Super convenient if your staying at the hilton next door. You can walk right through without even going outside. Had a nice dinner at the bar. Food was great, drinks were fast and there were just enough people to not be crowded but not empty. read more

This will be my second review on Yelp. I went here because it was quick and easy located next to my hotel but wish I hadn't wasted my time. It took 10 minutes to even get acknowledged by one of the 2 bartenders and their attitude was really bad. No smiles, hi how are you. After I got my drink it took another 10 minutes before one girl said "are you ordering something?" Really really disappointing. I wished it was earlier as I would have driven somewhere more highly rated on Yelp. Don't waste your time or money here!! Update the food was good. I had the bacon cheeseburger. The scallop dish was great but, as with all choices, the amount was skimpy. I mistook my order the week before for a side dish but it was the main dish. I was met at the door by a gum-chewing waiter and no greeting, just headed for a table. read more

6 of us met for lunch today. I haven't been to Houlihan's in 10 years so I was interested to try it again. Our service was ridiculous! Absolutely terrible; one of my friends was very angry about it but I was more embarrassed for our server than anything. The food came out 1 plate at a time-the 1st person served was finished by the time the last person had to ask for their food. The food was ok - I had a salad with grilled chicken in it & I ate all but the chicken which tasted like the grill. Everything else looked good. read more

Went there tonight and was always able to order a steak house salad even if it was not on the menu. Waiter told me tonight it was impossible because they were out of the things to make it. My husband got a lettuce salad and I saw steak being served in the restaurant. I have lots of food allergies and this was something I can have. Very disappointed. read more

Overpriced, and just okay. I've dined here on several occasions, but quality & cost have become huge issues. Since the recession, this restaurant has trimmed the size of their dinners by about 60%. If you're expecting a snack from your plate to "take home", forget it. The Rosemary Chicken dish used to be served with 2 chicken breasts, and now is served with 1/3 of ONE breast. (size of a chicken tender) The mashed potatoes served with this dish used to be served as two large (bra cup size) mounds of potatoes, now it is one small mound, exactly the size of an ice cream scoop! If you choose broccoli, count on 4 florets. Keep in mind, this is a dish they're charging $11.00 at lunch! They are serving you approximately $1.00 worth of food. read more

I signed up online, and received a free birthday meal much to my delight. So on my way home from shopping - after being ill all week for my birthday - I stopped to have a late lunch and was not disappointed. Since it was my birthday, I had appetizer, entree, and dessert! To start I had their hot spinach dip, followed by the Asian Chicken Chop Salad, and topped off with Creme Brulee for dessert! Service is extremely slow, waited 40 minutes just to get our salad. The scallops were overdone, the tomatoes in a salad should not have been served and the bacon on the loaded baked potato was tough and dry with no flavor. The steak was tender and had good flavor. The waiter was accommodating but failed to check on us as we ate. He recognized the long wait and the quality issues but did not offer to make an adjustment on the bill. This is our third time trying this restaurant, during which the quality and service have continued to decline. We will not be back. read more

Would give food a 4 to 4.5 but service...a 2 is generous. It all started with a hostess that seemed less than enthusiastic to seat us, and it was a slow night. She took us to a table that was still dirty and need to be wiped down, set our menus on the table and walked away. We waited a few minutes for wait staff to come by and address the dirty table but after 5 minutes we seated ourselves in another area. We got drinks and ordered food. Appetizer came and the waitress set down the food and it was obvious that we had no napkins or tableware. We thought she went to get silverware and when I looked up she was heading out the side door with another employee for an unannounced smoke break. My wife grabbed some silverware off of the table next to us. I could not believe this waitress left 4 tables unattended. My wife commented on how all the employees seemed uninterested and not enjoying their job, very bad atmosphere. On the bright side the food was very good. I doubt that we will be back for quite awhile, at least until the service improves. read more

Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn to which Houlihan's is attached. We arrived late and were too tired to venture out in search of food, so we got room service. My god, I have never had a burger and fries so delicious from a hotel restaurant! And that's not even a fair comparison; that food could rival any burger and fries I've ever had. The beef was perfectly cooked and juicy, the fries were fresh and crispy, and they accommodated everything we asked for. Don't know if I'd go all the way there for dinner, but if you're in the area it's definitely worth it. read more

This restaurant was extremely disappointing. The staff was drinking at the bar, they didn't know the difference between an IPA and a dark lager, and when we ordered food to go, it sat on the bar until we asked about it. We got it back to our room to find it cold and missing part of our order. The food was not good and certainly not worth the hassle. We've been to the Richfield, MN location dozens of times and never had these issues. read more

My boyfriend and I came here around 5:30 on Saturday night. Although the parking lot looked busy there wasn't any wait. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. We started off with chicken nachos and they were not a disappointment, they were SO good.. We each got steaks and they were cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back here!! read more
