I contacted this company for a deep cleaning quote for my bedroom and was initially given a quote. Afterward, I mentioned that I had already hired another cleaning company first but was unhappy because several areas were still left dirty, which is why I was looking for a better service. Once I disclosed that another company had already cleaned the room, I was told they do not like taking jobs previously cleaned by other companies and that I should ask the original cleaners to come back instead. The response honestly felt dismissive, and almost as if they no longer wanted the job because I had not chosen their company first. What confused me most is that the room still clearly needed cleaning regardless. I had a deep cleaning scheduled for a new construction house a couple of days ago. The house was empty as we planned to get it deep cleaned before moving and to get rid of construction dust since we have a baby and a kid who has allergies. The scheduler made a mistake and was off a day. I had to move deliveries and moving some stuff while at work because of that. It was an inconvenience alright but it was okay since it was an honest mistake. I did specifically ask if they could clean the open area above the cabinets in the kitchen. They even said they did it before leaving. I checked and I could feel and see the dust like it was not wiped at all. The cleaners were 2 hours late to my 9 am appointment because they were running late cleaning an Airbnb earlier that morning. I had to call them at 9:15 am to ask their ETA; they didn't even call to tell me they were running late. I think because they were overbooked and running late that day, they rushed my deep clean. The corners and baseboards were still dirty, my fridge and freezer had crumbs and stains, and the window sills weren't touched. I called them and asked them to return, but the cleaners didn't understand English so it was hard to communicate with them about the areas they missed. Included photos of spots they missed the first time. This was a really frustrating experience. They were late and did a poor job of deep cleaning my studio. I don't understand how they are so highly rated when the service I received was extremely poor. I will not be contacting them for services again. read more

I needed a DEEP post-pandemic cleaning for my apartment as I am still recovering from hoarding toilet paper and bare minimum depression cleaning. I requested the deep cleaning and carpet cleaning service on June 5 and immediately was messaged by House Cleaning SF asking me details about the state of my apartment and carpet. I sent some photos but after some back-and-forth via messaging House Cleaning SF wanted to take a look at the apartment before stating a price. This is the first time that any cleaning service has asked to see my space before quoting me a price so I was surprised, but now understand how great that type of attention to detail is. Noe was able to come to my home on Friday morning June 7 to take a look and clearly state the work that will be done, and the expectations of how parts of the home will be cleaned.
