the staff at Westbury Manor who helped us bring our wedding vision to life. We celebrated our wedding 5-5-2025 (cinco de Mayo/Luffy's birthday). The staff here goes above and beyond. I've never experience such warm and welcoming people. These people know what they're doing, and it shows in their work. We would like to especially thank Ian Azouz we met him, He showed us the place. We instantly hit it off and without hesitation we booked same day any questions issues he was always professional, kind and understanding. We want to tell George thank you for being amazing and we love his voice so much he's just a vibe! We wanna thanks Sandra who helped us as well, the beautiful bartender she was so sweet. We especially want to thank Evelyn our maître, D and Miss Susanna. We instantly hit it off. They are extremely kind awesome understanding and all around helpful people I highly recommend. I was very nervous. I was crying. I was all over the place so many emotions and they knew exactly what to do to keep me calm. Anything I needed no hesitation very professional. They made sure we ate even if we were very nervous they kept us on schedule. We got to be present In moment and also not miss out on anything. Westbury Manor is very lucky to have these special staff they are what makes Westbury feel like you're part of the family. This place was worth every single penny not one single detailed Missed or overlook. They think of everything they have a back up plan for the back up plan for the backup plan. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our original ceremony was supposed to take place out in the garden, but unfortunately it rained so they had a Plan B and had our ceremony inside and it was gorgeous!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will forever be grateful to the staff members mentioned and also to the behind the scene people who helped achieve this as well thank you everyone. They pay attention they notice I was not eating and Miss Susan took the time while I was taking single photos to tell me I needed to eat to make sure I would not pass out and she brought me something to snack on to make sure I was OK at all times and so did Evelyn. One of the wedding party who was supposed to hold our little flower girl came late and the staff was very understanding and kind enough to hold onto her in order for us to be able to enjoy our wedding ceremony peacefully with no interruptions. Evelyn Susanna Those two are the dynamic duo. My dress had a bustle which would transform my dress into a different type of dress so it wouldn't be so big and not such a long train and the person who was appointed to do that on my wedding party got sidetracked helping gather all the people in the wedding party for photos, so Evelyn and Susana instantly and I kid you not. It felt like 10 seconds fixed my dress buttoned it up nicely and I was able to show my second look and not Miss a beat. I had a very big dress and my groom is a wonderful groom, but has two left feet and by mistake stepped on my dress and ripped it, it happens. It's OK and I let them know what happened and they instantly helped me and they knew what to do and I was back on the dance floor with no problem. If you're thinking about booking this place just go for it. They're very respectful. They're a great vibe and they know how to match you with who they believe would match better with you. The little bit of food that we were able to eat cause we were getting pulled left and right was very delicious. All of our guest keeps complementing us and telling us how amazing everything looked and tasted drinks were on point staff was on point. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone had a good time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Westbury Mannor recommended other vendors to use and I kid you not every single one of them amazing. I highly recommend this place and I really want to tell everyone we appreciate you and thank you so much Mr. Carlos and Jerry Rivas.

I have been this venue before in the past. This place is always welcoming with friendly service and staff members. The food was fresh, tasty and delicious. The decor blends well with the atmosphere and ambiance of the this catering hall. Beautiful places to take pictures throughout the venue.

Recently had my wedding here and I cannot recommend this venue enough! The staff and our maitre d Phil were amazing! Even though it the weather was iffy they made the entire event beautiful and everything went flawless. Their staff were very helpful with our vendors and had great communication. We also brought a lot of props and they were able to display them perfectly. Our family and friends had a great time and the food was amazing. Although we were very busy during the event Evelyn our bridal assistant was able to get us one of everything so we wouldn't miss out. Overall had a great time and hope to come back again for someone else's wedding.

Absolutely stunning atmosphere. We attended a corporate event here and were blown away by the beautifully manicured gardens. Make sure you take time to walk around since there are photo ops and gems in multiple spots. Our daughter loved exploring and watching the fish swim around in the water. The food was delicious- cocktail hour outside had a plethora of options including raw and cooked vegetables, fruit, cheese and bread boards. Additionally, the bar had great options. Once we went inside for our main meal, we enjoyed looking in the different rooms and the atmosphere of each. Our entrees were good, the filet mignon had a certain spice to it that was a bit different but still good! And the Oreo dessert was fantastic. I've been raving about this place since we were able to attend and hope to come back soon!

If I can give it 7stars I would. The drinks were fantastic and the bartender Pete was superb nice, so go to westbury manor

Food is great, restaurant manager is not. Ignored us when we needed to check out as he was talking to friends at a table next to ours. We usually tipped him $20 cash (for nothing) but this time we didn't. We had to wait for our check for over 40 minutes! After 40 years of partying and weddings and hundreds of dinners it's sadly goodbye to the Westbury Manor.

Came here for a wedding, leaving wanting to get married here all over again! Ambiance was perfect, perfect jazzy feels and chill vibes Food was great, from appetizers to dinner options *chef's kiss* Service was great. Talk about almost scripted!

