If I could give zero stars I would. it's legit a scam and so hard to cancel. I signed up with my sister in law with one card of file for the both of us and we tried cancelling after the 6 month contract period with my sister in law calling and them telling her they'll call her before September to make sure we want to cancel and then September comes and they charge us. She asks for a refund and she only gets refunded for one of us and now they're saying a week later that I would have needed to go in to hotworx to cancel on my end as well when we were signed together with a joint account. Now they're saying they won't refund me because there isn't any notes on my specific side saying I wanted to cancel.. just my sister in laws so they can't pay me back cause there was never an indication on my end that I wanted to cancel. Now they're saying I got charged for September because I never paid in April which is not true. I won a raffle for a free month. Which now all of sudden it's not free I guess if they're charging me for it? it's all a scam and for them to try and get the last payment out of you. it's convenient as well that I've tried the manager multiple times and she's "stepped out" or not in or busy. Told me I had to go in and cancel and now they're saying they're texting the manager to cancel and see if I can get a refund. Which one is it? The customer service and the manager Nicole needs some serious help and changes if they're going to keep people coming or even to have us back. I'll never sign up or come here again from this process and how rude Nicole has been with us. Added on - adding two more stars only for Alexiana and her pursuit in making everything happen right. she got ahold of the owners and did what she needed to do in order to get everything resolved. She's the only one willing to help and work this out. Also thanks to the owners for understanding all the miscommunication and whatever else was happening on their end. read more

I really love this place. The fact that you can get in a great workout and also do a quick cardio or yoga flow in the hot sauna is amazing. Especially me being a busy working mom - they are open 24/7 which is one of the biggest perks. Staff is super friendly and the facility is always clean. read more

Love this place!! The staff and the owners are absolutely amazing! You are always greeted with a warm welcome every time you enter the facility. The facility is regularly cleaned. I enjoy coming here a few times a week and getting a good sweat in. They're also open 24 hours so if you're an early bird like myself you can basically work out anytime. I was hesitant at first because I don't like virtual instructors but these classes are fine, it's ok for me because they are not too long AND Im sweating and burning calories like crazy!! LOVE IT!! Everyone is super friendly and place is very clean. They offer free classes to try it out .... I recommend it . I have so much energy now and I feel good. I just read one past terrible review which clearly is a hater - so many out there. I was welcomed to try out classes two days in a row, the mat was complementary both days; when I decided to join they explained about buying the mat - make sense because of the heat; at that point it was MY choice to buy/join or leave, no pressure at all . I've been coming to this gym since it opened almost 2 yrs now. The infrared sauna workouts are great. People normally pay $60 at other places just to sit in an infrared sauna. This place, you workout with the infrared sauna. The staff has always been great and helpful. The owner frequents the place and is very friendly. The entire place is always clean, especially the equipment. Alexiana is one of the staff there and she is very helpful. Also, Jasmin, the new manager. Great Gym. Scummy business practices. Signed up for a 6 month contract. After the contract terms were up, they pull the "You have to come in person and cancel" move even though there's absolutely no reason for this. Fine...ill go in and waste the gas. When you meet them in person to do it, you literally just do the same thing--tell them you want to cancel. When I do go in to cancel, they pull their 2nd cool move--"well because you're canceling a week before your contract (they also created some arbitrary time window you have to notify them in to cancel) technically we can't put it into effect until next month, so we're gonna have to bill you for one more month. Oh and even though we know, could you come in again, in person, to remind us you're canceling, but please do it a day before just to make sure it goes through?" I assume it's not the sales reps fault for putting in these types of constraints on cancelation but it's just not worth the hassle of dealing with this type of customer service. I'd totally go back if I could trust I only pay for the time I actually use or intended to use. But apparently, they think the techniques of LA Fitness and other trash gyms trying to nickel and dime its customers on a cancelation is worth a few more bucks than providing a great experience. Otherwise, as long as you never leave them, like i said it's a great gym. Usually friendly staff, super clean, fairly priced (well except for the $100 yoga mat thing they upcharge you on, but to each their own there.) I wish I could highlight the great parts more but leaving them left a bad taste, and its what I left remembing most. read more

Update: They have started to vacuum and clean better since this review. I appreciate the response to feedback. In the beginning it was nice. They used to vacuum the saunas, Now the place is dirty. There are bundles of hair In the corners of almost every sauna. There's some sticky stuff in another. The cubbies are disorganized. It's hard to find the disinfectant. Customers are not signing up for sessions they just show up. So sad. It used to be good. The staff needs to enforce the rules and clean the saunas more. read more

I absolutely love hot worx and the entire staff! The place is always clean, secure, and greetings with smiling faces. All of the staff that Ive encountered are wonderful, but Taylor especially has made me feel right at home. This is the gym I always knew I needed, but didnt know existed! So grateful to have found such a great place! The price is fair and you can't really put a tag on feeling safe and secure. Again, I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff. WOW! I am such a fan of the HOTWORX program and the 3D training. It has been life changing. I am a huge fan of weight training but was becoming unmotivated at my usual gym. I have a new love for working out. I love doing the cardio classes followed by the ISO workouts. It's a perfect 45 minute intensive workout with both. I love the energy I get after each session and feel amazing after. If you have any built up tension, it will all be erased after a session. I always feel like the more sweat I have the more fat I am losing lol I signed up before the location even opened because of all of the amazing videos on social media. The initial intake was done over the phone and was fast/easy. Everything was explained to me in detail and nothing was hidden. I was able to ask all questions and they answered everything for me. I typically go right after work at least 3-4 days a week. The staff is so friendly, motivating and helpful. They all provide helpful advice for the classes and always ask me how my classes went. I would highly recommend trying the place out and even more recommend a membership!! read more

