Good Day, Disclaimer I don't give 5 stars much, may write an updated review that may get a 5 star but typically keep it at 4 to allow "Greatness" to occur. So this is my first review of a gym, typically review restaurants which looking down at my waistline, this is where I need to be. I signed up via the website Dec 2021 and a few phone calls to the establishment to ask some simple questions relating to finances and membership pricing. I was provide the information, the representative that I spoke to was professional and was able to answer my question and articulate it in a manner in which I understood. Kept an eye on the progress of construction so it gave me a general idea when they will open. Got a nice card in the mail welcoming me, then I got a phone call to setup an initial tour and the onboarding process. Scheduled my appointment and showed up to a very sleek, clean facility. A couple of smiles and 1 employee opened the door for me, took my breathe away. As I stepped in the place was inviting, no blaring music and a little casual conversations going on. I can hear some go-getters getting some in one f the saunas. That's awesome because that will be me soon, hopefully no loud yelps of despair. I was helped by Monique (hope i spelt that correctly), what a wonderful lady. Very professional, clearly briefed me on the agenda then down to the nitty gritty of policies and a quick electronic signature of acceptance. After the paperwork, they gave me the keys to castle (trumpets sounding) actually I got the WiFi password which to some children is their lifeline. I was kindly introduced to another associate who was able to set up 2 phones apps, one to unlock the front door during un-attended hours and the other to book sessions, track calories, and develop a plan to take first place in the local eventually global leaderboard. What better way to meet your fitness goals than to have a fun challenge with like minded people. After the technology setup, i was given a tour of the facility. Going over the use of the sauna, location of the equipment based exercises and the none equipment rooms, restroom with shower and additional restroom, kettle bells and dumbbells, rack and a vending machine for snacks beverages and keys to towels should you forget one. So folks that wraps up my review of joining this Gym you may experience something else so go ahead an give it shot and make your own assessment of it. OMG, disregard below as it's someone who obviously has no sense of business. You sell pre-memberships for 2 reasons, the customer gets a better deal and 2, the business actually has customers when they open! It's a very successful business model. I'm looking forward to this location as it's much closer than the Mandeville location for me. It's a great workout, if you haven't tried it, do so, it's worth your time. read more

This place hasn't opened and the customer service sucks!! I really wanted to join this place!! I was actually looking forward to taking classes here! I am visiting from Chicago (for the next 6 months) and saw an advertisement on social media for this business so I decided to send the my information so that someone could contact me. On January 11th, I get a phone call from P. Cosby (that's what showed up on my cell phone caller ID). While speaking to the young lady, and gathering information regarding fees, she tells me that they are not actually open but they are doing pre payments for memberships. She stated that they didn't know when they would be opening, but they were hoping for the end of the month. Said that they were having some construction difficulties. She told me that you put $10 down and pay $49 a month for membership. She said if you don't put the $10 down, then the membership would cost $69 a month. My question to her is why am I paying an advance for a membership and you aren't open & unsure when you're going to be open? Logical question in my opinion. She started repeating her spiel in regards to the cost and why you were actually paying for a pre membership. Again, I asked why would I pay for the membership now, when I could just wait until after after the end of January when they were actually open. Next thing I know, someone else was on the phone, introducing herself to me, and asking me what questions I had for her. WTH???? The other young lady did not tell me to hold on so that she could get someone to answer my questions for me, didn't say that she was unsure of how to answer me, she just handed the phone off to someone else! How rude! Now I'm speaking to someone else, and I have to try to explain everything to her that I had just said to the previous person. I couldn't believe how rude the other person was!! Now this new young lady is telling me about a $99 deposit and then $49 a month, but the $10 is a prepay is a prepay to ensure that I pay $49 a month instead of $69 a month. The last person I spoke with didn't mention anything about $99! She kept apologizing for the last persor the last person and her behavior because I kept mentioning how rude that was and how I didn't appreciate or deserve that. Her excuse for the young lady's behavior was that she's new. I told her, I don't care how new a person is, poor customer service and my service and bad behavior is unacceptable business practice. I told her that either she needs to be trained better or they need to find somewhere else to place her within the company because customer service is not her forte. I let her know that I am no longer interested in a membership there a membership there, however temporarily it was supposed to be, a in that poor customer service and lack of communication is the reason. I had spoken with several of my family members here, in Slidell, and told them that we should all go there together. Not now! I'm telling them all to forget it. Then coincidentally, about 10 minutes after I hung up with with this woman, I received a "private call", which I never get. I pay the additional $5 a month so that I can have real caller idea on my phone and no exactly who's calling before I pick it up. I answered the phone, and could hear someone on the other end, but they never said anything. I paused after the 1st hello. They hung up after I said hello the 2nd time. I hope that this young lady gets the proper training that is needed, if not, this business will not be successful at all!! 1st impressions are lasting impressions... you NEVER get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression... The current manager,Monique, is a rude person and lies. Make sure you read the fine print when signing up for a membership. Their prices are inconsistent. If you cancel, get it in writing because they will continue the EFT payments. I cancelled in February and completed the 60 day cancellation requirement. May 1st I was charged another $49 payment. I requested a refund for the May membership with no satisfaction. This is now about principal and I will get a full refund. BBB complaint filed. Another complaint is the staff is not knowledgeable on equipment or classes. They sold me incorrect bands. Additionally at least one of the 7 sauna's were always decommissioned with no notifications. Very frustrating when you sign up for a certain class. read more