I attended a 50 th birthday party here. Very classic venue. I enjoyed what I was seeing from the moment i stepped out of the car to the event room. The decor is my kinda taste. The party planner in charge was very accommodating. Nice choices of food during the cocktail hour. Drinks were served at point. The food on the main room was delicious as well. I loved that the event planner in charged took time asking how everyone was doing and how each one find the food. My friend definitely picked the right place for the celebration. The party room is perfect for the number of attendees especially with the right size of the dance floor. The place is highly recommended.

It's dark and dingy but is accompanied with a full size bar and table seating. The upstairs room is spacious with a full bar and nicely maintained bathrooms. They provide both tables and chairs. The lighting and placement of tables/ DJ set ups can be worked with easily. The food is catered Italian. VERY good. Decent menu selection for the cost. Basic price per person includes wine/beer and soft drinks. The guy (can't remember his name/I think Tom?) that you arrange details and bookings with, is easy to get in touch with and explains well what the place and prices offer. HOWEVER only ONE of the 4 plus workers that work the bar and clean up- is very nice and social. The rest are quiet and don't want to be "bothered" is the vibe they give off. The bartender for my moms birthday was the worsttt with his attitude! I paid for half the party and even I felt uncomfortable asking for another soda! Everyone I came into conversation with had noticed and had something to say about him. It wasn't at all enjoyable having his service. I wish I got his name and the name of the one guy that was very pleasant. *Overall, for the price and food- I would book another event here.*

They took care of us as if we were family!!!…read more From the moment, we walked into the Jericho Terrace to secure a location, until the closing out of our event, Sophia and Chad responded to our every question, with patience, and genuine kindness and were charitable in making suggestions that they knew and understood would make the moment everything we wanted and needed it to be for our mother. They took care of us as if we were family!!! Chad and Sophia were thoughtful, responsive and authentic in ensuring that our vision of creating a memorable experience in the celebration of our mother's 90th birthday was not just met but that it would exceed expectations, and, indeed, the afternoon celebration did just that! The responses from our guests have been overwhelmed with positivity, with raves about the beauty of the venue from the moment they entered the property, starting with the parking lot filled with the colorful, lush bushes and flowers and the bridge to the beauty of the space within welcomed by the pianist while further in a pond of giant colorful goldfish. The conversation has not stopped about the kindness of the staff or how wonderful the food tasted with its variety of choices. Let's also not forget the magnificent cake created by their on-site baker who also brought our request to life with the divine red-velvet cake with butter-cream frosting complimented with an additional, lavish buffet-style selection of desserts with an ice-cream cart thrown in for good measure!!! Lee, our Maître D, executed in excellence as she helped us to navigate the ebbs and flows of the afternoon program including when things did not go as we had scripted. Her expertise assisted in keeping us on task, so it felt seamless!! Special thanks also to our mom's attendant, Melissa. Thank you for the gentle care you provided to our mom. So appreciated and will never be forgotten... The staff, the ambiance, the warmth, the kindness and helpfulness thru ought the experience from start to finish continues to resonate in an impactful way... Thank you, Jericho Terrace, for making a dream come true and for giving our mother a 90th birthday celebration that collectively, we will never forget!! Coming here was certainly a treat. The venue is not far from my home in Mineola (which is also a positive.) A very easy ride and I self parked in the large lot behind the CC. I love photographing smaller (under 250 people) events. It almost like you get to meet all the guests and picture taking becomes almost personal. This venue is large enough for that party and easy to navigate while photographing people in the different rooms. The team here is AMAZING. They were all incredibly helpful and friendly. My group shot (picture displayed) was different than I expected and they were kind enough to give me an oversized ladder to use. Food was terrific. Fresh and tasty... I had been to the venue twice before--my sister got married here and a friend had a bridal shower--so I already knew it was beautiful. But hosting our wedding here was something truly special. From the very first meeting, the staff made us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely confident that our day would be in good hands. The venue itself is gorgeous with a warm, slightly rustic, homey charm, but the real standout is the staff. They are some of the kindest, most accommodating people you will ever meet. We didn't even bother touring other venues because we just knew this was the place--and we were 100% right. We worked mostly with James and John, who ran our wedding, and they were both phenomenal. James in particular deserves all the praise in the world. He handles so many details behind the scenes and somehow always seems to be in the exact place you need him. He listened closely to what we wanted and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. He was even completely prepared for emergencies, pulling out Advil at one point and a tide pen at another... and right before our ceremony, my husband accidentally got water on his vest. James took it, dried it, and brought it back looking perfect just in time. It was such a small moment, but it speaks volumes about how dedicated he is. By the end of the night, it honestly felt like James and John were family. We're already joking about finding excuses to go back just to say hello. If you're considering this venue--stop considering and just BOOK IT! Stewart Manor Country Club is outstanding in every way: the staff, the service, the atmosphere, the care, the experience. We couldn't recommend them more.

