So I just want to say I wouldn't recommend this particular establishment. First: the waiters and…read morehotel staff are not as well trained as they should be and the beds defiantly need some additional times through the washing machine (women's work). This particular hotel seems to think I needed a roommate, and that bunkbeds are awesome (they are not), very squeaky and annoying. Second: the food, I ordered taco's and they brought me a peanut butter sandwich. I tried to send it back and the waiter was defiantly not trained in customer service. He tossed my peasant sandwich on the floor and told me to deal with it. I asked to speak to the manager, and he said......sure inmate.....wait right here. I waited......he never came. I am wondering if he was being sarcastic ? I watched as ants ate my supposed to be a taco, peanut butter sandwich. I'm defiantly not leaving a tip for these guys. Third: the roommate is very weird. He was drunk (fun) when he arrived and now he's sober (boring). I asked him where he got the beer but, he won't tell me, I think I must be a secret password at this establishment. I am considering tickling him until he tells me, or craps his pants. Fourth: These clothes that they provide are not up to my standards. First on all, who wears orange? This goes with nothing that I own, and does nothing for my attractiveness. No lady is going to see me in this outfit and go.....OOOOOH MY.......That handsome man looks so good in CARROT !!!

Excellent excuse to come to downtown. I would never imagine of being summoned twice in my short…read moretime living in Houston. And, best of all, at the same building. My first visit was in the summer of 2011. It was before me owning a fancy electronic, I wouldn't understand who would use WiFi. So, I met a couple of interesting JD (jury duty) regulars. A school teacher brought an ice chest, she called it "picnic basket." Another guy hardly talked, he finished reading 2 books while we waited hours in the hallway for voir dire. 4 years later, I'm no longer a rookie after reading reviews from my fellow Yelpers. A lady sat next to me complained how cold it was. I thought, "you should read Farrah's review by bringing a jacket." (Hehe. I was laughing silently). I was glad to see many improvements. 4 years ago, we were sorted through many reassigned juror numbers. Then, herded from room to room and waited in the hallways seeing defendants families snared at us. Not to mention can't eat or drink if you didn't bring a "picnic basket." Now, there are plenty of instructional signage to the security check point at the garage prior to entering the tunnel. My appointed time is in the afternoon. So, no more endless waiting for voir dire. Here are my tips: - bathrooms are on both side of vending machines. They're not clearly marked. Just push the doors lightly. If they don't open, it's probably not bathroom. - chairs in the lobby are recliners. If you didn't have breakfast, don't rock on it. You'll get dizzy. (Watch my in-app video) - bring snacks, lunch and something to drink. The cafe is not always open. There is only one microwave available. - take the opportunity of free METRO day pass to shop and eat while you're in downtown. (OMG, I walked a few blocks to Phoenicia for my first visit.)

I went through the website, and figured out my forms ahead of time, filled them out and printed them. I had some questions and emailed them ahead of time, they answered within two business days. Very good service. The place is located in the palm center. A rather old, strip, but a big parking lot. A refurb wouldn't hurt anyone. The tax assessors office is small corner adjacent to the courthouse. Make sure you go in the right door, and wait in the appropriate spot, or they will get at you. Already seated in the waiting room. I walked up to the desk, provided my paperwork, and she was very happy that I had already had it filled out and was ready to go. Gave me a ticket and even though I had just walked in, I was called up to a desk within 2 minutes and was done in 5 minutes. Keep in mind I came 20 minutes early and they still saw me early and I was out before my original time had passed. Excellent service! Do as much as you can to get the things done ahead of time, and you will not have to wait, and it will be a much easier and more pleasant experience for you.

I had to get permission to go in to work late so I could have it not be delinquent. I can't stand more than a few minutes without intense burning and pain during bad flares, and I'm in a horrible one now since my trunk fell on me and I had already gotten shoulder injections a few weeks prior. My back problems have been present for over 20 years, and I have fibro, AS, and autoimmune issues as well. Anyway, I usually go to the one on Chimney Rock, but that one can take a really long time. If I was off I wouldn't mind so much. The reviews for Griggs as well as calling and speaking with a very nice woman pointed me in the direction of this location. I planned on getting here at 7:30, but rain and life had me moving slow. I arrived in the parking lot after 8:20 and was out by 9:07. That's with me shuffling around my bags because of the rain and trying to protect my paperwork before actually going in. I was even able to get 2 placards, which I was about to ask for as mine looked like who did it and what for after 4 years of actual use. Faded to nothing and taped together in 2 places. I just turned 42 and work full time in addition to having nieces and nephews. My placard is always moving, and I drive my brother's vehicles since I can't easily move the car seats with my musculoskeletal and pain issues. The actual time from waiting in my seat to the desk and out the door was maybe 10-15 minutes. The only suggestion I have is the sign in sheet for the handicapped like the Chimney Rock location has so we don't have to stand in line and wait to check in at the desk for a number. Thankfully the line was short and I spoke with a lovely woman while waiting. However I had brought extra items for the wait(as I've had to wait hours in the past), my chair pillow, umbrella, iPad, and my bag was heavier than usual. Standing was extremely painful. It's not the same as standing with nothing in hand. There were chairs against the wall, but I did not want to risk losing my place in line. Outside of that it was a great experience. I'll be coming to this location for my needs from now on even though it's a bit further from home.
