Everything is of exceptional quality and condition. Not only do they sell but they buy as well. If you've got vintage wear you'd like to get rid of, try them. They give cash or credit for things they'll buy from folks. As with most stores like this, you'll get more in store credit for your stuff. Fun fact: they've also got a location in Waco.

According the store manager, each piece in the shop is purchased directly and not on consignment. One rack is white to off-white bohemian chick pieces. While all clothing is vintage, there are a few modern items such as journals. The store manager was super friendly and made me feel I was the only one in the store. This was the perfect spot for anyone who loves fashion with a bit of spice. Prices are in a rather broad range - from inexpensive amount to a bit pricey.

Oscar helped me with jeans while another staff member helped my bf with tshirts (didn't catch his name). I told Oscar my dilemma with my 1955 jeans, and he recommended boncoura work pants to me. I think they're a new product and were made in partnership with self edge? I don't remember all the details beyond him telling me he fits women in these pants because they surprisingly fit women really well. I tried them on...and yeah. I walked out of the store with them and wore them the rest of the day lol. Everyone was super helpful while we shopped and tried clothes on. I think I actually had a better experience here than at the SF store. They have a parking lot out front, so the store is really accessible. If you're looking for raw denim, visit self edge. If you're looking for premium, well-made basics or you're into working menswear from Japan, go to self edge. They're knowledgeable, and they're passionate about the industry and products they carry. I'm glad self edge opened a store in Austin bc I'm pretty sure there isn't another store here that is within this market of clothing. I'll definitely come back as soon as my budget allows!

So I walked in with my girlfriend to a huge surprise of what the store actually was. Since we have already committed to walking in we might as well walk the whole store. It might have what you need if you are into the leather daddy stuff. But probably nothing you can use to safely go motorcycle riding. The store clerk was friendly, probably just as confused as we were.

Chiké greeted us warmly when we arrived and helped us for over an hour. He usually is at the Dallas Knox Henderson store, and next time we're near there we will stop in because he helped us immensely. There are so many types of fabrics, fits, and colors that it can be overwhelming but Chiké helped my partner with finding the best cut of shirts and pants for her body type. He even helped us put an outfit together with our description of what she already has at home. We were there for a while trying all the things and he would was there every step, chatting with me while I waited and fitting her outfits. And not like "ok I'll grab another size" - but like knew by looking at whatever she had on what to adjust. "Ok so we're gonna need xx" X xx" in short, classic cut... be right back." When we walked in he guessed her pant size exactly so we had a starting point to try different cuts. He got everything ordered and had it express shipped so she would have it in time for her event. I could go on and on because it truly was a great and rare experience. We like the quality of the clothes but will now to return to the brick and mortar for the helpful experience.
