Mitchell discussed the cost of repair vs replacement and I chose repair since the damage was minimal and the car is 7 years old. They went above and beyond with service. They repaired the bumper so it looks brand new but they also took care of other scratches that have happened through the years. They detailed the exterior and interior of the car so it was looking shiny and new when I picked it up. Mitchell ran a carfax report to see if there were any recalls on my make and model car. I have dealt with Michael for a very long time. I am not sure exactly how many cars I have bought from him over the years but there have been many. At any given time, I always have multiple cars and go through them rather fast. It is very normal for me to buy 2-3 cars a year. I live in Austin and many years ago, when Austin was just a small town, I would always have to look in bigger close by cities like Houston and Dallas for nice and clean used high end vehicles. The choices in Austin were very few and far in between. I think I ended up at his dealership the first time through an add. I did not buy anything from him that time. He did however made an impression on me and I ended up back at his dealership on one of my next purchases. I liked dealing with him and I found myself going to him time and time again. Even though Austin has now grown into a full big city and I can find just about any high end or exotic here, I still buy vehicles from him on a regular basis. I like the no pressure experience from him and he pretty much always finds what I am looking for. He also has given me advice on some of the other purchases I have made not through him. He has even talked me out of buying some cars from him from time to time because it was not the right car. One occasion that sticks out in my head is a few years ago. I made a day trip one day before new years eve to trade my car in on another one. After going back and forth between a few cars he had lined up for me to look at, I ended up not liking any of them. He called around and found one to my liking at another dealership. He stayed very late even though he was late to a party with his wife. The other dealership was closing and we decided to do the deal in the morning. Michael knew my plans were to drive to Houston and trade my car and drive back the same day. Knowing that now I had to stay overnight in Houston, he invited me to stay at his house until the next day when my new car would be ready. I have many friends in Houston so a place was not an issue. So I ended up at a friend's and drove my new car home the next day. Now that is great service. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be purchasing more cars from him in the future. read more

I just got off the phone with Michael and he told me my good friend, a master Maserati mechanic would laugh at my offer of 23 grand on an 05 cambiocorsa. They recently replaced the clutch and acted like that's a reason the car should be priced higher. He was the rudest individual I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with and he is truly a used car salesman. I wouldn't trust him. Apparently he has never heard that the consumer is always right. I found the same car for 18k but it needed a clutch and after a new one it still would have come in at 22k. The car is obviously overpriced and I'd be weary of the other common Maser problems they probably haven't addressed such as a heater core which will fry the cars CPU due to where it's placed.
