Vanessa is excellent at what she does. We relocated our large black lab and Australian cattle dog mix from San Francisco to Auckland, New Zealand. We actually had tried to move our dogs back in 2020 when we were taking 5 months maternity leave in New Zealand, but had an issue with Bascom's titre test. After that experience and how Vanessa had helped us retest quickly we knew she was the only one to help us with our permanent move back to New Zealand in Nov 2023. New Zealand has VERY strict rules and what tests are required and when. The process is time consuming, confusing and downright difficult to navigate without someone who does this regularly - which Vanessa does. Vanessa would get in contact with our vets and help navigate them. We ended up also using her recommended vet to make sure we had the final vet visits on time (and it was a lot cheaper than the SPCA vet). Vanessa came to the final vet visits, picked up our dogs on the day of the flight, and sent us updates and photos of our dogs to alleviate our worries. We can't thank Vanessa enough for the smooth handling of our Pit Bull, QuiQui's, relocation from San Diego to Japan. This is an amazing, lifesaving service. I can summarize Vanessa's work as unique, experienced, kind, proactive, responsible, speedy, and efficient. It is worth every dollar, if you want your pets to be delivered healthily, safely, comfortably, happily, and with a minimal amount of effort on your part, and timely updates on how your pets are doing and feeling. We had 2 12-year old cats moved from Mountain View, California all the way to Salvador, Brazil. One of the cats had some long standing health issues. Neither cats had recent vaccinations, anti-parasite, or other health documents. Not only did Vanessa get all the necessary checkups and vaccinations required for the travel documentation, she also solved the long standing health issues for one of our cats (upper respiratory infection and some teeth that needed to be extracted). This required providing room and board for our cats (at a very reasonable rate) prior to travel, as well as shuttling the cats to and from the vet, administering antibiotics, scheduling all the appointments, booking the travel, arranging with her international partners in Brazil and elsewhere in the US for 'kitty condos' while waiting for connecting flights (probably 3 flight segments) and getting through customs in Brazil (which can be quite tricky for the unexperienced). From my side, I was under significant stress to move our household quickly to Brazil (2 weeks notice). After talking to Vanessa, she came to my house and helped me to get the cats into transportation kennels she provided, and after 4 weeks -- mainly due to our lack of previous vaccinations, required waiting periods, completing paperwork, and solving the health problems which required anti-biotics for several days, and traveling during an exploding global pandemic roughly Dec. 15, 2020 to Jan 13, 2021 -- the cats were delivered healthy to our doorstep in Brazil by Vanessa's kind counterparts based in Brazil. We are moving to New Zealand and about 5 months ago I hired a different pet transport company to help move our 2 cats (which is no small feat, as New Zealand is one of the hardest countries to get animals to). This first company gave me really confusing information that turned out to be wrong, so I hired another pet transport company, who was supposed to specialize in New Zealand animal transport. Well, this second company went bankrupt (IPT), took my money, and left me and my cats hanging just 30 days before we were supposed to go to NZ. AND this second company never got my import permit! (Thank God I had an awesome vet who knew which tests to order). So I hired a third company, Avico Logistics, and was promised they would take care of my cats and handle everything. Well, Roy with Avico screwed us over and never handled the health certificates, so, just 6 days before my cats were supposed to fly to New Zealand, I fired my THIRD pet transport company. I was panicked. And in tears. I had no family to take my cats and we had NO idea what we were going to do. AND, my teenage daughter is autistic (Asperger's) and she would not get on that plane if our cats weren't going. Then I contacted Vanessa with Premier Pet Relocation. She was AMAZING from the beginning and said as long as I had the right tests done, she would handle everything and get my cats to New Zealand on time (we had 6 days to make this happen).
