They tell you all about why it's good for you and everything at the location and on the website but I just enjoy heated work outs. There is no actual IRL instructors, just videos playing in the various saunas but I enjoy it bc it's really private and you get to go at your own pace. They offer several different workout types including yoga, pilates, cycling, rowing and more. You book online via their app and there is no cancellation or class switching fee which is amazing for someone like me whose schedule is really busy. The studio is also open 24/7! So if you really wanna workout at 1am you could. They have the doors locked over night and you badge in using your app during those non-staffed hours. The studio is very clean and all the girls at the front desk are so kind. I'm really enjoying my time here so far!

However, if you're considering the Manvel, Texas location, you should know that the strength training and weightlifting options are extremely limited. The space is very small and there is very little equipment available. If lifting weights or doing strength training is part of your routine, this location will likely be frustrating. I even requested additional equipment that would improve the space and never received any follow-up. The biggest issue, though, is the membership and cancellation process, which appears to be franchise-wide. First, they require you to cancel in person -- in 2026. That is incredibly unreasonable when most services allow cancellation online or over the phone. Second, if you freeze your membership, there is no notification when it's about to be unfrozen. They simply start charging your card again. And to make matters worse, canceling your membership can cost more than the monthly membership itself. So while the sauna workout concept is solid, the policies and lack of equipment at the Manvel location make the experience frustrating. Because the hassle might just not be worth it. It wasn't for us, and I'm seriously regretting it.

This location smells absolutely RANK, I walked into the back to use the water fountain first and I could smell a stench of feces coming from one of the restrooms. I was going to try to push past and just get my session done, but upon walking into the sauna it was filthy and not to mention, the bikes looked to be in horrible condition! I had to leave immediately because this made me want to vomit due to the nasty condition of the sauna. By far, the worst Hotworx location I've been to. They seemed like a nice location when I looked it up online, but now it's very clear that the abundance of interesting content they post is to hide all of the immense problems of this studio. Will definitely not be returning back or recommending others to this particular location.

Does this allow me to use the facilities still or am I paying for two months of nothingness. Please let me know asap or I will report to my bank. I like the facilities but this is not right. This was so shocking that a lady behind me wanting to consider joining turned away and told me that she does not like this policy. Not cool. If you decide to join ask all these questions and get everything in writing.

The best part about talking with them is I never once felt judged by either. My first workout was intense but I left feeling so energized. The concept of the place is very interesting! Anytime access for members and fun events they have throughout the year. The main thing that enticed me to get a membership was the cleanliness of the studio and attention to detail. Unfortunately over the last year the ball has been dropped in both areas. The amount of broken equipment continues to grow. There's been a broken rower that used to leak water in the back of the open gym area for months now. We used to see them clean all the time and my last visit I had to exit a sauna due to the amount of dust triggering my allergies. I'm not sure if the high turnover rate has anything to do with this but I truly hope they can turn it around in 2025. I've gotten multiple friends to sign up. A couple have moved due to the over saturation of locations in the area. I really love the concept and will continue to try and introduced more ppl to HOTWORX.
