Darrin was one of three contractors that actually called me back. He gave me great information on decks and how to care for a new deck. Took lots of time on the original phone call with me. I was looking to get a quote on a new deck in Arnold. He said he would be in the area the week of 4th of July and to send him pictures of our current deck. I sent the pics and weeks went by. Finally July 24th I texted to ask him if he was going to be near Arnold and he read the message and never responded. I realize that he might be busy and it seems like it's tough to get people to give estimates in Arnold. But just be up front about things. I'm disappointed and wish I wasn't ghosted. read more

I had one estimate from another company of $78,000 to replace my deck which I knew was way over priced and also lost the sell of my home due to this overpriced 'pest inspection'. A friend of mine used Darrin for his deck and Darrin was punctual, did a great job from start to finish. So when I needed another quote, I chose Darrin. He came out, gave a quote of $35,000 and instead of trying to sell me on the new deck, he gave me a list of things that could be repaired to keep the deck sound and secure for another 5 years or so.