They can accommodate for up to 25 children however the office needs to be notified of how many kids will be officially attending the party a week in advance assuming they want to make sure they have enough people to assist with the games. Planning a head is key since this place tends to book up quite quickly because they are available Friday, Saturday and Sunday only for 1 hour and 45 minutes. You are able to arrive 10 minutes the earliest prior to the start time for set up since all they provide are tables and the garbage bin in the eating room. I had quite a few friends come in to help out with the set up which is highly recommended since it will be difficult to set up by yourself in 10 minutes. We had set up the water, juice, plate, forks, napkins, cups (a cup filled with black sharpie pens to write your names with on the drinks) and the party favors on 2 fold-able tables that you can easily access and set up yourselves. The main table which are 2 benches placed side by side are already set up which is where we had the balloons attached and table cover set up as well. On the opposite side of the room which is right across from the windows of where you can see into the gym, has a long sitting bench starting from one end to the other end of the wall. Above that, there are hooks going across as well which made it extremely convenient for guests to hang their bags and coats. There is also a boys and girls bathroom (single use) and they do have a fridge but not available in the same room since I gave the cake to the worker and saw him take it down to the lower lever (gym area) to another room but brought it back out when it was time for cake. As for food, in my opinion, since it is a short time, it's best to provide food that is quick in easy for kids to eat, such has chicken tenders, french fries, sandwiches, chips, etc. I decided to go real easy and order pizza AND have it delivered at the time the kids would be eating so that it would be warm. I had the kids eat first which took about 20 to 30 minutes and they played for about an hour and returned for cake for the last 15 - 20 minutes we had left. The sports that the kids played were soccer, hockey and dodgeball. Keep in mind the majority of the kids were 5 to 6 so I wouldn't really consider them playing a sport but more of them having the freedom to run around a large space with balls and sticks. I am assuming if the kids were older, the 2 coaches (teenagers) would be more engaged during the game play but with my kids, they basically provided the equipment, music and made sure when it was time, they moved on to the next sport. At times, I felt that they could at least toss the balls back into the center but they would either just stand and watch or be on their phones. But nothing to really be upset about considering the kids were having fun either way. Few of the adults went to the end of the court and played some basketball. Overall, it was an experience and yes, I could have easily booked a party at chucky cheese or bouncy house/trampoline house but in my personal opinion, though it was work for me to bring everything in, it was private and the space of the gym was so huge, it didn't feel as hectic as the other party places and it was nice to be able to just sit, eat and watch while the kids played. Cost wise, depending on how you spend, it may come out the same but it definitely shouldn't be more since this place does not charge based on number of kids. The rent space is a flat fee of $300.00 (check only). So if you are someone who has 20 kids for a party, you know that just the kids alone will cost you double that fee plus more since you pay extra for food for adults, favors, etc. TIPS: If ordering pizza, order it from Previti & Papazzio located at 2085 Hillside Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040 (516-354-2354) since they offer a small discount on the order if you have it delivered to the center. I would recommend the kids to eat first so that during the time kids are playing, the adults can watch from above and eat the remaining food (since most parents don't get to eat when the kids are eating) and when the parents are done, you have the opportunity to start cleaning up and even have the guest pack left overs (bring aluminium foil). You can also start bringing things to the car so that later on you have less to carry out. I had a sheet cake but if I were to do it over again, I would have went with cupcakes because you save time cutting the cake and serving it to everyone where as for cupcakes, guests just take as they please and it's faster to eat as well. Lastly, be on time since there are other parties before and after you. So you have to be out of the room, all guests, cleaned up and cleared out ON TIME. Delegating is key (let your friends help). Best Advice: Keep the party as simple as possible! Less is more :)

I haven't been bowling in yearssss!! I honestly can't remember the last time I went bowling. Lucky…read moreStrike was so much fun! Not only do they offer bowling, they also have a full restaurant/bar and arcade! You can seriously spend hours there!! Great time! I reserved a lane for 4 ppl on a Saturday afternoon, with no problems. They even offer a 25% discount when you reserve online; albeit they do charge an online service fee of about $11. But still, in the end, we saved $20. The total bill came to $108 for 4 ppl for 2 hours of bowling (including shoe rentals). We bowled fast, so we were able to squeeze in 3 games!! You're also able to order food via a QR code, and they'll bring the food to your lane. My niece ordered mini mozzarella sticks and devoured it! Two thumbs up! lol Customer service was very friendly and helpful. This was a stress-free experience! ** The only problem was their restrooms. OMG, I don't know what happened but the restrooms were flooded the entire two hours that we were there. We were still able to use the restrooms if we needed to but it was soooo gross. We were standing in an inch of water (I hope it was only water!!). Hopefully this was a one time problem! But all in all, this was a fun afternoon of bowling. The arcade and games looked fun also!

It looked newly renovated and so upscale with chandeliers, fire place, comfy chairs, arcade games, fancy bar chairs and more. For 2 games for 4 people on a Friday night it cost $120 which I thought was lowkey insane. Since when did it cost over $100 for a family of 4 to bowl. My goodness lol. However, I guess thats the way it is with inflation. The service and the place was amazing. I would definitely come back but be prepared to spend.
