Screw your markets and bazaars with their aromas of herbs and spices, nothing awakens the senses like the playful crinkle of a monster munch packet or the shine in your eye when the sun catches off the packaging of a Capri Sun (The only place I have found in Australia that stocks them FYI). Expect a friendly greeting from the Welsh lady who's on the counter and get lost in the selection of stuff you'd forgotten you'd missed. Apart from Taste Ireland, which I have also reviewed there is nowhere that I have come across that has as much selection as these guys. While it is mostly sweets and confectionery there is a huge selection of grocery items available too. You name it they pretty much have it. from washing up liquids, to powders, sauces, stuffing, cordials, soft drinks and football merchandise as well. The selection is absolutely massive. if you're missing home and some of your favorite grub pop in and see these guys. It'll be money and time well spent. Chocolate lines the walls and the centre of this charming space is actually a communal table which is very inviting for a coffee or tea. Staff know their products inside out and are very helpful with suggestions and any questions you might have. Because I could not leave the store without buying some. :-) On the hunt for yet another cafe, I stumbled upon a store front that almost seemed boarded up with news clippings and other laminated articles, and if it was not for the "Chocolate" that caught my eye, I may have missed out entirely. The shop maybe quite small, but it is packed with so many varieties of deliciousness that you'll be hard pressed to choose. I decided that I should try to find the ultimate match for a couple of the smoky Islay single malts I have at home. The desire therefore was to find something 80+% cocoa solids, giving a rich comparison to savour the smoky peat. At this request I was presented a sample of the perfect dark choc. Within seconds I had found what I was after. Not to stop there I was then presented a sample of tobacco chocolate which contained heavily caramelised cocoa which was then mixed in with 60% choc. The result was a crisp, almost nutty result which while delicious, was not as good as the 80% I then purchased. No this is not the cheapest chocolate you will find, but it has to be close to the best in Sydney. I would certainly recommend them if good quality choc is what you are after. By the way, they also serve Sacred Grounds coffee here which I can not review as I did not drink any here, but you might want to should you drop in.

The Coffee Mocha was delicious though adding an extra shot of espresso to it made it much better than original mocha. The chocolate was overpowering the coffee without that extra shot. My Sweet Boutique ( MSB ) is one of Sydney's hottest food trucks and it specialises in waffles. They open to the public Wednesday - Sunday and serve across from the Enmore Park. The Food Truck is beautifully decorated by lots of nice food isms and the whole truck screams Instagram so you better be prepared to # and snap to your hearts content and that's before and of the glorious food is even served. The Waffles come in 6 variations of flavours some of which include the 2204 and Enmore Road. The flavours favour from the flavouring sauces and fruit and nut content. The option is for it to come in a slider ($6) slab ($9) or in a mason jar ($12). Of course everyone wants the jar because it's more fun. The jar I got was 2204 which offered a combination of ice cream, smashed waffles, banana, popcorn and salted Caramel. The presentation is absolutely amazing here and it's almost a crime to eat out of something that looks that good but just try and resist. The jar comes with the option of a lid too which is cute if you want to keep the jar and try DIY job on it later. Also on offer here is the famous Nutella names Jars. So basically you get a personalised jar stacked with waffles and cream on the top and inside gorgeous Nutella and ice cream on the inside. It's an absolute must for anyone that wants to show off to their friends. The staff are extremely friendly and happy to assist you with recommendations on the best selections.
