I sold my truck I bought from here and the new owner was shocked why I sold it lol and how clean and well cared for it was .. I just wanted to try a car out again so I bought another car only to bring it here and get another truck this year that a pretty blue one ..I've had many colors in cars but never blue .. might have to put Batman on here somewhere lol

The check engine light can on. I drove it back and had it checked. They found nothing. I took it back again and they said I need a new engine. What? Are they kidding me? Of course I'm stuck with it, buyer beware. No warrantees expressed or implied. I took it to my shop. The engine was basically fine, it needed a transmission. $4500 later it was good to go. So I thought. Over the next year I dumped thousands into this car. I've probably spent a total of nearly $10-11,000 including the purchase. It's nice car. It runs well now. No more problems. But it wasn't worth the good deal I got. Never trust a dealer ever. Do your homework. Get a used car checked independently - no matter what. I'll never do business with Red Wing again.

Before coming in, I called ahead and was told the dealership was slow and that I would be taken care of. Since the dealership is right down the road for me, I decided to stop in and take a look at a few vehicles. I have been test driving a number of vehicles recently, and I made my situation clear from the beginning. Throughout my visits, I explained multiple times where I was in the buying process, and I was still encouraged to come in. The team was very accommodating at first, which I genuinely appreciated, and I made a point to thank them and acknowledge my situation. I was able to test drive quite a few vehicles and everything was going well. However, when I was about to look at another vehicle, a sales manager pulled my salesperson away to assist a different customer who had just arrived to purchase. I completely understand prioritizing a sale, but what didn't sit right was that no one else stepped in to continue helping me. When I asked if someone else or the manager could assist, I was told they were too busy and asked to come back another day. That experience was disappointing, especially after calling ahead, being transparent about my situation, and already spending time at the dealership. It felt like once I wasn't an immediate sale, I was no longer a priority. What concerned me even more was that, in their public response to my review, my personal situation was referenced -- something I had only shared in a private conversation. I did not feel that was appropriate. Overall, I understand how busy dealerships can be, but the lack of continuity in service and the handling of personal information led me to take my business elsewhere.

