Nothing was billed to our account and everything seemed great for the next 4 months. We spoke with someone at Zombie Bunny and said that we would likely be coming back in September. They said we would need to bring new payment in, etc. We didn't end up coming back and they began charging our account for $200 anyways. They then continued charging our account for 2 more months, even though they told us it wouldn't happen again after the first months mistake. I had to put a stop payment on the account. They took a total of $600 out of our account over 3 months. This was all while we were trying to save for our honeymoon. The owner kept saying that money was being reimbursed and it would be in by certain days. It never was... Lots of empty promises. I understand mistakes happen, but it's been countless problems without being resolved.

We let them know, they stopped charging us, all was well. This was in May 2015. We came back to OKC area in September and were thinking about going back here, since we had enjoyed it before. I called and was told that we would need new payment info and to sign up again as they didn't keep our info. Life got in the way and we didn't have an extra $200 a month to spend, so we decided to postpone. So it was a huge shock when we check our bank statement that month to see that they had charged us $200! We had not signed up or given any sort of consent. The charge was on the credit card we had previously given as payment. Knowing mistakes happen, we called and asked to have it resolved and were assured it would be. Not only was nothing resolved, they continued to charge our credit card for October and November. $600 dollars later, all my poor husband has heard is excuses and empty promises. We had to put a stop payment on the account, another wasted $50. The bank called to say they did in fact try to rob us again, thank goodness it was stopped. After spending hours and hours on the phone, being treated with utter disrespect, and leaving many unreturned messages the owner (Joel) refunded $300. Months and months later, and only half. We have been so understanding, patient, and polite... I'm so sad that our good nature was taken advantage of in return.

Yes, the wods are tough and challenging. They definitely deliver on a well needed ass kicking every now and then. But what I love the most about RDCF is the community. Everyone is always warmly welcomed and we all quickly become like family. The coaches are all incredible as well. Every workout, no matter who is coaching, they show how much they care about everyone there. They put the time in to challenge you, help you achieve your goals but also keep you safe. Learning form is so important here and the coaches are beyond awesome at helping you improve if you're willing to put the work in. They help cater the workouts to meet whatever fitness level you're at to make sure you get the most out of your workout while also staying safe. I remember being terrified to walk in the door my first time. Being a petite woman with little fitness experience, I was so scared that I was walking into a class full of monster gym rats. I was completely wrong. There are of course some very fit people that attend and are amazingly inspiring but mostly, we're your everyday people coming in from all walks of life and ages just looking to better ourselves and stay healthy. If you're on the fence, take it from me and give it a chance!!

If you've paid much attention to the fitness scene over the past few years you've probably heard of…read more"CrossFit" training. Definition according to Wikipedia is as follows: CrossFit is a strength and conditioning brand that combines weightlifting, sprinting, gymnastics, powerlifting, and rowing.[1] CrossFit contends that a person is as fit as they are proficient in each of ten general physical skills: cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy.[2] It defines fitness as "increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains."[3] The CrossFit program consists of "constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement."[4] I was recently exposed to the CrossFit training style at CrossFit405 in downtown OKC. And let me tell you, if you've grown tired of the commercial gym seen and are looking to be challenged to improve your fitness in a constructive, supportive, and motivating environment then you should drop by CrossFit405 and just watch a workout. Training sessions consist mainly of group workouts, of roughly 10-15 people per class, in which a coach for the workout will lead the team through the movements of the day. Classes are typically Monday through Friday w/ an AM, Noon, 430, 530, 630 pm, with an open gym period for practicing specifics movements on the weekends. If you aren't accustomed to the training modalities listed, have no fear, you will not be looked down upon or ridiculed for it, but rather steered toward what is called the "on-ramp" class. This class is structured to introduce the uninitiated to the movements that compose many of the workouts that make up the CrossFit training style. It takes place in a low-key environment, and the coaches spend time focusing on the basics of the movements and insuring that each individual can execute them safely and effectively. However, if you're accustomed to running/rowing/sprinting/plyometrics/free weight training/Olympic style lifting/gymnastics/ and other bad assery then they'll let you fall right into the next pain fest! Overall, I have had a blast training here over the past month. And again, if you are looking to be challenged then look no further. It's the most fun you'll have suffering at the working end of a barbell, jump rope, rowing machine, etc that you've ever had!!!

There are a whole lot of CrossFit gyms out there, but Crossfit 405 is one of the best gyms in OKC…read more Not only is this a gym with great instructional staff, and a great and clean facility, this gym really cares about their people. There are normally weekly events for you to hang out with your fellow gym-mates which can be a great way for you to get to know the people you are working out with. They have plenty of gear to purchase so that you can rep your gym too. At Crossfit 405, you will be taught correctly and encouraged to get better. I highly recommend checking out this CrossFit gym whether you are just dropping in or looking for a CrossFit gym to try out. Crossfit can work for any and all levels, and can always be modified so that anyone can do it. I hope you will give it a try if you are thinking about getting into CrossFit.

I thought I would walk in to a place that sold yoga pants and pushed ideology like "Get your Pilates Body!!!" and "this one's a good cellulite killer". But to my complete shock, this was mainly all about movement education. Now, let me clear about that: It can be a VERY hard workout. It can also be about prepping your muscles and unwinding stupid patterns I've gotten myself into so that I can do what used to come easily for me. Let me give you my best example out of MANY: I started having MAJOR lower back pain. Out of the blue. It went on for several weeks. And so I went in and told my instructor and she did a deliberately slow and thoughtful analysis of my movement, when things irritated me, when movement soothed me. And she finally said, "There's basically nothing wrong with your back. But your hips are SUPER tight." And I was like, "What's that got to do with my back?" (I didn't vocalize this) And so she gave me a bunch homework and movement I was required to do at home. Let me pause here to say, I'm a 32 year old dude, with no injuries or weight problems or limitations in my mobility. IF you saw me, you would think I was healthy and in shape. Now, after a week of this homework for my hips, my back started to feel less strain. Then after two to three weeks, I only felt the pain in the mornings. Then after a month, it was completely gone. Then I stopped doing the homework . . . and guess what . . . it all came back. So, take that for what it's worth. I've lost 10 lbs and I'm also constantly realizing how much more fluidly I live my life. Bending down to pick up a shoe used to be a stretch for me. Not anymore. Neck and shoulder pain plagued me in my early 20's when I sat at a computer desk all day. That's been gone for over a year now. I feel younger and more agile than I did 10 years ago. And I can see it in other people that they are not taking any time to maintain and repattern their movements as they get into their 30's --- so I expect to see a lot of my friends getting surgery when they honestly just need to be moving with the gifted instructors at this studio.