I am extremely disappointed with the misleading communication and lack of transparency from the staff. They are not upfront about the terms of their establishment, which led to a frustrating experience. We were initially lured in with the free sessions they offer on the website and were offered a complimentary month. Once we arrived their system "was down"... we rescheduled a second session only to be told--just three days later--that the terms had changed, now requiring us to purchase their merchandise. ($150 each in merch for us to get the free month) Despite this, we signed up, only to discover there's a cancellation fee if you cancel before six months, something that was never disclosed to us at any point. we were actually told there were no fees. haha. In fact, we would not have known if my boyfriend hadn't noticed it. This level of dishonesty is deeply frustrating and unacceptable. I expected professionalism and honesty, but instead, I feel deceived and taken advantage of. do better. read more

I signed up for HOTWORX back in August 2024 and I have been going ever since. I highly recommend trying it out. HOTWORX has changed my life. I look forward to my workout sessions & have noticed that I am a lot more consistent with exercising ever since coming here. Every time I leave a workout with them, I leave feeling AMAZING. I have reached out to Hotworx on three separate occasions, twice by phone and once in person requesting to cancel my membership. Each time I have been told that cancellations can only be conducted by the manager. The manager is NEVER available. I have been told that she will give me a call regarding the cancellation yet several weeks later I am still waiting !! read more

This is hysterical. The persons (Samantha) story is true. As the owner(?) the staff was told to tell us Hotworx were opening in just a few short weeks. That was January we were told. When did you open? So owner ... Lie on Hotworxs end... we tolerated it because your staff was kinda awesome begging forgiveness as the pre-sales can be off. No one, I know, was told... they could NOT use 7/11 (almost 70%) of the sauna work outs without spending an extra $100 for the 'special' hotworxs yoga mat. So owner... another item ... missed sharing, unless of course you were referring to the orientation this summer... months later .... (which of course is not a few short weeks from January) Strike two - disclosure on hotworxs end BTW theres a third strike in my eyes .... Hotworxs failed communication OR items Hotworxs employees CANNOT disclose ahead of your purchase or tell you the full story... you are stuck in this membership for a minimum of five months or more as it's not month to month and can't use 70% of facilities with your yoga mat ... I suppose adding bits like the lady has two keys ? Why? Who needs two keys, it doesn't benefit them? Sometimes owners shouldn't try to justify their poor business practices by calling their customers liars... but in my lifetime Ms. Hotworxs owner... I have always notice people that are manipulating the facts or purposefully lying always assume others are like them. Then stealing from the business? I get it, that's a familiar tactic for your team yes? Get them to join then steal $100 for a $20 Yoga Mat? I do notice that thieves tend to think everyone is just like them... Sorry if you feel bullied I felt you bullied the member over things your business did to most of us and you were the one that decided on how to manipulate the buyer. Strike two: Did your team not hit us up for $100 yoga mat to even use 1/2 of the sauna rooms the first day of orientation once you finally opened? Strike 3: Did your team also have to tell us... you have to be a member minimum 90 days and then if you want to quit there is a 60 day notice of quit or you can pay $99 to 'quit now' pitch? That's what I personally had issues with, your actual business practices. I don't really care if a person reused a mat or didn't return a key. I care that I... as well as several others I have spoken to...did not get the full disclosure of fees past joining and monthly we would be charged to use the gym and additional fees to get the month to month membership activated when quitting. Then I find it creepy that you, as a business owner, disclose anything about your members or use your database of private information to belittle a member. I'm glad you couldn't find my info. You have my address, my credit card, my phone number and more. The guarding of clients personal info should be your highest priority next to impeccable business practice. Do better! read more

I have been a member of Hotworx since they opened almost a year ago. At first I was skeptical of the infrared HIIT workout concept. But it has helped me with musculoskeletal discomfort and even sleep. Janelle (the manager) has been great and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the various classes. Jasmine always has a smile on her face, kind word or two to say and optimistic attitude. The staff are ALWAYS so friendly and positive I love them all! The following month my american express was charged without my consent. I called the business to let them know and they declined to refund my card. This place has to have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I signed up at the beginning of October, so I was able to cancel after December due to their 3 month rule. I have been trying to cancel since January, and it is now April. I live far, and I'm 6 months pregnant, so I can not walk in to cancel. They tell me every time I call that I need to speak with the manager and they will call me back. I have called just about every week for months and no return call. I will be filing a charge back on my card and blocking them from further charges. I will also be contacting the BBB to report this. As a business owner myself, I would never treat customers like this. Beware! Once you sign up, they will not allow you to cancel! read more
