They also take pictures of the dogs and send them to you. When I was gone on vacation, it was such a treat to get the emails and text messages and see that my pups were being well taken care of. Last November I decided to get a puppy and added Luna a Pug mix to the family fold. I work…read morefull-time and because Luna was only 9 weeks old when I got her I decided to spend the money and hire a pet sitter. I reached out to Sheri at Sheri's Pet Watch, we met in person and she went over all the particulars. I hired her service for a 30-minute visit at $20.00 per visit. This service was going to be 3 days a week in which the 30 minutes would include backyard play (weather permitting) or indoors a refresh of her water and giving Luna her afternoon treat snack. Sheri really began the 3 days a week of pet sitting beginning February 1st, 2021 due to my work schedule changing to working from home due to the Covid Pandemic. In late September 2021 I installed house camera's both inside and out because of the homeless population in my area and theft. The first Wednesday after the cameras were installed and Sheri's visit day, I received a message that there was motion inside the house, I looked and Sheri had just arrived and she took Luna out to the backyard. A minute later I received a motion alert again and Sheri was back inside with Luna, I thought well that's odd, it's a beautiful day and they are back in already. I watched as Sheri sat in a chair giving Luna her treats, then I watched her leave the house. She was there 10 minutes tops. The same thing happened the following day. I can't tell you how disappointed I was that this was happening. My daughter and I spoke and decided this was probably a one off and scheduled Sheri for the following week, keep in mind Sheri had been pet sitting Luna 8 months by now. The following week the routine was the same, she stayed 10 minutes and the following day only 6 minutes. My daughter contacted Sheri about the short visits for the last couple of weeks and told her that her services were no longer needed. Who knows how long this had been going on for, at $20.00 for 10 minutes, that's $120.00 an hour, at 6 minutes it's $200.00 an hour, my kind of money. Sheri said that she had some family issues that were requiring her to cut her visits short, and that all Luna wanted was her treats. I am not buying that story, if you are having family issues that keep you from performing your job, then tell me and let's work out a new payment plan, instead she said nothing and soaked me for a full payment and stayed a third of the time. Luna is a dog, let's not blame the dog for your unethical behavior. I trusted Sheri, and trusted she was abiding by our agreement and fulfilling your 30-minute paid obligation to Luna. It was so sad to see Luna get all excited when Sheri came in just to have her leave 10 minutes later, Luna's little tail was still wagging as she left, made me want to cry. It's amazing what people will do when they think no one is watching. So, in closing, I do not recommend Sheri's Pet Watch as my experience was less that favorable. I feel ripped off and so does Luna.

She's got a big heart for the pets in her care; she hugs them, pets them and loves on them as if they're her own. We especially like that our girls are not caged, they have the freedom to roam and to be well attended to. Both Joy and Regina gives our girls all the attention, care, concern and loving we could ever hope for. Most boarding is more expensive, but even they won't provide your fur babies a more caring and loving environment. In the absence of home they are the next best thing. Before our trip, Jessica, one of the managers, made sure the boys had meet-and-greets, daycare visits, and even an overnight stay so they could become familiar with the staff and the staff could see how they adjusted. I loved that they took these extra steps instead of simply accepting our dogs for boarding. It showed me that the dogs' comfort, happiness, and safety truly come first. Their secure drop-off/pick-up process also gave me peace of mind. During their stay, the boys had potty breaks, daycare, playtime and socialization, and we received daily messages and photos. Seeing them happy while we were away was so reassuring. I was especially worried about Bran because he's our cranky little senior , but the staff clearly knows dogs and how to work with different personalities. Bran and Frankie even shared a suite together, and they did great! After almost two weeks, we picked up two happy, clean, great-smelling pups with no signs of stress. Honestly, I don't think they missed us--they were too busy enjoying their own vacation!
