Big Bear started my Approx 4500 sq ft roofing job on a Monday and finished in 4 days including removing and reinstalling my 18 solar panels. Job included some moderate wood rot repair and chimney reconfiguration. Frank Silva, the owner was very responsive and pleasant to work with. He immediately took care of all concerns. (I am a picky engineer type tending to ask a lot of questions and seek perfection). The out come was a perfect job including a better design and appearance than the original 28 year old roof. When I realized the roof on my Mother's home needed replacing, I called Frank. Big Bear did an amazing job on our roof replacment! I expected the job to take weeks, and it took them only a few days. We had then take out our swamp cooler and sky light, install a new vent and they replaced some sheets that had dry rot.They worked fast, showed up on time, and went above and beyond. The whole crew was just amazing! I highly recommend them. We have heard horror stories from friends who used other companies, and we are so happy we went with Big Bear! We had an emergency situation at our cabin in Mi-Wuk village. Unfortunately it was also during the holiday season with some rain that was on the forecast. We weren't able to make it up there to perform any preparation for the weather. After calling Big Bear aka Frank Silva, he immediately went to our place and assessed the damages. He was also so kind, even if we didn't proceed with selecting him, to put tarp on the roof to avoid any impact for the storms that were coming in. He then opened a slot during Christmas week to not only repair our roof but also fixed our interior pine boards that were damaged as well. To put the cherry on top, he even fixed a couple of boards on our deck that were impacted. Frank was a savory during a time when no other roofers were picking up their phones.