Fast forward another mile, I am pulled over calling roadside service because my car is now making a bizarre sound and shifting weird. I sort out everything with RA and they text me that Statewide is coming to get me and drop my car off at the dealer (yes, the one my dumb arse passed earlier). He showed up within 20 minutes, packed it up like a champ, had a lively conversation in the cab (again, saving me from a total tear fest - who needs car trouble), dropped it in the dealership parking lot like a champ (no scrapes, scratches, damage, just parked neatly like it never happened), and waited for me to fill out my key drop ticket. I have worked with a couple towing companies in the past, but the passion with which Statewide Towing showed for serving its customers tonight won them a spot in my favorites/contact list. I pray I never see Allen again under bad circumstances, but I am happy to know if I need Statewide Towing again, they will be there and ready to roll. Outstanding job! Took the "manager" almost 5 hours to do my vehicle even dropped off early. called around 430 to see…read morewhat was going on with my vehicle got an excuse about how the tech had to redo a few windows a couple of times. ok fine I understand. would have been great to get a phone call saying that it's taking a little longer than expected. 1st red flag. was told to show up between 430 and 5pm. showed around 5 he still wasn't finished. went inside to talk to the receptionist didn't get a sorry they were acting kind of weird to be honest, like something happened. 2nd red flag. the tech finally pulled my car around. At the time I did know he was the "manager" I went outside to look at it all but the windshield had some scratches on it. Mind you I worked at a competitors shop with wraps window tinting ceramic coating you name it. I was a quality control/ product ordering manager for them. So I know what "cut" windows from tinting looks like. I went back inside still no apologies for how long it was taking nothing. the receptionist asked if everything was ok I told him what I saw a lady that was at the desk with him got up and went to get the manager. he came to the front and asked what was wrong I told him. We went out side I showed him the scratches. he said the only reason they were visible now was because of how dark the tint is. Turned around and went back inside. still no acknowledgment about how long it took or anything. I then talked to the receptionist again. He asked me if the manager took care of everything. I told him no said that nothing was wrong and it was because of the how dark the tint was. At this point the manager didn't introduce himself to a new customer acted like had done nothing wrong and look like he was more irritated about what has happened instead of taking care of the customer Mind you still no apology. I paid for a job that was half a$$3d and by the manager no less. I then left not satisfied with the work more irritated than anything. Kinda explains what took soon long with the tint. It shouldn't take but a couple of hours to do the job and by a "manager" probably less time. I'm wondering if he was trying to fix his screw up in the time. Got a text a day later asking to leave a comment about my service. Did so it was negative of course. Later that day I got another text from someone named sunny. Told them what had happened they asked if I could take pictures of the windows in doing so I had noticed now my rear passenger headrest was sitting kind of funny went to go adjust it and put it back down in doing so it came off the posts. Im now line wtf seriously not only had this guy cut up my windows he destroyed the head rest also. Before they say oh that was done previously no It actually wasnt. No body rides in the back I have no reason to move the head rest at all. Sent pictures told sunny about this crickets now they were so quick to try to help and now I was ghosted. Its Wednesday now when sunny was texting me. Gave them till Monday the 27th still no word so I texted sunny back Tuesday the 28th still nothin. So frustrated about this not on am I out 5 very expensive windows now I have to order the headrest from Germany that going to cost 500+ shipping and taxes. (Dark Windshield Tint Requires Medical Exemption at Sun Control)…read more I honestly couldn't recommend a better place to get your windows tinted in Minnesota. I went to Tint World first, and they quoted me $992 "after discounts" for the same package I got here at Sun Control for a much better price. That alone made me feel good about my decision, but the experience sealed the deal. This isn't my first time coming here--on my last car, I got their entry-level tint, which was decent for adding some privacy. But this time, I went with XPEL XR Prime Plus, and the difference is insane. If you've looked into XPEL, you already know it's top-tier and comes with great benefits, but what really stood out was the team at Sun Control. They're super easy to work with, clearly focused on making sure you're happy, and they had my whole car done in about 3 hours, including the front and back windshields. What really impressed me was their attention to detail. My car has a third brake light that's inside the rear windshield. Without me even asking, they hand-cut the tint, and it looks perfect--like it came from the factory that way. No rough edges, no misalignment, just clean and precise work, leaving the light bright and visible. That level of care isn't something you get everywhere, and it makes a huge difference. I can see other shops disregarding something like this; and I wouldn't even have noticed. I did a ton of research before getting my tint done and came across a lot of horror stories from other places, so I was a little nervous going in. But Sun Control absolutely delivered, and now I've got nothing but a great experience to share. I seriously think this is the best place in the state for tint. Called Lemon Squad and paid the $330. 2 hours later the inspection began. Results were in my email 36 hours later. Inspector did a thorough job and included 72 pictures including one if the code scanner results. They also measured the tread depth of each tire and included all findings in an easy to ready report. Lemon Squad saved me the disappointment of flying to Illinois in winter to pick up a sports car only to learn the tires were barely legal after the dealer ad and salesperson repeatedly assured me that everything on the car was mint. The dealership has since refused to replace the tires (3/32nds) or discount their price as they are selling the 2001 Corvette Z06 with 22,000 miles as-is. Instead of explaining how these were missed, Lemon Squad just kept sending the same canned response about their inspection being "visual and non-invasive." I wasn't asking for a warranty--I was asking why obvious issues weren't caught. The customer service was just as disappointing as the inspection. I won't use them again. They could improve by not having canned responses such as it's visual and non invasive. In one of the photos you could zoom in and see cut wires. I diddnt catch it because I didn't think I needed to indirect the inspector's work. All in all it was a mistake ever trusting them! So yourself a favor and just look up local mechanics and ask them to go do it.
