I personally will never buy another vehicle from TX Auto GRP. I bought a $40K Jeep Gladiator from…read morethem, that only had 36K miles on it, and within two months the vehicle had catastrophic engine failure and left me stranded in the middle of nowhere. It had a broken crankshaft. TX Auto GRP sold me a lemon!!! To make matters even worse, I bought TX Auto GRP's warranty when I purchased the Jeep. Not only did the Jeep break down, but they could not honor the warranty that they sold to me. The Jeep literally sat in their services department for almost three months, and it was never repaired. It is still sitting there to this day. Not only could they not fix the vehicle, but they did not seek outside help (Jeep dealer) to rectify the issue so that I could get back on the road. I even offered to have it towed to my mechanic so that he could fix it, but I was told "It does not work that way." Beyond that, trying to get updates about the repair was almost impossible. Nobody would answer the phone or return my text unless I called the sales manager. After a while the sales manager just started letting my calls go to voicemail. I even tried to contact the owner, but nobody would put me in contact with him. It was the worst experience of my life and that is not an overstatement. Then the loaner car they gave me also had engine issues. The check engine light came on one day after I picked up the loaner. It started running rough, so it was not drivable either. After I told them what happened, nobody even offered to get me into another loaner car. I was now stuck with another TX Auto GRP mechanical issue. Finally, the Jeep Gladiator is not something that happened to me once. Nope! I have purchased four vehicles from TX Auto GRP over the past six years. The first vehicle I bought from them had major frame damage and the front end of the truck was welded up to the point that you could not even fix any of the damaged parts. They hid the frame damage by using bondo and paint. The next truck I bought had fuel system issues. I had the entire fuel system changed out twice just to clear the check engine light. The third truck was the only vehicle that I did not have issues with because I bought it from someone who came into the dealership to trade it in while I was there shopping for trucks. Meaning, it was not an auction vehicle that the dealer got super cheap so that he could then repair and sell off for a jacked up price. Three out of four vehicles that I have purchased from TX Auto GRP have had catastrophic failure. I highly recommend you stay away from this dealer unless you want to end up like me: Screwed out of your hard-earned money ... After all of that, I tried to get them to buy the Jeep Gladiator back and put me in something else, but they refused, so now I have to spend money on a lawyer, since I was basically forced to go buy a new vehicle, because they could not fix the lemon they sold to me.

Thankfully, rain made today a slow business day and I was next in line. Tireni was assigned to my appraisal. Took a quick 2 minute survey of my details, and put my car through the process. They estimate. 30-40 processing period. I gave up my keys at 2:10p, my car was moved at 2:17, returned at 2:32 and I received my appraisal at 2:43. A very well timed process. Fast forward a month, I ordered a car to be delivered from Louisiana location for a test a drive. $200 non-refundable. It took two weeks and the tracker sucked, rarely updated. But it eventually came in. And the test drive process was a breeze, again in and out in less than 20. The gal hated the car (Genesis gv70 Electrified). Too cramped, but very pretty. So we passed, but the staff and service was easy and non-invasive Definitely recommend if you're looking. No negotiation, but no hassle either.

CarMax issued me a new $5,000 offer by email at approximately 3:04 PM on September 2, 2026, with Offer Code PE5S3D3M, valid through September 9. I presented this offer to the employee before signing the sale, and the transaction was not completed until approximately 4:18 PM. Despite this, CarMax completed the sale for only $4,600 without clearly explaining why the newly issued $5,000 offer was not honored before I signed. I contacted Customer Relations and opened case #01032923, provided documentation, and have spent additional time following up to resolve the issue. This experience has been very frustrating and has seriously damaged my trust in CarMax.

