I have always been pleased with how thoroughly her staff clean for the prices I am charged. Emilia has personally come by my apartments to help determine the correct pricing for each time I have moved, and provided crews at extremely fair prices to do thorough move-in/move-out deep cleans when I've moved. She went above and beyond when I was incapacitated for a short time in an accident to make sure her staff were not just the basic services I was paying for, but also to have her staff assist me with household chores (changing bed linens, etc.) that I would have normally done but was unable to do. If you really want a clean home though, I'm sure you can find a company in the Bay Area that is more thorough and efficient. Their business practices are very concerning, though, so do NOT trust them with your home or money. When we were moving out, and they asked if we wanted them to clean our home one last time. We agreed and told them we were not paying anything more than our usual $125. They agreed, and we paid them $125 for their services the same day. Months later we were sent an invoice for services we never asked them to do and the charge was over 5X what we usually paid them despite the fact that we already paid them the $125 on the day they provided the service. It is standard business practice to negotiate a price before services are provided. It is unprofessional to slap people with a bill after the fact just because you feel like they owe you more money. I would never encourage anyone to do business with these women unless you have an estimate in your hand with details about the services they provide before they clean your home. Otherwise, they will do things you never asked them to do and charge you excessive amounts of money for it.

I texted him again the next day, no response. I finally called him the next day and said he didn't get a text - turns out he had a different number that received messages. We finally agreed on a time/date and I had my husband work from home so someone could be home. He explained that the first clean is a deep clean. For the next few days, I asked him to send me a cleaning list that they used. He promised he wound send it (twice) but never got around to it. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that they knew what they were doing. They were 25 minutes late. We called Jay, who said that "they should be there" and that "they are around". I had him call to see if he can get an ETA. They left after an hour and a half - for a deep clean, that is awfully short. We had a 3 bedroom and 2 bath. When I got home, the basic cleaning wasn't even done. It was tidier compared to how we left it, but I wanted a deep cleaning service and not just a tidying service. The baseboards were dusty. Even areas that are very easily accessible were not touched and dusty. The end table next to the bed was dusty. It was dusty underneath the bed (we cleared all of the items, too, to make it easily accessible) The backsplash in the kitchen was dirty. We took the time to clear everything off the floor, too. I texted Jay and told him I was disappointed in the service. I sent him some photos. He offered a free re-do. I was hesitant because I didn't want to waste my time if their quality of service wasn't good. We arranged for a time/date a week later. I send him my own cleaning list and told him to review it. He said he had no problems with it (it's basically the entire house). They were supposed to come today at 9 AM. After 30 mins, no word from them. I texted Jay, no response. I called Jay, who then tells me that it's not a whole house re-do but only specific areas that were not done. I told him that they didn't really clean well to begin with and that I had a sent him the list in advance so he can review and tell me if he had a problem with it. He said they'll do the list but "not the entire house," which was confusing. I get upset and Jay cuts me off every chance he gets and hangs up on me. He said I wasn't being fair because now he has to pay his cleaning lady twice, and asks me "then what where they doing there last week? Just sitting?". It's like having an argument with a child - obviously, they weren't just sitting here, but they didn't do their job. I told Jay not to send his cleaning lady because we didn't want to waste any more of our time. I sent him more videos I took around the house the day after a clean to show the quality of the work. I would have been ok if they missed a few spots because I understand that it takes awhile to tell your cleaner what your preferences are, but not cleaning all of the baseboards and missing a good part of the open floor is not really acceptable. If you don't want to waste your time, don't go with Splash Clean! We wasted our hard earned money with this service. I probably could have done a better job if I had time to do a deep clean. They were hard to communicate with, they were late and didn't value our time, most importantly--they didn't do a good job cleaning. Overall, it was not a pleasant nor a professional interaction. EDIT: I found him on thumbtack, and when I posted my review there, he deleted his account and texted me "see your review was gone and you are blacked from my account and impossible to see my account," and now he's saying that he has never had business with me. When I finally got the other guy on the line, he was curt in his responses and made me feel like I was wasting his time. I hung up vowing I wouldn't use them. I decided to give them another shot since I found them in the GGBA Pride Pages and wanted to be able to say I was supporting a GGBA member . Called the rude guy again - twice - leaving a voicemail both times and have yet to receive a return call. The last call was almost two months ago. The oven and refrigerator sparkled as did the bathroom. When we rented the house a second time, I immediately called Scott to deep clean again for the next tenant. He sent a team but this time a few areas were overlooked. I called Scott and he immediately returned my call, apologized profusely and offered to go back and do the job himself.
