From the first moment I walked through the door, they have both been nothing less than the 5 stars that I have given them. The workouts are challenging and tailored to your current level of fitness. The equipment and facility are new and well maintained. You won't find the muscle head egos in this gym . What you will find in the established clients is a friendly group that is both welcoming and supportive to newcomers . They are a solid group of fitness minded individuals. If I give 5 stars, I typically do so because there is something that stands out about the service or product. Today while working out in Brandon's 9:00 class, a new person came in late to get the free trial workout. Even though there was no class scheduled at 10:00, Brandon worked out with the prospective member at 10:00 solo. If this isn't customer service I don't know what is! They seem to have every toy you can think of and it's all in great condition. They also have towels available, which is a nice touch and added perk. The members are friendly and hospitable. I met some awesome folks and looked forward to seeing them each day I was there. I kindly asked if they would adopt me. The coaching is top notch. It's a laid back vibe but they take proper instruction seriously and run a tight class. A+. OIB is the epitome of what the crossfit community is all about. Can't wait to visit again. I joined in mid February and have had overwhelmingly positive interactions with the coaches & members every single day since. Having moved here March 2020 and continuing to work from home the last two years, joining this community has been a blessing in ways I hadn't even expected but truly appreciate. One of the owners, Christine, was kind and welcoming from the first email interaction through when I actually stepped foot in the gym. She continues to be a supportive coach who meets me where I'm at and challenges me to keep progressing. Jamie is the other owner who is always willing to give me feedback on form and assist me while I become more confident in the various lifts - which is so helpful! Kelsey is the coach who trained me 1:1 in the very beginning (which was beneficial beyond measure!) and continues to provide encouragement and inspiration. The other coaches I've had the chance to interact with periodically are equally as lovely - the culture here simply cannot be beat. If you've ever considered Cross Fit but were intimidated or heard mixed messages - I invite you to join this gym for a class to see what it's all about. And while this isn't the closest location to me, I'm so glad I followed the hunch & made this gym my own. I look forward to showing up each class, knowing I'll be challenged through an intentionally programmed workout surrounded by people of all fitness levels.