Out of state buyers, don't rely on all of the 5 star reviews and their inspection sales pitch. Our…read moreexperience as an out-of-state buyer with Texas Car Club has been extremely disappointing. What should have been an exciting purchase has turned into a nearly two-month process that is still unresolved. We've had ongoing issues obtaining the vehicle title and receiving temporary tags, creating unnecessary stress and making it difficult to legally drive the truck, multiple times. All communication has been very difficult - nearly every update required us to chase down answers ourselves, with multiple calls and messages going unanswered. The condition of the truck upon delivery also did not match what was advertised. Despite Texas Car Club's claims of a thorough inspection and detailing process, the truck arrived with a dead battery needing to be replaced, a headlight that needed to be replaced, and an interior that was noticeably dirty along with other issues not mentioned when asked during the buying process. The transport driver even told us the truck had to be jump-started just to get it on and off the transport trailer, making it difficult to believe these issues weren't well known before it left the dealership. Buying a vehicle from out of state requires a great deal of trust because you can't inspect the vehicle or handle the transaction in person. Unfortunately, that trust was never established with Texas Car Club. Between the unresolved title and temporary tag issues, the condition of the truck upon arrival, and the lack of follow-through after the sale, we have been left feeling unsupported throughout the process. As for the IKON technology - do not fall for that either. Once I challenged the $1,100 added fees for an after market and unadvertised item, they said it would be removed for $700 due to the 3 hours of labor. I received the vehicle with it still on. I removed it myself in under 5 minutes. While we like the truck itself, the overall buying experience has been frustrating. We hope Texas Car Club improves its inspection standards, communication, and post-sale support so future out-of-state customers have a better experience than we did.

Once I got the vehicle home, I noticed the paneling coming apart. Then the check check engine light came one. Their business dealer took care of the light, no problem. But the company said DT had to approve the body work via Silver Rock. Christian made up an excuse as to it was up to me to inspect the vehicle before accepting it. Of course, I was overwhelmed as I had just purchased an older model from another whack dealership. I had been given the run around from another. Honestly, I think the entire ordeal made me sick! Then the man tried to play the victim! I will continue to say, salesmen are sleazy, I dated one! If I were you, I wouldn't do business with DT unless you know your purpose is to get another car, and not from them. They could have easily sent me to the company and approved the panel. Just sad.

I called and spoke with the salesperson at DriveTime, who told me to have the vehicle placed on a diagnostic machine. We were only talking about the gas door and the clock at this point. Shortly after, I noticed something hanging from my truck. I took it to two different places, where I was told it was the water guard. They advised me to call the dealership to have it replaced, which I did. However, I was told I didn't need the part. They informed me that they didn't have the part but recommended I take it to a nearby shop to fix it cheaply. This all happened within my 30-day warranty period. The claim that I was asked for pictures is false was never asked for anything. Instead, I was brushed off and directed to a no-name shop because DriveTime did not want to fix the issue! Additionally, the wrong tires were installed on my truck. I was told the tires were brand new, yet I ended up with three flat tires that blew out on the freeway, putting my life in danger. I had no choice but to pay for new tires myself. They would rather I would have driven on the rims or died. I was not offered any reimbursement. Instead, I was told that an investigation would be conducted with no guarantee of approval. The bottom line is that the tires provided were too small for the truck, which jeopardized my safety. DriveTime responded that they cannot offer reimbursement which I told them was unacceptable. If I had died on the freeway because of your negligence, then what? I told them that i8 thought this was a reputable company to purchase a car from. The advertisements seemed honest and legitimate, but in reality, they sell people lemons, misrepresent vehicle conditions, and fail to consider the inconvenience caused to buyers. I demanded a reimbursement for the issues caused by their negligence and dishonesty. The way I am being treated is utterly ridiculous, and I want to make others aware of my experience.

If this wasn't enough, Zaki has proven that he has the goods to build a premier dealership as the personal care that he places on cars and customers is apparent from the time you meet. You will likely be taken aback by the way that Zaki balances being personal and professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Unfortunately we had a situation arise causing us to not be able to purchase from Zaki (completely our fault) and he was more than gracious and understanding. While we didn't get to purchase from Zaki( this time), we will be referring all of our friends and family to King Brothers. I only write reviews that I am utterly compelled to, and after spending weeks going through the car shopping fiasco, meeting many wonderful and terrible people, Zaki was the star that outshined them all. I wish Zaki and King Brothers nothing but success as this is just the type of experience we need in the world. Whether you purchase from King Brother's or not, you can rest assured that this 5 star rating (at this time) is not a fluke.
