I ordered Myson radiators from Houseneeds. Tom, their salesman told me to hurry so that I could get the delivery quickly. They were delivered damaged a month later with some missing valves I immediately called the customer support number on their invoice - no answer. I emailed the three email addresses (support@houseneeds.com, info@housneeds.com,sales@houseneeds.com) with no reply. After a number of days trying I finally got through to Diane in support. (The support number is wrong). She found my email but was not able to help me. I called Tom the sales person - he said that it was not their problem by Mysons so he would call them. I also mentioned that their website picture showed angle valves but the product number was for straight vales. He agreed to send me new valves. A week later nothing arrived. I called back - they had forgotten to ship the valves. Not clear what will happen on the damaged radiator. This is clearly a small rural business that is trying the Internet "thing" - I want them to succeed - but clearly they are a telephone and paper based business without the knowledge to run an Internet business. If you want to do business with them then use the telephone and a fax machine. read more

My experience with them was really poor. Their website lacks basic e-commerce capabilities -- it doesn't indicate if there is stock, and it can't calculate shipping other than ground. I placed an online order for overnight shipment, after calling them and being told that they had the item and that I should order it online. They sent an email 1/2 hr before cut-off time with the overnight shipping cost -- naturally, I wasn't sitting in front of my email every minute to check it, so I got it that evening. I emailed them that I was not happy with what happened. To top it off, they sent another email a day later, saying that the item was actually out of stock and they wouldn't have it for a few weeks. So, they could not have shipped it anyway. They refused to apologize for their mess-ups (I was very polite), and then they stopped answering my emails at all. Called to return a defective part, three month old, was told to buy another one, return broken one. They would send to manufacture to see if it's covered by warrantee , then would refund the difference pending outcome. What a waste of time. Absolutely horrible customer service and phone number on webpage is disconnected. I was serviced by a woman called Sabrina, and she was rude, impolite, and just cut me off on their chat service tool. I do not recommend this company. They may be good if you visit their store but their online service is far worse than I have experienced before. I tried for two days to get on their chat service since the phone number did not work. It saddens me that companies behave like this in todays world where online feedback is available. read more

I needed a gas valve for a Bosch tankless hot water heater. My local gas company said it would cost $35 to ship and take two days to get it and I was only 20 miles away so I told him that I'll go pick it up. I get there with the model number and all the info, they would not give me a part number they said I have to call Bosch to get the number. I called Bosch to get the part number and got it and had a question to make sure that the gas valve was what was wrong, they switch me over to four different people and none of them would say that was the problem and they were rude. Can not talk to anyone with any knowledge of the parts you need. Then after talking to a clerk who will send my note to someone for 2 weeks they decide the parts can't even be ordered. The same day Rinnai said they will send me the parts for all the trouble I have had to go through with Houseneeds. This is the absolute worse customer service I have ever experienced. I got lucky when I bought a $1500 furnace from these folks 10 years ago and after paying them 37.50 for the wrong igniter replacement I'm going to eat it just so I don't have to talk to these uneducated clerks (I'm being nice). This is not the service you need when cold weather is outside and you need help. Don't put your hard earned dollars in the hands of these people. read more

Absolutely horrible company. I work for the Government and deal with all types of companies from all over the world. Shipping and recieving things. Some are good and some are bad. This one is one of the worst. Stay away from them. I have never dealt with such slow and unresponsive customer service. They do not hold up their end of the business transaction and when you finally do start talkinfg to someone it is so late in the game that they claim too much time has passed.
