Like most of SLO, everyone is incredibly friendly - from the staff to the coaches that will go out of their way to introduce themselves and always say hi when they see you in the gym. They have developed a community that only comes from continued and deliberate effort. They regularly host events to keep growing this community and you can see its size and strength at the 9am Saturday classes. This gym nailed the warehouse aesthetic while also keeping weight-lifters in mind. I have never had an issue finding a squat rack, which I can't say about any other gym I have been to. The free weights/dumbbells go in to the high 100s, where most gyms cap at 95/100lbs. In the warmer weather the outdoor turf-lined area is one of my favorite perks that I've also never had in other gyms. This place is a gym that's designed by people who actually use the gym and make it a point to continue making improvements for its members.
