This was in no way something I wanted to deal with without a professional with demonstrated experience, particularly to a country with stringent and unclear requirements. Prior to speaking with Vanessa, I spoke to about 5 agents in this space who candidly did not seem like they knew what they were talking about (one even suggested he only set up the vet appointment and I mail in the paperwork, which he was happy to charge me $XXX for- sir, what am I contacting you for then?). Vanessa not only responded immediately with comprehensive information about the process (more than the USDA website and even the Vietnamese customs page- I looked) and what she could do for me. She moved mountains to make this happen, met with me at the vet process, and clearly cares deeply about the animals she is helping to move. I have to again underscore how different my experience with Vanessa was from other providers where it really felt like you're paying someone to move around paperwork and they actually expressly disclaim that after all that your dog may not even meet the requirements to get on the plane. Vanessa gave me the comfort to know things will be fine because she does this all the time, as opposed to other operators who kind of seem like they're just winging it. Thanks again Vanessa, you're a life saver!

Wow, I'm so grateful for Sniff and Go's pet taxi services and had such a positive experience with…read morethem! I used Sniff and Go in October and November 2020 for their pet taxi services while attending day school. The team at SF Puppy Prep recommended them for pet taxi. Booking: Very easy! I had sent an email when their online form didn't work (they have since updated their website) and within a few minutes I received a text. I didn't mind the form not working because they were so accessible and responsive through text, call, and email. They set up a call so I could get more information and sign up. They set me up with an online account and shared more details about their pet taxi services. I logged onto the client portal and appreciated that most of this had been set up during the phone call with initial dates for their services. All I had to do was add a form of payment and a picture of my puppy. Price: Typically, afternoon services cost $45-60 depending on time. With SF Puppy Prep, the cost is $35 for the afternoon. Afternoon Pick Up: Three times a week, a driver picked up my puppy from SF Puppy Prep and between 2:30pm and 4:30pm, she was brought home. For the most part, she arrived home around the same time which was very convenient for work schedules. There was one day the driver was running behind and as soon as she knew, she texted me with an updated ETA. They never had too many dogs in the car and had adequate staffing to make sure dogs are always monitored. Most of the time we had the same person drop her off which was nice for consistency. Notes from the Driver: They always provided notes from that day about my dog's behavior in the car. It was always helpful to hear how she did. Customer Service: This is where Sniff and Go shines! I only positive experiences with everyone at Sniff and Go. Even when they were running late one day, they were incredibly proactive. When my puppy woke up sick and couldn't attend day school, I simply cancelled online and they confirmed. I was pleasantly surprised when they didn't charge me even though I had cancelled the day of due to illness, which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend Sniff and Go for their pet taxi service!

Her love for pets is unconditional and she really takes a good care of them as if it was her own. With her background as a Vet Tech, she is highly knowledgeable and you can be assured she knows what she's doing. I 100% trust her for all my pet sitting needs and would recommend her to anyone.

In response to business owner response to my original post…read more When we first met I stated I was looking for someone to build a relationship that I could trust my high maintance breed to & specfically someone that knew how to work with this breed, which business owner stated was familiar with. I would have liked for all this to worked out but sadly from this experience I no longer will be able trust anyone to care for my pups. Yes, it was my first time leaving them so of course, I felt off and would miss them during my time away.Which is even the more important and would have appreciated my pups be cared for as asked. If red flags were noticed these should have been addressed.Business owner should have said NO to caring for my dogs. As well as been more clear about service right then and there...why would I pay for overnight or open my home if not to make sure pups are ok overnight. When the 60 pound puppy was jumping, I went to grab him but I recall a statement stating it was okay with they were familiar with bulldogs and grew up with eb's something along these lines. After the meet and greet and before I left them in business owner care I made sure to trim nails with a groomer because I know those scratches can hurt! My dogs are trained dogs and I always keep them in training and on routine, schedule.Anyone with experience with this breed would know they are jumpers especially if they want attention. both in the puppy/teen stage. Which I mentioned to business owner during the meet and greet when it was happening. Also, when business Owner reached out to me for payment for the day I asked her to leave my home- in the same email with that included the invoice I stated why I would not pay per what I saw on cameras and also vet confirming illness of pups & distress from this experience-all in original post. I never got reply email back or heard back from business owner. My dogs are on schedule and potty trained but yeah you got to open the patio door and let them out. If they were not let out at their indicated time as stated in my 7 page long notebook of step by step instructions I left, of course they will urinate inside. The patio had artificial grass and I clearly stated walks were not a priority especially on hot days because playing ball with them inside would suffice and they overheat fast because of their breathing issues, this was also stated in notebook btw. In my many emails to business owner I state I had been working with pups leaving them alone, a month and half prior to leaving them for my trip to prepare to be away from me. I told business owner I worked them up to 3 hours at a time which is what was stated by business owner would be out the most at a time but not all the time throughout the day due to their work. Yes I had never left them pups alone prior to more than 20 mins but once Booked service I knew I needed to get used to me leaving and increased time. If notebook would have been read with instructions it would have been clear to open the pen and let pups roam around. Everything we spoke about in person or maybe an email was written out in the notebook. Im not going to go back and forth with this as I am still dealing with the huge vet bill and still traumatized about this situation. Im over this and only trying to heal and move on. Yelp is a platform to let others know of an experience and voice opinions. Not everyone can work with this breed and its hard as it is to find someone who really knows how to as it is, so I had to share for this bulldog owners at there. So I do not feel I ruined the reputation of the business owner or their business or set out to "destroy". I am sorry they feel that way and wished this experience would have not gone the way it did, especially for my pups. Never again & never again with any pet sitter at all.

They were contracted by Airpets to assist with my dog's travel, and their professionalism and care made a world of difference in easing my concerns about the process. DOGument was responsible for picking up my dog and checking her in for her Alaska Airlines flight. From start to finish, their service was outstanding. Here's what stood out: +Proactive and detailed preparation: Tracie, the representative who handled my dog's check-in, was fantastic. She reached out the afternoon before our travel date with a detailed checklist of everything we needed to ensure the early morning pick-up and check-in would go smoothly. Her proactive communication gave me confidence and helped us feel fully prepared. +Punctual and patient pick-up: Al, the DOGument representative who picked up my dog, arrived right on time and was incredibly patient with my dog, who has extreme separation anxiety and tends to be wary of strangers. Al's calm demeanor and expertise put us at ease--my dog immediately took to him, which was a huge relief. +Thoughtful acclimation process: Al took the time to help my dog adjust to the fact that she would be traveling in her crate. Even though we had crate-trained her for a couple of weeks prior, his encouragement, along with giving her treats and letting her take her time, made a noticeable difference in her comfort level. +Real-time updates: I received photo updates as soon as my dog arrived at the airport, along with text messages confirming her check-in. This level of communication reassured me that everything was going smoothly. +Extra care for her comfort: They went above and beyond by adding stickers to her crate with her name on them. This small but thoughtful gesture allowed airline staff to address her by name, which I know helps calm her down. It was clear they had thought of every detail to make her journey as comfortable as possible. Thanks to DOGument, a process I was nervous about turned out to be stress-free and well-handled. I'm so grateful for their exceptional service and highly recommend them to anyone who needs pet transportation. Their care and attention to detail were invaluable, and I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again!
